The year of the mouse
Judging from my own experience, I suspected this might be a banner year for mouse-trap sales. So far this month, I’ve removed three mice from our pole barn, five from our garage and four from our cottage.
Sure enough, I found several stories on the Internet that suggest the rodents aren’t picking on me alone. Their population is booming due to - you guessed it - climate change.
According to rodentologists (yes, that’s a real title) recent warmer winters have allowed for longer breeding seasons. Also wildfires and floods have forced rodent relocation.
Add those factors to the natural inclination of rodents to move indoors when the weather turns cold and you have a sure-fire recipe for human-mouse conflict.

A Mouse In the House
My experience is that there is nothing more dangerous for a man than a mouse in the house. Last evening, I returned from the regular Tuesday Stray Bar WIne club and was immediately confronted by Lovely to inform me of an intruder. It is Fall in the Midwest, and the temperature often drops below freezing at night. The vast network of wild creatures seek comfort in the heat. The frogs sink to the…

I’m not sure if this phone call from Commercial Employers was in a response to one of the myriad of jobs I’ve applied to (because so many jobs that are advertised as available, are actually being handled by a third party or staffing agency) or maybe they reached out to me because I’m in their database. Either way it’ll be good to present my work and myself to someone that could offer me…

The Rodent Control Tools Used by Saqer Al Madeena
Rodents pose a serious threat to homes and businesses, causing property damage and spreading diseases. At Saqer Al Madeena Pest Control Services, we recognize the importance of effective rodent control. To combat these troublesome pests, we employ a range of tools and techniques. This article will delve into the rodent control tools we use, such as Mouse Traps, rodent glue traps, and more.
The Necessity of Rodent Control
Effective rodent control is essential to safeguarding homes and businesses from rodent-related damage and health risks. These pests can contaminate food, damage structures, and spread diseases. Therefore, implementing robust rodent control measures is crucial for maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Our Rodent Control Tools at Saqer Al Madeena Pest Control Services:
Mouse Traps
The traditional Mouse Traps remains one of the most common and effective tools in rodent control. At Saqer Al Madeena Pest Control Services, we employ different types of mouse traps based on the specific situation. Snap traps are widely used, featuring a spring-loaded mechanism that swiftly and humanely exterminates mice when triggered.
Electronic Traps
In our quest for innovative solutions, we also utilize electronic traps. These traps attract rodents with bait and deliver a quick electric shock when the rodent enters the trap. This method ensures humane and efficient extermination without the mess associated with traditional traps, making electronic traps highly effective in controlling rodent populations.
Bait Stations
Bait stations are another critical tool in our rodent control arsenal. These stations contain bait that attracts rodents, enticing them to enter and consume the poisoned bait. The bait is carefully selected to entice rodents while posing minimal risk to non-target species. Furthermore, bait stations are designed to protect the bait from weather conditions and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Rodent Glue Traps
Our toolkit also includes Rodent Glue Traps. These traps are coated with a sticky adhesive that traps rodents when they step on them. Once stuck, the rodents are unable to escape. Glue traps are effective for capturing mice and rats alive, especially in areas where poisons or snap traps may pose a risk.
Sealing and Exclusion
In addition to traps and bait stations, we prioritize sealing and exclusion techniques. Rodents can infiltrate buildings through small cracks and openings, making sealing these entry points crucial in preventing infestations. Our team conducts thorough inspections to identify potential entry points and then employs materials like caulk, steel wool, and wire mesh to seal them off effectively.
Effective rodent control necessitates a tailored approach using a combination of tools and techniques. At Saqer Al Madeena Pest Control Services, we utilize various rodent control tools, including mouse traps, rodent glue traps, electronic traps, and bait stations. Our focus on sealing and exclusion methods ensures rodents are prevented from entering buildings.
With these comprehensive and long-lasting rodent control solutions, Saqer Al Madeena Pest Control Services aims to bid farewell to rodents and create a pest-free environment. In case you were lookin for a Humane Mouse Trap I bought these off of Amazon. You get two of these traps for $10.99. I placed one downstairs and one upstairs. Now we’ll see if they work.
Here’s what they really look like (yes, they’re blue and made out of plastic):
