honestly if I were ever to throw the Suitehearts into any of my Killjoys stuff the dynamic would literally be the stupidest thing in the world. you do not want to have the Four and those guys together in any setting. it's a recipe for disaster. Jet and Benzedrine bitch and bicker like old ladies. telepathic warfare is waged via a complex language of glares and eyebrow movements between everyone in the room. Sandman makes a wholeheartedly joking comment to Ghoul like "I want to study you in a lab" and Kobra Kid gives him a black eye on the spot. Crab and Donnie end up playing hide n seek with the Girl until someone else who isn't aware of the game accidentally dumps a whole dude out of their hiding spot on accident and then gets elbowed for it. everyone hates each other but they're also kind of pals in the way that people who occasionally help each other out but don't see each other outside of that can be. that kind of thing

I need a distraction from my thoughts before I truly start spiralling, so I'm gonna talk about my favorite thing, YOHAJI!!!

(sorry if this gets rambly or confusing or just 'yeah, everyone already knows that, hex' but let me live ok)

One thing I've been wanting to write about is how much I love Haru, in a kinda indepth way!

(Also a i writing this on mobile so so no photos, sorry, this is already difficult enough)

Haru's growth, while still staying true to what made him endearing in the first place, is really amazing to me. At the core of haru is that he is a very genuine person who just wants to be a good teacher and obsess over sailor uniforms in peace. He doesn't have any ulterior motives, just wants to do a good job.

We start with him being scared of every little thing (just as scared as Ame is). He freaks out at almost every youkai he sees. He gets little respect (more like pity) from everyone. He truly is just a pathetic man.

As time goes on though he gets more comfortable with everything. He doesn't freak when he see non humanoid youkai, now. He can talk to intimidating people (even if only for the benefit of his students), and even do things like trick people into doing things (I don't think the haru af the beginning would be able to do any of that, he would just let himself be walked on more the most part).

But he's still our Haru. Pathetic, sailor uniform loving, clumsy, little guy. He still gets distracted by sailor uniforms (though he tries to keep if from interfering with his works). Still gets scared of delinquents. He still messes things up for our entertainment. He still cares for those around him.

Idk, I just find this really nice and comforting.

Hey quick thing

I know Copia is a big fan favorite who really clicked with a large part of the fanbase. He was introduced during a pivotal time for Ghost and his character has so many quirks and has gone through so many changes we’ve all latched onto in our own way. It’ll be sad seeing him go, it will be for me too. Copia was the frontman for Ghost when I was first introduced so he holds a special little place in my heart. And it’s okay to be sad abt it, he means a lot to us for whatever specific reasons we may have! Anyone who feels the same is always more than free to hop in my askbox or DMs to talk abt him whether it’s just silly gushing, venting, sharing angsty theories, other things *cough cough*. Copia’s departure will be sad but let’s enjoy him while we still have him! And the same goes for every character. The other Papas, the ghouls, Imperator- they’re all such amazing and elaborate characters who’ve been just as enjoyable even after their own departure. I love seeing what this community has to contribute for the band, it never ceases to inspire me. I love y’all so much!

I was digging in a box of my old monster high stuff to try and find clothes i can put my custom doll in until i get around to making her some myself, and i found this:

I brought it upstairs with the clothes i snatched and decided to read it, mainly out of guilt for never doing so when i was little.

I didnt expect to cry. i want to go and find all the ones i had and read them now. it feels silly to cry at something like this but i did! it honestly really reassured me about life and stuff. too much has been going on right now and what it said was just really good for me i guess.

I'm so glad these were given to kids. i wonder how many other people they brought comfort to. i wish i read them when i was younger, but i'm glad i read it now.

#monster high #on another note it was fun how much character they packed into these #it mentions some of the other ghouls and in those brief moments you get really solid ideas of their character #just really good quality #i need to talk about that so i dont cry more haha #the puns too are great #i always forget HOW MANY there are #like i always know it's there- it's an iconic part of monster high #it just surprised me a little how much there was! #just absolute props to the writers for the diaries #something else i noticed is that there's room for you to add a schedule #so if you want to play school with them you can keep track of all their schedules! #i honestly can't remember how i played with my MH dolls #i loved them so much but i just cant remember! #i have multiple playsets so i think i would use those #i mainly remember dressing them up and brushing their hair and putting them in the setting #but not playing with them #ill ask my mom if she remembers #i might have literally sat down and just put them in clothes and brush their hair and look at them for hours #i remember how i played with my LPS and the one script i played over and over with my barbies #but MH i dont know #which is strange because i KNOW i liked them more than barbies (even though i liked those too) #but maybe ive just always liked them for how pretty they were
