Hah. Aww, well thank you very much, Anon! And I am so very much in agreement with you. It’s funny...normally I absolutely cannot stand it when men act possessive, but when Michael does it, I straight up swoon. I think what I particularly love about how he’s possessive with David is that he doesn’t come across like he owns him, but rather that he is protecting him.

I can so easily see Michael going into overprotective boyfriend mode the second anyone says something mean about David. The sort of thing where one moment he’s all Michael “Light and Fluffy” Sheen, and then someone insults David or makes David sad and a switch flips and suddenly he’s Michael “Feral and Pissed Off” Sheen. And it’s not like he doesn’t think David can take care of himself, nor would he emasculate him...he would just be this growling Welsh sheepdog ready to pounce on anyone who dares to hurt the man he loves.

(For the record, I do think Michael is that way with everyone he loves and cares about. But there’s something super special and delightful about him being that way with David.)

I’ve actually had a fantasy about Michael being possessive over David, which I’ve mentioned on this blog previously, when they were on Graham Norton back in December (so it involves them wearing those Christmas sweaters they had on for the show):

In the fantasy, Michael and David are guests at a holiday party, and David is standing under the mistletoe playing a game: His wrists are tied behind his back, and anyone who's interested can walk up and kiss him. Women, men--sometimes one of each at the same time--come for a taste, taking what they please. Michael notices people gathering and a pang of jealousy surges in his chest when he sees David at the center. They make eye contact for a brief moment, both knowing what the other wants without saying it. Michael strides over, parting the crowd. He slides his hands under the hem of David’s sweater, fingertips digging into those slim hips, and smirks, roughly pulling him close for a bruising, possessive kiss. Michael unties David's wrists and slides them around his waist under the back of his own red sweater, letting everyone in the room know exactly who David belongs to...and who gets to touch him.

 ...So, yes, I am definitely with you in agreeing that possessive!Michael is a turn on. Hopefully we’ll get to see a little more of that once the filming of GO 2 starts, and then of course the press tour. I rather can’t wait...
