Headcanon 1:

Ydris uses nicknames like darling, mon chérie or similiar quite often. Mario doesn't use them as much and Ydris teases him about him

Headcanon 2:

Since Ydris is probably over 2 meters tall* he holds stuff up from Mario who is a bit aka almost Ydris' head so he can get kisses or hugs for giving the stuff back

Headcanon 3/ kinda theory?

I've heard somewhere that pandorians are poisoned by oxygen but I'm not sure if it's canon. In bigger heights, there's less oxygen. So Ydris probably feels better at the observatory than somewhere lower. So he might prefer that over spending their time somewhere else

Headcanon 4/the dummy theory

I have formed a theory that there are 4 kinds of ships with two people. I have been corrected. There are 5. (thanks @bleach-and-a-blowtorch)

Maridris is the second one and Ydris is a dummy. That basically means that Mario is talking but Ydris is completely focused on the fact that they're holding hands.

Headcanon 5/kinda AU

What if pandorians actually have one of those soulmate AU things. Like the first words written on your wrist or something like that. If they met during the Vega quest it could have been interesting.

Headcanon 6

Mario plays with Ydris' hair often and Ydris pretends he doesn't like it but he does. Ydris is not allowed to play with Mario's hair. If he tries to play with it, he's dead.

Headcanon 7 the last one for this post

Mario immediately notices how fake Ydris' accent is. He helps him learn better.
