Rabbit of Caerbannog
by Hope Doe
Sumi and Watercolor on Arches watercolor paper
The killer rabbit sleeps with the bones of it’s victims. Though it is tasked to protect the cave, it relishes in each and every kill in it’s fluffy cute nature.
Recently watched Monty Python’s Holy Grail and couldn’t help myself.

Month of Fear 2019 - Monsters Above
Look at those gorgeously dressed old white men at the top of the foodchain. They're probably thinking benevolent things about us below. How to trickle down their riches so we too can profit from their good fortunes in a finite system. If we're not up there with them, we must not want to; it's certainly not for lack of opportunity, if we only worked hard enough.
I've been feeling like political art lately - I've always followed the news but rarely thought I could add anything as an artist. My greatest challenge probably is that I seriously don't want to offend anyone but simply express my thoughts on the matter. I am a person who starts every answer with "It depends". Because it does.
It's my second Month of Fear. You can find my website at http://www.jsl-art.de and most of my art on my dA and/or Artstation, https://ranarh.deviantart.com/ and https://www.artstation.com/ranarh

‘The Scapegoat’ Watercolors on paper “The world is full of monsters with friendly faces, and angels with scars.”- Heather Brewer Done for Month of Fear prompt: Monsters without. During the witch trials, it was not uncommon for alleged witches to be stripped and searched for telling marks of their deviousness, often called a witch or devil’s teat. Such marks included any raised bump on the body like a wart, skin tag, mole, boil, cyst, or discolored splotches such as freckles, beauty marks, or birth marks. #monthoffear #monthoffear2019 #monsters #witches #witchhunt #puritan #salem #salemwitchtrials #watercolors #monochromatic https://www.instagram.com/p/B3tJdZSDLJd/?igshid=43j8723c21h3
