This is my version of Sailor Jupiter, drawing her like a centauress goddess of thunder. I wanted to give her a badass look without forgetting her beautiful feminine traits. Her fuku is very minimal and revealing (just like the centauresses were meant to be on the original movie) and the 'horse part' of her body is a bit inspired by classical my little pony designs. I am a self-taught illustrator recovering from years of mental illness and an absence of self-esteem in my body, so I have a long way to go and get good at drawing. But I love the result and also my previous works and will redraw this character soon.
The launch event of Naoko's 13th single, Escalation and her 6th studio album, Sky Park. It was held on the rooftop of Tenjin Park in Fukuoka Prefecture.
After being left in my upload folder for a couple of weeks, it is finally time to upload this painting. Although I'm glad it took this long because as I was getting ready to upload I noticed that the cup was a bit wonky in the opening. After fixing that I felt it was a good enough time to add some steam to the cup. After a long while, this time I decided to paint it in an 80s anime style.
Miki is SOOOOOO much worse than Naoko. Like.. SO much worse. Especially in the manga.
In the manga, Naoko redeems herself somewhat. She’s able to hang around Shoko without being absolutely horrible to her and she’s somewhat in the friendgroup.
Miki, on the other hand, NEVER made up for the shit she did. She never even acknowledged it. Like her lying about a girl bullying her by looking at her messages and the classroom scene.. UGHHHHH. The scene where Shoya politely pulls her aside and asks if she’s been spreading rumors about him and she exposes him and his past to ALL of his friends. She’s a class S narcissist!!
