Feeling overwhelmed by daily grind? Want to improve your focus & achieve your goals ?
Mindfulness is the key!
Here are some ways that works for me .
1️⃣ Start the day with a mindful minute. Instead of reaching for your phone, take a few deep breaths. Notice the things & sounds around you . (makes you appreciate life)
2️⃣ Breathe your way to focus. This age old technique never fails & is a powerhouse. Throughout the day with so many emotions running through us .. imagine the stress on your facial muscles. Pause for few breaths . Close your eyes & soften your facial muscles & soften your gaze ! (It really helps )
3️⃣ Transform the ordinary into extraordinary by engaging your five senses . Start with your day with your coffee - feel the warmth of the cup in your hands, the aroma . When eating , focus on the taste & textures of the food. (you’ll enjoy it more)
4️⃣ Mindfulness isn’t about siting still. Become aware of your body during any activity. Like feeling the ground beneath your feet as you walk or focus on the sensation in your muscles during exercise. (you’ll realise you can do more)
5️⃣ Schedule regular “mindfulness minutes” like you would with any other appointment. Even 10 minutes a day can make a difference. Find a time that suits you - morning or evening . (it’s your “me-time)
There are so many ways we can cultivate mindfulness .. the above is just a start !
Keep practicing , be kind to yourself and notice the positive changes unfold.
