Prologue Entire Series Chapter One: “Necessities”

Chapter Two: Peach Cobbler

“Meechoo sheeu ta Darling Teven.” Darling shook Madame Wintaac’s name and bowed before her. “Drik ota meet kush, Mada Wintaac.” Madame Wintaac lifted her chin. “Drik ota meet kash, Misa Teven.” Darla smiled. “Excellent job. Now, if I were my husband?” Madame Wintaac quizzed. Darla took a couple of steps back and curtsied. The sound of a car engine met her ears.

“Meechoo sheeu ta Darling Teven. Drik ota meet kash, Masa Wintaac.” Darla straightened her body and glanced out of the window. “Exsuz meecha, Mada Wintaac,” Darla said. She rushed out of the study, through the foyer, past Dede (the head servant), and opened the front door. Finn’s foot had just landed on the first step when Darla flew into his arms, nearly knocking him over. “Hello, Beautiful,” Finn mumbled into her shoulder. He lifted her off her feet and walked up the three steps of her porch. Then, he placed her back down. Darla looked over her shoulder, checking the scene behind her, and quickly planted a kiss on Finn’s lips. “How are you?” she asked. Her eyebrows furrowed at the knot on his forehead. “What happened?” “I’m better now that I’m here,” Finn answered. “I uh...I stopped by the Solo house, first.” Darla rubbed the knot, then rested her palm on his cheek. “What are we going to do?” Darla asked. Finn kissed her hand and glanced behind her. He cleared his throat and quickly pulled away. “Mrs. Teven,” he said. Darla stepped back. “Good afternoon, Finn. It’s so nice to see you,” Amala said. “Darling, where are your manners? Let Finn inside.” Amala walked away from the door and Darla led Finn inside. Darla suddenly remembered Madame Wintaac. “I have to finish my lesson,” she said. “I’ll wait for you,” Finn said. “Finn, why don’t you join me in the parlor?” Amala “suggested”. She walked toward the dining room. “We got your request for peach cobbler. A slice before supper wouldn’t hurt.” Finn nodded. “Yes, ma’am.” Darla blew a quick kiss to Finn and dashed back into the study. Finn stood in the middle of the parlor. “Dede,” Amala called through the dining room. “Could you bring me and Sir Okani slices of the peach cobbler? And some ginger drinks, too.” Amala twirled around, walked toward Finn, then guided him toward the parlor. She pulled the sliding doors apart and Finn waited for her to walk in first. Then, he followed. Amala sat down, then he took his seat. “You look nice, Finn,” Amala said. She glanced at his forehead. “Mostly.” Finn inadvertently touched the knot, hoping that it would magically disappear under his fingers. “Thank you, Mrs. Teven. You look great yourself.” He cleared his throat. “I mean that in a respectful way.” Amala chuckled. “I know you do, Sweetie.” Then, she cleared her throat. “I suppose you’d like to discuss what happened when you were away.” Finn nodded. “Yes, ma’am. I just…” he gathered his thoughts. “I love Darla. Darling. I’ve loved her since we were schoolchildren. I want to marry her and take care of her.” Dede walked in with two plates of peach cobbler, and Faye, another servant, followed with two glasses of a carbonated ginger beverage. They placed them on the coffee table between Finn and Amala. “Thank you,” Finn said. “Thank you, Dede. Thank you, Faye,” Amala said. The ladies nodded and walked out of the room. “Would you like this closed, ma’am?” Dede asked. “No, you don’t have to. Thank you, Dede.” Dede stepped away and Amala took a breath. “You’re a wonderful boy, Finn. Young man. Mr. Teven and I adore you. And we know you adore our daughter. But…” Amala took another deep breath, then took a sip of her drink. She gently placed it down and sighed. “There’s just more that comes with being married into the royal family.” Finn pursed his lips, trying not to roll his eyes. “And you know that,” Amala continued. “You of all people know the benefits of having proximity to the royal family.” “Yes, ma’am, I do.” Finn contemplated his next statement. He pushed forward. “And my proximity has also allowed me to recognize that Ben would not be a good husband to your daughter.” Amala scoffs, grabs her plate, and leans back. She cuts into the cobbler with the side of her fork. “How do you know what makes a good husband? You still have milk on your breath.” She popped a piece of cobbler into her mouth as Finn searched for more words. “I’m not completely certain, Mrs. Teven. I just know that Ben wouldn’t make a good one. He’s impulsive, he’s temperamental. Crude,” he said. “Mrs. Teven, do the circumstances of this courtship not give you and Mr. Teven pause? A man asking for his godbrother’s lady’s--sweetheart’s--hand?" “Of course it does,” Mrs. Teven said, almost getting defensive. She put the plate back down and sat up. “And I know all of these things about Ben. But we have to take the good with the bad. That’s life, son.”

Darla eventually joined Finn and her mother with a slice of cobbler. Finn talked about his training, Darla talked about her Ewokese lessons. Just before supper time, Darla led Finn to the door and informed him of a little get together at Rey’s home the next evening. Of course, Finn confirmed his presence.

Jannah picked Darla and Rose up, and they made their merry way to Rey’s house. Mr. and Mrs. Jakkan had reluctantly gone out of town without their daughter--fully aware that she was liable to get into mischief during their absence. They trusted the servants to look after her, but knew she’d had them wrapped around her finger since she was a child.

Rey helped them set out a beautiful spread in the dining room--shrimp cocktail, little chicken wings, fruits, veggies, cheeses, and jugs of cordial. An upbeat song played on the phonograph in the parlor, and the women flitted about as they did when they were young girls--dancing, squealing, and singing to each other--all but Darla speaking of prospective suitors. Soon, Finn and Poe made their way over. “Finn! Poe!” Rey said when she answered the door. Darla rushed out into the foyer and threw her arms around Finn’s shoulders. He wrapped his arms around her, and finally, they got to share a passionate kiss. “Stars, get a room, will you!” Poe said as Rey guided him to the parlor. Darla and Finn laughed into each other’s lips, but did not break their kiss. “Where’s Armitage?” Rey asked. “Spending up all of his money,” Poe answered. Darla and Finn finally pulled apart. “I need you,” Darla leaned close and whispered. She pulled away and Finn raised his eyebrows. “Need me?” he asked. Clarifying. Darla nodded. “Yes. Need you.” He bit his lip and scanned their environment. “Now?” Darla hugged him again and whispered in his ear.

Your witch senses tell you to go into the woods, so you and the party leave the diner and travel around in what feels like endless circles.

BYAKUYA: Do you even know where you're going?

"Yes, after all, my senses don't lie, love. It's just that our hero is moving a bit too fast, which in this situation, isn't good."

NEKOMARU: Hey, Chihiro and Monomi, could you check those monitors?

CHIHIRO: He's right...every so often a dot pops up, but as soon as it appears, it goes away.

MONOMI: And whenevwr I feel new hope, it fizzwles away.

SONIA:Truly, a problem!

GENOCIDER: Hey, what's that?

You and your party seemed to have come across a vendor's booth. On the counter is a note that says, "Gotta get supples, return soon~DO".

BYAKUYA: Well, what do you know? Someone's actually trying to scratch up a few hope shards in these conditions.

"I wonder what they sell...".

SONIA: Maybe homemade trinkets and knick-knacks?

GENOCIDER: Or maybe some sort of weaponry?

NEKOMARU: I SAY WE SHOULD STICK AROUND AND WAIT FOR THEIR RETURN!!

"I was thinking the same, Neko."

CHIHIRO: But...what if he's dangerous?

BYAKUYA: I doubt someone with malicious intent would leave a sign with their handwriting and a clue to their name.

You and your party decide to wait by the stand.....minutes pass....then an hour...eventually, everyone falls asleep. While the party is asleep, someone in a dark cloak appears.

???: Hmm? I was gone fer that long, huh?

They make their way to the back of the booth.

???: Well, I ain't makin' nothin' like this.

They proceed to whip out a large metal pan and a wooden spoon, and bang the two together tirelessly.

CLANGCLANGCLANGCLAGCLANGCLANGCLANG

???: RISE AN' SHINE, SLEEPIES!

Everyone, except Kiyotaka, wakes up in shock.

NEKOMARU: AHHHHHHHHHH!

???: Glad ta see yer all awake. Except fer that guy. Wha's with 'im?

"He...may or not be enchanted..."

???: Damn.

CHIHIRO: Are you the owner of this booth?

???: Yeah. Had ta make money somehow.

BYAKUYA: If you don't mind my asking, what is your..."business"?

MONDO: Kiyo?

KIYOTAKA: Yes...?

MONDO: Heh...Ya really like me huh?

KIYOTAKA: Yes...why does come as a surprise, Mondo?

MONDO: I uh...always thought ya'd see me as this troublemaker and a bad guy and-

KIYOTAKA: Mondo! You should not doubt me so much! I do have morals and a code, but I also have feelings.

CHIHIRO: Unlike someone...

BYAKUYA: My name is-

MONOMI: Mondo, Daiya, Kiyo! You must joiwn us!

SONIA: Ah, I just remembered! I'm gathering vessels of hope to fight the despair sisters!

Science Behind COVID – 19 Transmissions

With over 3 million cases and 200,000 deaths reported of SARC-CoV-2 a.k.a COVID – 19, several countries are forced to shut down and advised people to stay at home to contain the spread of the virus. While there is steady increase in cases, the World Health Organization and Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has issued several guidelines regarding hygiene for the novel coronavirus, among them “Social Distancing” is of vital importance. According to WHO, a person should stay at least 6 feet away from a person sneezing or coughing, hence as a thumb rule people are advised to stay 6 feet away from each other while going outside to buy groceries or otherwise. Let see the science behind this understanding, which will help us keep safe in much better way.

A violent exhalation such as coughing and sneezing from an infectious person is a vital mode of transmission for the novel coronavirus. Early study by Wells in 1955 has shown that the range of this violent exhalation from a healthy person is about 2.5 to 3 feet and hence a safe distance of 6 feet is recommended. This exhalation contains tiny droplets and a person in the vicinity can directly inhale these droplets to get infected. The other possibility is that these droplets can get settled on a surface from which a person can get infected after coming in contact with this surface. However the story doesn’t end here, according to Wells, the transmission will also depend on the size of the droplets. So when a person sneezes or coughs it generates different sizes of droplets, which in general are classified as small droplet and large droplet and these droplets carry the virus. Furthermore, it suggests that small droplets that come from the mouth in to the environment get evaporated leaving the virus attached to the aerosol (Aerosol are tiny particles that droplets gets attached) to get exposed in atmosphere and the large droplets tend to settle on the surface and this is dependent on the “Wells evaporation–falling curve”. So, the transmission of the virus only takes place due to these large droplets and not the small droplets. Hence, the novel coronavirus is classified as a “droplet transmission”.

Do large droplets evaporate at all?

The large droplets do not evaporate in atmosphere rather settle down on the surface mainly due to their weight against the air current. The evaporation of these droplets eventually also depends on the outside atmospheric conditions, hot and humid conditions quickly evaporate the droplets and much larger size droplets tend to settle on the surface. Nonetheless, these droplets settling on the surface also evaporate in atmosphere but will be smaller in size than it’s originally exhaled. These droplets can remain on the surface for much longer than in the air for the simple fact that there is Vander-Wals force of attraction (or adhesive force) and if these droplets are considered to have similar properties to water they can stay on the surface for more than an hour.

In an article in USA today Dr. Paul Meechan, a former director of safety at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, says that “Viruses can withstand a small amount of dehydration” furthermore he adds “The problem is knowing how long it will take a virus to dry out and become noninfectious". Most pathogens cannot survive outside the droplets, as pathogens come out of droplets they start to decay and eventually die. Early research on the novel coronavirus determined that it can stay up to 3 days on stainless steel and plastic until it completely dies. However, even knowing that may not possibly mean that it can be infectious. An article in Mayo Clinic Dr. James M. Steckelberg says that “the amount of virus deposited on a surface also determines how long viruses stay active (infectious) outside the body”. It is very difficult to answer these questions even in today’s time and hence; it is even unclear whether these surfaces are spreading infection. The Centre for Disease Control and Prevention goes on to say that the surface transmission of virus is not the main source of infection.

Whether Aerosol can transmit COVID – 19?

We have established that the smaller droplets that are exhaled get evaporated in atmosphere leaving the virus attached to aerosol exposed. These exposed aerosols are very light weight (<5 micrometer) and get carried away by the air current in the atmosphere and can travel larger distance, so does the virus. A research suggested that the novel coronavirus can remain viable on the aerosol up to three hours. It is been widely debated whether these aerosol carrying viruses can infect a person as seen in previous viruses such as chickenpox, measles or even tuberculosis. Josh Santarpia, a researcher who studies biological aerosols at the University of Nebraska Medical Centre has been able to take air sample from isolation rooms for COVID – 19 patients and found the genetic sample of the virus and added that the concentration of virus is very low. However, it brings to the older question how much virus is required on the aerosol. Researcher in China believed that a single person in the restaurant infected people sitting in other tables by air currents circulating in the room due to air conditioning Overall, many research suggest that it is more contagious indoors than outdoors owing to the fact that indoor lacks air currents. However, World Health Organization maintains its stand that there is in-sufficient evidence of aerosol transmission, for that further research is required to reach at any conclusions.

Why Does MIT Research say 27 feet?

Lydia Bourouiba, an associate professor at MIT, has researched the dynamics of exhalations (coughs and sneezes, for instance) for years at The Fluid Dynamics of Disease Transmission Laboratory and says it can travel upto 27 feet. Prof. Bourouiba disbelieves the two droplet model (dichotomy model). Prof. Bourouiba says that a cough or sneeze is characterized by a cloud of mucus which propels these droplets and all droplets travel the same distance due to the cloud. Her research suggests that these droplets then can evade evaporation for much longer time than the isolated drops which can increase its distance by a factor of 1000. However, if these droplets travel longer distance only smaller droplets will remain in picture.

Outdoor Exercise?

In a recent study, Belgian researchers conducted a computer simulation for walking and running around a second person. They could show from the simulation that the droplets can transfer to a second person at 1.5 m distance and beyond without considering the winds. With that the paper suggests to keep at least 5 meter distance if walking and 10 meter distance if running and side by side movement is more suitable.

Bottom line

In an article by USA today, A professor at University of Washington School of Medicine Dr. Paul Pottinger says that “For me, the question is not how far the germs can travel, but how far they can travel before they’re no longer a threat. The smaller the germ particles, the lower the risk that they might infect somebody”. Hence, even though the droplets could travel such a distance it is quite unlikely it remains infectious after certain distance.

Dr. Nicole Sharp a blogger at fyfluiddynamics.com says that “there’s a big disconnect right now between the medical/biological community and the engineering community. To truly capture the physics and biology of COVID-19 transmission requires the expertise and cooperation of both. Right now both sides are making potentially dangerous assertions”. Currently, the dynamics of the movement might be well known but the behavior of the pathogen has become mysterious.

I know you’re supposed to make your own ten at the end of this one, but I’m too lazy this round. Sorry.

1. What kind of genre do you like to write? Why?

My true love is and will always be Fantasy (with SciFi right behind). One of the biggest reasons is it allows me to write a bazillion different characters, and none of them have to be human.

Also, dragons. Naturally. ;)

2. Which do you like writing better, heroes or villains?

Oh definitely heroes. People get way more upset when you’re mean to them. :333 And the purehearted ones that just wanna do the right thing are so cute. What precious angels. 10/10, would ruin their lives and make them cry again.

I also tend to write super super outright horrible evil villains, and it’s just hard to like em. They're a bunch of mean, monstrous assholes with not a lot of redeeming qualities. The only time I really enjoy writing them is during their death scenes, or scenes where they get smacked down by a bigger bad lol

3. Do your characters have a favorite type of weather?

Well, sure, many do. SS loves snow, Victor loves the rain, Val and Vithmon adore hurricanes, Maika relates to Etak’s dust storms, Rewill likes it when it’s dead still/quiet, etc.

But I mean by this point I have so many different characters with different likes and dislikes that this question isn’t exactly on I can answer conclusively lol

4. Romantic or platonic relationships?

I enjoy writing both immensely. I just love giving my characters deep meaningful relationships, first and foremost. But I gotta say, letting them kiss and junk is 👌 👌 👌

5. Which OC of yours would you get along with best?

Uhh, well, there are very few of them to choose from since they’d all personally try to murder me with their bare hands, but...I’m inclined to say Sri Lok or Hadrian, but they get along with everyone. Going on current projects, I’ll say Rewill. He’s a cool dude. Grounded. Fun to talk to. Very open minded. 10/10 would have him piggy-back me across the space station.

6. Would you survive in your OCs’ world? Why or why not?

NOPE. DEFINITELY NOT. AS A HUMAN I AM WEAK AND SQUISHY AND IN A LAND FULL OF GODS AND DEMONS AND MONSTERS THAT IS NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO BE.

In the world Pryza takes place in, I’d probably have a better chance. But between alien takeovers, spacecraft sabotage, and general lack of safety regulations in the colonies, the odds would still be stacked against me lol. (Maybe if I lived on Earth there I’d be okay..)

7. What would you say is one of your “quirks” as a writer?

I’ll be real I wasn’t really sure how to answer this one as I’m bad at analyzing my own work in any way. So I asked a friend what they thought and got: “Sassy ass characters who are actually squishy inside.” I always have one of those. Always. (also a cinnamon roll. sometimes they are the same character.)

I also have a habit of splitting my books in two acts, the first being heavy in character building with an easy-going (even if action filled) plot, then hitting the second and cranking things up to max so that everyone is screaming and running and there’s chaos in the streets and are you sure this is the same book you’ve been reading????

Honestly idk, I see myself as a pretty bland, vanilla writer. I don’t think anything about my work really ~stands out~ enough to be considered a quirk. Is my quirk being typical and kinda forgettable?? It seems that way. *shrug*

8. Are there any writing “rules” that you break consistently? Ie commonly said rules that you just don’t follow?

“NEVER USE SAID/ADVERBS HURR DURR” is a “rule” I pretty proudly snub. But uhhh, not reeaalllyyy? I think that to some degree I follow the guidelines in place for my genre/style/intention.

That said there’s only one rule I follow completely and that is “there are no rules”

9. What does “show don’t tell” mean to you?

This one is kind of a poster child of “poorly given writing advice” to me. Because the way it’s given, people take it outright and turn around to scream “TELLING IS ALWAYS BAD!!” when that’s not what’s intended, exactly? You can’t put definites on the arts. It goes against everything they are.

To me it’s just a warning to not deliver the entire story as a sequence of action inputs in a text adventure game. You gotta lean into description where it fits, and be blunt where it’s called for. It’s a very contextual thing that you gotta play by ear.

I realize this barely answers the question but that’s because “show don’t tell” doesn’t really mean ANYTHING to me. It’s an incomplete statement that leaves so much unspoken that it’s left essentially worthless.

10. Post a recent snippet of your writing. Do you like it?

“For what it is worth, I am sorry you had to pay the price for my mistake,” Meecha said. I peeked back to see the pair regarding one another with rigid expressions. Finally, Reegil swallowed and bowed his head.

“You took responsibility, as you said. Our payments were the same in the end,” he replied. Chewing my lip, I pushed myself to stop eavesdropping and moved onward as his final words crept into my ears with ominous weight. “I only hope you are not forced to pay it again.”

It’s aight. I think it carries the impact I want it to, and that’s all I can really ask of it. ;o

Fav Tangled Char?

I mean Hector is like number one because he's just such a cool character with so much to him that was unexplored. I also adore Adira because she's just such a queen. I'll give a special shout out to Ruthless Ruth because she is awesome as well and her song is amazing.

Least Fav Char?

I'd have to say Willow. To my defense, it's because I have a sister like her and seeing how she acted in the episode just drove me nuts. She does have a good moment at the end, but overall I just have a personal dislike for her.

Moonstone or Sundrop?

Gotta go with Moonstone. I'm more of a moon person anyways, but again it's so unexplored and has so much we don't know about it. It intrigues me so.

Fav Season?

Season 2 for sure. I liked that it had more wacky adventures and of course Hector and Adira. I also liked to see how Raps and Cass started to become distant (although it was sad to me) and how that unfolded.

Something you wish had happened in the series?

Broken record here but just more Brotherhood stuff! Seeing them interact? Or just more about the Dark Kingdom in general. I hated that they introduced this whole other kingdom and didn't give us much about them at all! I also wished they would have given us some better maps of the whole continent with all the kingdoms. I love stuff like that!

Another Show you'd like to see have a cross over with Tangled?

Oooh this is a hard one...I've been re-watching Avatar the Last Airbender and that would be a great crossover to me.

#1 Animal companion?

I love the bearcats and rhino, but Pascal has always had my heart from the movie. I'd say he's my number one, then the bearcats and rhino.

Fav AU?

I have a few favs, but my top ones are where Hector takes Varian in after Quirin is encased in the amber and the one where Varian is encased instead of Quirin and Quirin has a dark streak.

Character you think should have interacted at all or more?

The big one for me was more Brotherhood interactions!!!! I would have loved to see Adira and Hector talk to Quirin. Another I've always wanted to see is what Hector would have thought about Andrew and his cause with the Saporians. I feel they have a lot of similarities.

Would you marry anyone in the Tangled world?

I mean I am completely happily married currently haha, but I'd have to say probably Adira or Lance. As much as I love Hector, he's got A LOT of baggage and emotional stuff going on (as do I XD). I don't think we'd be that compatible or good for one another.

Fav Char outfit?

I really liked Raps dress in season 3. I've always found it super cute and I love the neck line area (whatever that's called). A special shout out to her coronation dress, because that was just a beautiful piece of work!

Least fav char outfit?

I've never liked Eugene's outfit in Before Happily Ever After (he also wears it a few times in season 2 I believe). It was just so plain to me and I feel they could have done a little more with it.

Random Tangled Headcanon you have?

I had one about the Brotherhood all knowing how to pick locks and still really stand by it haha. One I recently came up with is when Cass has Adira and Hector with the Mindtrap that she would try and get them to do as she said without using it as like a power move over them.

Movie or series?

I gotta say the movie. It's been my fav Disney film since it came out and was the first Disney movie to make me cry (other than when I was like really little).

Favorite Tangled Fanfic?

Ooh there are so many! I do love your Incarnate fic its pretty good. I'll admit I haven't read a lot of TTS fics. I can think of a few Brotherhood fics but I cannot find where they are. If you want them I can dig deeper and find them, but at the moment I can't find them.

When did you join the fandom?

I started watching TTS in the winter of 2021. I was super late into the fandom sadly. I still wish I had been there in the beginning to be there for everything. Admittedly, I remember when this show was first coming out, but I was working full time and in school so it was low on my list of priorities and eventually forgotten.

Which char do you relate to the most?

The two that really come to mind are Lance and King Fredric. Lance, because I have the urges to talk myself up (like he did with Adira baha), but also his desire to have a family. King Fredric is a char I know gets a lot of hate, but I really connected with him at the end of season 1 when he feels like a failure for losing Raps as a baby. I really felt that as a parent myself that sometimes we want to make certain decisions that are very harsh, but come from a place of genuine fear and concern for those we love. Its a very real thing that can be a big obstacle to overcome. Maybe I am too soft hearted about it, but that really struck a chord with me.

A big opinion you have related to the Tangle movie/series?

Cass should have had a whole extra season with the Moonstone and exploring it's powers. Also for her to really show her emotions and how she felt about her treatment. She wasn't mean enough in my opinion.

I gotta say Hector. He's just such a complicated character and I love how he is an antagonist (not a bad guy!). Plus his undying loyalty and unique character design are other great qualities of him as well!

I HC Quirin is the oldest simply because he seems the most mature to me.

I HC that Hector is the youngest, but only by like a year. I don't really have a specific reason why, just my gut feeling.

Ooh, this is a hard one...I would think some kind of bird. I imagine she'd like a companion that could travel easily with her, but can also be independent without her.

Some post series HC's I have are Hector, Adira, & Quirin having a good moment together (having lived through that finale!). Also that Quirin and Varian visit the DK frequently to help them out and visit their family. Also Edmund finally having a good talk with the Brotherhood and expressing his gratitude to them.

Pre series HC's would be Hector having a partner he was dedicated to, but left for his assignment to the Great Tree. It's just something I can see him doing and I like the angst of it haha.

I HC that the Brotherhood met as orphans that got trained. They all had talents as warriors so they got promoted to the Brotherhood.

In my fic I've named Hector's bear cats Nyx and Delia. For reference, Delia is the nicer of the two (and the one that let Shorty on her back on the Great Tree episodes) and Nyx is more defensive and harder to befriend.

I think all three of the Brotherhood have dated each other at some point. Also that them being an OT3 is a big possibility.

I do think they should continue the Brotherhood, but change their purpose. Until the DK is restored, they need an elite force to help out with getting the DK back on its feet. After that it could be more of a ceremonial thing or a way to pass down traditions rather than be an actual fighting force.

Honestly ANYTHING. I'm still upset they hardly interacted with one another. -.-

Soon after I finished the series. When I started looking for fanart I found Pennumbra, Mo, & Xannerz's art and it was all downhill from there.

I really like a lot of Pennumbra's HC's about Hector, especially from his time in the Great Tree. Just the idea of him being out like that and alone for so long and how it would have affected him. It really fascinates me. Specifically, after getting back to civilization how he would struggle to eat sweets or anything with a lot of flavor.

I'd have to say the eyes.

I really like plant and floral motifs. They are just so pretty!

Eh a lot of traditional supplies haha. Lots of pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpeners (I always lose them on the ground and then end up stepping on them!). Luckily nothing super expensive (yet).

19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)?

I'll give two answers because I'm not sure my first counts as an inanimate object? I really like doing art that is related/similar to tribal tattoo designs. After that I love to draw food stuff.

20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy?

Tbh, I've come to love drawing Hector's nose. It's still difficult, but I've come to love the process of getting it down. (Now that I said that I'm cursed to hate it/struggle to draw it forever now!)

25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by?

...this is a touchy one for me....

I attempted to draw the TMNT 2012 turtles back in the day and posted it to my DeviantArt account. I had multiple people ask why I drew them so feminine. I still get upset when I think about it to this day. 😓

26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended?

I don't think I've gotten this on my art before (unless you could the incident from the last question 🤣). I have on my writing, but that's easy to do.

27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with?

Honestly not really. I should warm up and rarely have I done it. On that rare occasion, I will just try to sketch out poses since that is one of my big struggles.

29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically?

Realistic art. People that make an art piece look like a frickin' photograph. Its so amazing, but doesn't inspire me because I feel I will never get to that level of artistry.

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated?

If I'm being honest, my recent HectorxCass art (that is marked suggestive because it is). I just loved how Moon Cass turned out in it and the showpiece that is Hector baha. I'm still very proud of it.
