i have decided that gale reads to the group before bed in camp. it starts with only tav and karlach and then wyll and halsin, because everyone else is too cool and aloof but shadowheart eventually gets curious "just because it's a story about shar, of course" and then astarion starts bitching about feeling left out and bored so he joins and lae'zel is the last one who, after prowling around the group in circles "in case of danger approaching while all of you are being ridiculous", finally settles down next to shadowheart with a grumpy 'tchk'
