first off i wanna say that i actually dont have that many mutuals LMFAO i only just recently (in the last uhhh three or four months, over the course of this blog which has been around for going on 2 yrs) started rlly putting effort into reaching out and making mutuals. im also only including "true" mutuals here, people who I mostly interact with on tumblr and not through discord, bc shout-out to @venexus @tay-is-writing @scotchtapehanta and @myherowritings yall r some of my bestest friends but we're not close bc we're tumblr mutuals! we're tumblr mutuals bc we became close through discord beforehand, and thats a big difference imo. also i wanna note that this is in chronological order! and i wanna say most of these blogs r 18+ because that's the content i tend to consume, so please please please respect their policies wrt interaction.

but i do wanna put out here..... theres a strange result from mutual culture where it feels like EVERYONE involved looks at everyone else and thinks to themselves "theyre all closer to each other than i am, they're doing it differently and im not doing it right" and that feeling sucks. it rlly does. so i guess one of the reasons im tagging people im not super close to is to reassure people looking at this that like....... im still figuring this shit out too. interpersonal relationships are fucking HARD, ya girl is autistic she KNOWS, so like. take it one step at a time and try not to compare the way you're feeling to the way other blogs project themselves—you dont really know what goes on behind the scenes, how much anyone truly talks to anyone else in DMs or otherwise. these are blogs! you're not seeing every aspect of anybody!

spend time with animals if u can! this can look different depeneding on ur situation but maybe u have a pet or a friends pet? or just go buy some bird seed and leave it outside ur window for ur bird friends! find a crow and feed them a shelled, organic, unsalted peanut! maybe go on a walk and smile to urself when u see a cute dog? either way, ime, animal interaction makes me feel magical
in the same vein, go outside! if u can! this can literally look like going outside ur door where there is one single tree and puddles and mud and gravel but u can spend time with the tree and tell it hello and hang out and try to meet the spirits that inhabit the area around u ! try to give offerings to the earth when u go outside! try to pick up litter and tell the earth you love her
on the same note, talk to the moon and tell her about ur day and how much you love her! spend time hanging out near a window at night with the moon and stars and a cup of tea and ur thoughts and maybe some music and a candle
yes candles are so good i highly reccomend :) i particularly like vanilla scented candles so maybe get one of those? or one of whatever scent u like!
find music/podcasts u like and play them all the time! i find my day and life feels a lot better when i have media that i like around me

i love glitter like body and face glitter! try to get a enviornmentally sound one! but one i love is (again, sorry) from lush its called Fairy dust and its pink and sparkly and smells like bubblegum and is so nice (i cant find it online but maybe u can find it in store)? they have lots of nice powders, like i have another one from them that is lavander and sparkly and ill put it in my bed before i sleep and wake up smelling rally nice.. barring that just take some cornstarch and lavander essential oil and make ur own :)
make art! whatever that means to u! dont care if it “looks good” because art is about the feelings u have while u make it i think!
try to do mental health work! whatever that means to u. I like therapy and meds and The Mental Illness Happy Hour podcast
i like to journal but im bad at it but if u just keep a note book and keep stuff in it like ticket stubs and recipets and stuff its cool to look back on so take pics or write stuff down bc u will probably like to look back on this time as memories in the future

venom as i expected i rlly enjoyed immediately, we know im absolutely whipped for felix so i loooved the number of lines he got in that track, the hook in particular (literally just spiderweb repeated over and over ksnfjka i am a simple gal) was rlly cool and the percussion sorta clicking things scratched an itch in the back of my brain. im waiting for a spiderman edit to be done with it lol
maniac on the other hand took until maybe my fourth listen before i rlly started getting into the whole thing, i liked specific bits but it wasnt until i watched some of their performances that i got really into it. im lowkey obsessed with channies starting part and the prechorus dance (with changbin and then felix second time round) is so addictive. hyunjin as always went absolute insane with the choreo and his red hair is my life, i just *know* red hyunjin pcs are gonna be expensive
charmer is my fave track on the whole album honestly its got a different vibe to their old album tracks but i love it so much idk why. i didnt even pick it when the teaser mashup came out but it really stood out to me. the whistle, hans beginning rap, channies vocals everything just clicked. i personally found it amazing
freeze, tbh idk what i was expecting, i enjoyed it but something was jsut a little off maybe. in any other album i think it would have been amazing but venom and charmer trumped it for me (its my brother's favourite track lol) having said that, the trailer is my life and i need either for it to be made into an mv with a storyline or for someone to cast hyunjinnie in a drama as some kinda hot villain bcos good lord when he put that g*n to his head 😳
lonely street confused me when i first listened to it because the trailer made me think its was gonna have gone away vibes, another soft heartbreaky song but it was definitely not that. i did enjoy it, but it didnt really stand out to me enormously. i think it is my father's favourite track tho, he liked the rhyme of desolated and isolated haha
waiting for us my beloved that shit slapped. idk what it is with seungmin and channies and hard hitting ballads but they went hard with that one. i am obsessed with lino's strong vocals i wish they would use them more, hes got such a beautiful voice. the whole song has childhood friend vibes and tbh i love it. i cnat wait till it gets snapped up as an ost (can dramas use existing songs? idk but they should)
muddy water what the actual hell was that. like it wasnt a bad song but it was so bizarre? the combination of jazzy piano vibes and strong rap just messed with my head a little. it always confuses me when i put it on so idk. ive heard people like it tho
overall the album was so addictive and i really enjoyed it, even tho it was a shift from what i see as the tone of not only the i am era and other early skz but also in life/go live era. it sorta fit with noeasy better but also it was so different. i love to see skz challenging themselves with new feels for songs so while it wasnt what i expected i did like this comeback overall. i like how theyve stuck with a consistent concept as well noeasy was a little all over the place as much as i loved it, but oddinary seems to have its shit together

so far, school has been good. i'm actually balancing things okay despite the influx of schoolwork.
venom - personally i thought felix carried this album HWHAHA and not just venom. a lot of people i didn't expect ended up liking venom so there's that. i do agree it has a hook that gets easily stuck in your brain (it's stuck in mine LMFAO and i don't even like the song that much). i haven't seen any spiderman edits yet, will be looking forward to it.
maniac - i do not like maniac or i think it would require a few more listens. for now, i think it's just an average track that i would listen to if it comes up on the queue but not by choice. in this track, i was particularly drawn to changbin x.x i think red hj pics are selling at 5.5 on yangdo if i saw that correctly earlier.
charmer - THE LITERAL LOVE OF MY LIFE. idt it carries the same vibe as old album tracks (bc i personally didn't like those wheeze) but it really is a great track. whenever i open oddinary, i start with this. *non-existent ass shaking*
and this is where i stopped listening to the tracks during my first listen.
freeze - freeze has a similar vibe to ateez' to the beat so i was kind of shocked to hear smth like it here. i'm sure it'd be great for a club outing or smth chan enjoyed making but it's def not for me kdjsfl it was named differently in the trailer, correct? i'm waiting to see what the mv serves for this. speaking of, do you think any of the boys would end up acting someday?

muddy water - still haven't listened to this in full so idk what to comment. i can't make it past the first verse, i just end up skipping or picking charmer again. not their fault, just preference. i've heard people liking it too! irls specifically so i really think it just boils down to preference.
the only thing that makes me happy abt this album is i'm sure that skz were challenging themselves and experimenting instead of sticking to the sound that made them a hit. i still personally prefer inlife and noeasy over this but there's not much to nitpick over a mini-album?? i think they're releasing their 3rd album later this year so there's still that to look forward to. i did not like this album's concept T_T idk if it's just the lack of color coordination between members or smth else. i'm just not a fan T_T HAJHS

hey bird! me and my datefriend of 2 years are planning to finally go see eachother in person at some point in the next year or two, i'm probably going to visit them during the holidays and stay with them for a while! i was wondering since you've visited gigi a couple of times now, do u have any advice??? were u ever nervous about having to catch a plane by urself or anything like that? sorry if this is kinda personal and u don't want to answer! feel free to ignore this if u want :O

WELL ive never been scared of airplane rides, so that wasnt an issue!!! when i lived on the beach i actually rode in a biplane and the dude flying it turned the plane completely upside down so. a commercial airplane didnt scare me...
being along on that journey was nerve wracking at parts, but i knew i was going home to my beloved darling gigi, so it eased my nerves almost entirely!!!! then again, everyones different. be sure to bring earbuds if youre worried about being nervous or panicking or anything, it really helps!!! download some of ur favorite jams or bring a game console or somethin for the plane ride if you want a distraction!!!
when it comes to actually being IN an airport, theres a few things to consider!!! make sure ur baggage is all the right size and everything, youre within the limit for the amount of liquids they allow, etc etc. but dont be scared to ask the workers there for help or directions!!!! i kept getting lost in the big busy airport in chicago and the nice worker man who was cleaning up told me where to go n save me lotsa trouble!!!
bring hand sanitizer too. you dont wanna be getting sick from so many peoples germs right before you go see ur datefriend!!!! gigi actually caught a cold while i was there the last visit.. i dont know how i didnt end up getting sick too bc i still smooched them and was attached to the them the whole time... i guess i got lucky!!!!
make sure you pay attention to the times for the planes departure and whatnot!!!! you need to be in the little waiting area for your plane 30 minutes before what the departure time is listed as to make sure you get on board. (also side note: window seats are FUCKIN SWEET and i highly reccomend them if u wanna see some beautiful clouds n whatnot!!!!!) going home from my last visit i was only able to board the plane because they were de-icing it... i was late and they only opened the doors back up for me bc im a minor so please make sure ur on time for stuff!!!! its super important!!!!
as far as being nervous, of COURSE i was nervous!!! i mean, this is the most perfect person in the whole world in my eyes, so i didnt wanna mess up or anything, even though i knew that the chances of that were little to none... its a very surreal experience seeing your datefriend for the first time in person after only seeing pictures and videos or whatever. its sososo nice!!!!! it felt like a dream come true for me!!!!!! then again, gigi is a dream come true!!!!!!!
try not to be too nervous about it!!!! i know thats easier said than done, but they love you dearly and they love who you are!!!! all you gotta do is just be ur Gay Self and i guarantee itll all go just fine!!!!!! and as far as pda and stuff, i highly encourage holding hands in public if circumstances allow!!!!!!! i dunno about you but holding hands with gigi when going to stores and stuff was really nice, because i always get anxious around so many people... ill add onto this if i think of more!!!! lmk if i can help w more stuff!!!!!!! :D
