we met when we were both in bad places mentally & personally speaking, nat saved my life more than she really knows

we got close reeeaally quickly because we had the same interests and what not. and i was crushing hard she had me giggling and kicking my feet almost every hour of the day (still does...)

BUT she had a girlfriend at the time. and god help me because i was falling in love with someone i couldnt have

and then we get to APRIL. on the 10th of april i wake up, and im unfriended on everything and we dont talk at all, im miserable all day blah blah AND THEN SHE TEXTS ME

"i dont think we should be friends because it makes my girlfriend uncomfortable" UMMM........ ok. and then i proceed to cry for three days straight. i dont eat, i cry myself to sleep, i r*lapse. very theatrical of me but i was heartbroken

but through the tears i was lowkey whoring myself to other girls, which is when i found my now ex. but i just wanted someone to fill the void nat left (didnt work)

SHE EVENTUALLY COMES BACK, and we're friends again. she is still with her girlfriend and i am talking to like... 7 different women AND men i mean i was really slutting it out

eventually i get with my now ex but i am anything but loyal (shoot me I KNOW.) i was still flirting with other people and MORE, just searching for someone that reminded me of nat in even the slightest. but none of them were her

SEVEN MONTHS GO BY. im in a relationship but also actively fucking around with other ppl, nat and her gf BREAK UP. oh im pissed because now she enters her playboy era and is flirting with every girl that breathes and then shes telling ME about it

and i am mad as hell, i start taking it out on MY girlfriend. just causing conflict and tension to get the jealousy out of my system which i know is bad you dont have to tell me. am i sorry? not really

17TH OF NOVEMBER. nat decides to confess she used to like me when she was with her girlfriend, and she was falling in love with me. AND IM LIKE???? WHAT! it just flips my world over and of course i tell her that i felt the same, (both of us failing to mention that we were still in love...)

and literally the day after this happens, my girlfriend finds out this. now i had previously told her that i had never been in love before, a lie but i love to lie. so obviously she is real upset and breaks up with me

and i jump on nat's dick like... IMMEDIATELY. i ditch all my fuck buddies, my attention just fully on her. and we start flirting a LOT and its so cute theres so much tension and things we both know but dont say omg it was so fun

and finally FINALLY she asks me to be her girlfriend and i very happily say yes!

moral of the story i will do anything for my girl

I drew Natcatcosplay and James Charles from their Instagrams. This is from a sketchbook that I’m not really working in anymore because it was for my portfolio. But I’m not going to submit that portfolio any time soon because I’m no longer interested in that summer art program. No tea no shade but they were really bad at communicating when things were supposed to happen and I’m not driving across my long ass state without a month of planning. I’ll probably try again next year. This summer I’m gonna lock myself in my room and do nothing but studies and practice. Or at least that’s the plan…

What do you mean by “natcat AUs”? (And reminder that you want to do one?)

Okay let's actually answer this! Late, but. Whatever.

So I'm mentally calling this a natcat AU because it is, in fact, an AU where certain characters are cats! But to distinguish it from AUs where characters are turned into cats, as opposed to just being cats from the start, I'm calling it natcat (naturally cat).

The best example of the kind of AU that I'm talking about is Catvengers (which I've had bookmarked for seven years and still adore) by @defractum, but another good example is CATaracts, CATastrophes, and Other Terrible Cat Puns (also Marvel). The reason I got to thinking about this kind of AU is because I was reading @glimmerglanger's fic Home (On the Range), where Anakin is a 6mo puppy that Obi-Wan unexpectedly inherits.

Anyway.

I've been thinking that I'd really like to do a modern AU of some? Sort? Where the Jedi (and most of the Sith) are all cats. Maybe not all of them (I think it would be very funny if, say, Feemor was just a normal dude whose cat happens to be Qui-Gon Jinn in all his chaotic, catnipped glory, or if Ezra was a teenager just happened to have cat!Mace, cat!Depa, and cat!Kanan), but definitely most.

Probably the cat owners are various clones, Padme, etc. I'd have to tinker with it.

I do like the idea of Rex owning kitten!Soka, whose favorite hobby is following Miss Shmi's (the middle-aged lady across the street with the husband in a wheelchair, and stepson who always gives Rex and his brothers an awkward wave and can't keep their names straight but sure does seem to be trying) rescue tomcat around to get into trouble.

(Rex knows you're not supposed to let cats outside, but he's been having more than a little trouble figuring out how the hell she's escaping his apartment.)

EDIT: Shaak Ti is also a person, not a cat, because I want her to have a small army of white and grey ferrets (the Kaminoans).

Might also work with 99 having the ferrets, though...... hm.

hi! i saw your hargreeves mansion masterpost, you are a literal angel 🙏 thank you!! idk if this was mentioned before, but in the spec script that ua assistant uploaded to ao3, that basement kitchen/where leonard and vanya enter is referred to as "butcher shop entrance." they still have a display case in there, and in your picture of the kitchen the entire far wall would be the shop front, pasted over with news paper! i thought that was an interesting detail that you might like!

but yeah that is pretty cool, it’sb definitely a shop front either way, but the info we have on the street doesn’t necessarily match what’s inside the house

NatCat starter for @thecajun !

     She’s not sure why she woke up this way, and she’s not sure how she also hasn’t managed to set off two-thirds of her traps in her home. It’s a dangerous place for a little animal, and her reflexes are stilted by her currently feline nature. Who knew that she’d jump two feet in the air when the heating came on?

     Irritated, she ditches being at home, but she heads over to a very different cat-friendly apartment. It’s hard not to be distracted by all the sights and smells around her, but she knows that Remy will welcome her with open arms, and she’ll be fed there too. It’s suprisingly difficult to open things without opposable thumbs.

     Tiredly, she climbs up to his rooms, dropping onto the bed with a sigh. Liho has followed her there too (and it’s really weird but refreshing, being able to communicate with her own cat right now), and the two of them instantly doze off together in the sunlight.
