Perhaps I want you to answer my knocking. PERHAPS, even, I've already opened the door and I'm letting you inside. Anyway YEAH I do think something like that was going on. For me the MF seems to have control over Billy for the most part and Henry his controlling Heather. Billy plays a more active role and Heather sort of asissts here and there and the reason for this is I'm thinking back on Vecna saying he needed to get Elevens power, and the whole idea that this point he couldn't operate at full capacity. I think possession of Billy switched to Henry when the MF and Henry decided it was "Time" and merged the flayed (including Heather) into the Spider monster, which the MF then took control over and went after Eleven, with Henry taking control over Billy to help. Also with Karen I find it kind of interesting how like vicious the MF seems to be toward the Wheelers. Like its not just Karen, its Nancy too RE: Vecna particularly seeking her out. The closest Vecna really comes to actually taunting someone without a ''good'' reason for it so to speak is Nancy, and also the guys from the Hawkins post after theyre possessed by the MF are particularly nasty and particularly set on attacking Nancy, even after they merge into a thing inspired flesh monstrosity. And I think this goes back actually to Mike in season 2 because Mike is the first one who figures out Will was possessed. Like, the MF and also Henry are both shown to be pretty vindictive and their shared Wheeler hate Boner might go back to there. We saw that when the MF got mad that its underground feeding spot was burned, it literally used Will to orchestrate a whole trap to kill as many of the people responsible as possible which is how Mike figured Will out and how the MF originally was exposed to everyone. Mike is the one to blame for that.
