Things we found out from tonight's Twitter spree with the Vancouver paps.

- Melwood has part of the day off tomorrow - Cat Grant will be seen again in season 2 - Maggie and Lillian share a scene in 2x21 - Sanvers fight crime and Daxamites together (2x21) - Rhea and Lena have scenes together and so do Lena and Mon-El - The Lena/Mon-El scenes create tension with Kara - Lena and Mon-El do not save Kara together -Lena doesn’t like Mon-El - There is a “Villainous” prearranged marriage that is halted before is started. Regarding the marraige, I tweeted the pap who posted about it asking wether or not it was Lena and Mon-El and they replied like this: 💍💍🎉🎉🥂🥂

Who is the problem? YOU are. (not you, just the Chris Wood fans).

Chris Wood fan: I just love Karamel. I don’t watch Supergirl and really only recently started watched a few things on youtube that someone recommended or gifsets that one of my mutuals made, but I am a huge Chris Wood fan and I support him in whatever he is in, whatever he does, whoever he is dating etc (times infinity).

See, this simultaneously confuses and annoys me. But I think it adds much needed clarity into the ongoing internecine shipwar conflicts.

Fans who religiously support and defend an onscreen relationship while admittedly never watching the show it is based in. These fans arguably do not appreciate, relate or empathise with likely 99% of the opposing sides POV. If you never saw S1 then it is safe to say that you can’t comprehend why fans are upset with how S2 was written, acted, and so on. If you only watched the back end of S2 you don’t fully appreciate how far the season deteriorated from the first 2-3 episodes that were so promising. If you came into this fandom late with a build in prejudice towards one newly added actor only then it must be hard for you to relate to what other people are seeing. 

No wonder you are so defensive and perceive that ANY criticism of Mon-el or Karamel is misguided and undeserving. 

If you want to enjoy your ship without context or consequences please continue to do so, I hope you are happy and finding joy where you can. Please maybe simmer down on the SM drama until you have a fully informed opinion. You’ll be happier, we’ll be happier, and we can all just take what we need from this show.

So I was thinking, some time ago I used photoshop A LOT every single day, every single hour of the day I used photoshop to make something, anything; and now I'm a little more like... rusty? And the first solution that came to my mind was: “hey let’s make something good out of it” and now I’m here offering you this service.

What’s the idea?

Just like this sounds I want to make a cover for your Karamel story (it can be a long fic or a simple one-shot)

Why?

Because I want to practice a little in photoshop and I feel like I haven’t given anything to this family, and hey... That makes me feel bad =(.

Ok, what do you need?

Super simple things:

Link to your story (if you haven't published it yet, just a simple summary is ok): because I want to understand what it’s the fic about.

An Idea: I mean yes, that.

A picture you think would work for your cover: It can be a photo, a stock, a scene, a screen capture, I only ask it to be a good resolution, what is a good resolution? 1000x1000 px.

The cover of a book you really love: because I want to know about you as well, what’s your style, what do you like... That’s is super important.

If you want to send me a color palette that’s ok too, you can find some really beautiful palettes here and here but if you don’t want, that’s ok too.

Why are antis tagging posts as 'Mon-El Defence Squad' and 'Chris Wood Defence Squad'?

Is it just to deliberately stir up trouble? That seems unnecessarily mean considering people go into the tags they like to see positivity/meta/fan works, not long posts about how much you hate characters (or actors; but I haven't got the energy to deal with that idiocy again).
