You could already tell you were dreaming.

It was cold. Very cold. And not in the usual way a dream was cold... it wasn’t just your mind telling you you should be freezing and leaving it there. No, you could feel the prickling in your skin, the immediate aching of your fingers and toes, the sharpness in your nose and cheeks.

...

You wrapped your arms around yourself, looking around. Puffs of steam escaped your lips, snow covering the ground around you on all sides... you were nonplussed, dazed, trying to get your bearings on what landscape your sleeping mind had thrust you into while still grappling with the confusion that came with a lucid dream. A wide snow-covered path, bordered on both sides by tall leafless trees...

...

And a figure, just ahead of you, turned away from you. You froze for a second, but... you squinted. Wait, you recognised that silhouette!

“Sans?” You asked, starting to walk, tucking your hands into your armpits for some protection. What was your roommate doing in this strange dream? The closer you got to him to the more your pace picked up. “Sans, what’s...”

“... close.” He said.

...

That stopped you right in your tracks, just a few feet away from him.

...

Oh.

That...

... that wasn’t Sans.

He turned around; you had to swallow to stop yourself from gasping aloud, taking a single step back in the snow, because the first thing you noticed was the stitches- bright purple threads that pierced through his bone, sealing shut one eyesocket and binding the opposite edge of his smile, like someone had taken a needle and neatly sewn him up. As you forced yourself to look away from the thread you noticed that his hoodie was dust-grey in colour, a strange, off grayscale of the signature blue you were accustomed to, stripping him of any colour and friendliness. In fact... the only colour on his whole body was that royal purple stitching.

It must’ve just been the contrast of the magenta on his monochrome body, but it almost looked like the threads were... glowing. Alive.

“heh...” He had Sans’ voice, and his grin lifted when he observed your reaction... his whole expression, the way he held himself, it all felt... sharp. “not who you were expecting?”

“... Who are you?” Was the first thing you got out.

... He looked you up and down, the edges of his eyelights just a little too clean, you were so accustomed to Sans’ fuzzy softness that something felt very very wrong. You really did feel like he was... surveying you, almost, looking over you like you were a puzzle that he found easy but still had yet to solve, an unmoving smile cut into his face.

“s’rude to ask someone’s name without giving them yours.” He said. You had no idea if he was being sarcastic or not, you couldn’t read him, it was as if the entirety of his face was one perfect mask. You hadn’t even noted he’d had his hands in his pockets until he removed one of them, holding it out to you.

... The ends of his phalanges were blackened, like he’d held them in a fire until they scorched. You couldn’t help but stare; his hands were stitched as well, threaded together with purple where the carpals met the wrist... whoever had stitched it had done so with almost medical-level precision.

Could you smell... blood?

“... Sorry.” You mumbled. Instead of telling him your name, you gave him a nickname you were used to... you weren’t sure why you didn’t feel like he could be trusted with the real thing. You didn’t take his hand, and after a few moments, he put it back in his pocket. “So... you’re?”

... His unsewn socket narrowed, just a fraction.

“... call me karma, baby boy.” He purred.

...

Warmth immediately rushed to your cheeks.

... You’d liked your roommate for as long as you’d known him. His smile, his stupid shitty jokes, his comforting aura of laziness that made you calmer just by being around him. The way he put an arm over you when you relaxed together, the way he was perfectly happy letting you lean into him to fall asleep on his shoulder. His eyelights... his voice...

... But Sans... he’d never acted any way other than completely, totally platonic. You hadn’t gotten even a hint from him that there was anything there in his Soul for you; you had a huge unrequited crush on the guy.

... And from the look in his single pinprick eyelight... Karma knew.

...

He cocked his head slightly, smile still so unsettlingly fixed in place. “i could make it go away, y’know.”

... You blinked in confusion, starting to quiver a little from the cold. “What?”

“the pain, pet.” His voice had taken on a new quality. Friendlier, more teasing, but still with an icy condescending edge. Like he was almost... testing the water? Finding out what tones you liked and adding them to his speech. “that feeling when he looks at you like you’re just a buddy... the sting when you realise that’s all you’ll ever be to him.”

... all you’ll ever be to him. Yeah, you felt the sting he was talking about.

... Karma took a step toward you. You stared at him, you didn’t even know what you were so nervous about, he just had this... negative air, like he was draining something out of the world around him. You had no idea what.

He reached out to you, confidently. You were frozen to the spot, feet rooted to the earth, his hand moving straight into your personal space bubble and you almost felt like you couldn’t back away or lean... but all he did was trace your collarbone through your shirt, humming quietly to himself as his phalanges settled on your shoulder. Your heart started to pound even though you didn’t want it to- it wasn’t your fault, a guy with the face of the person you were intensely crushing on was being so...

... forward.

For a second, you couldn’t feel the cold anymore.

“no point holdin’ on to all those feelings when there’s no hope, hm?” He smiled, voice even lower and gentler. It felt cruel; him showing you exactly what you’d never have. Rubbing salt in the wound.

“... Look, I...” You finally took a step back, leaving his hand suspended in the air. “I have no idea what you’re talking about. This dream is weird enough already.”

“... lucid, huh? impressive...” His hand fell to his side, resuming his normal empty smile. “say, do you feel that? the cold?”

“... Yes.” Biting at you.

“best you wake up, then. before you stop feeling it and forget where you are.”

“...What? What are you sa-”

Before you could even finish the sentence, Karma cleared the distance between the two of you in a single teleport, so close you were almost chest-to-chest and he could lean over you to loom. For a split second as you looked up at him in shock his eyelight had taken on a piercing glow in his shadowed smile... he put his hand on your chest with his fingers spread, his hand was so cold. He leant in until his grin was inches from your ear.... you didn’t feel any breath against your skin, but nevertheless, a shiver spread over your entire body.

“promise you’ll think about my offer, hm?” He purred.

He took the hand off your chest, held it just beside your ear, and with a single snap of his fingers you were submerged in total darkness.

“i hope you see sense.”

You sat up in bed, drenched in sweat and shaking all over.

Like everyone from the AFAC blog?? All at once? Well we have a crossover planned but I think *everyone* going over at once would break something. So here's some hypothetical meet up responses based on what I think the characters would do. F[person] is from AFAC. C[person] is from ACAF. F for Frisk. C for Chara. This hypothetical interaction takes place post memelord. This is also assuming Frisk is a little more mellow now and not about to cause trouble immediately but still not fully "reformed" but people are hypothetically chill with them.

F. Frisk: Hello new world! It's good to be here! I wonder what other me is like this time!? I hope they're nice! I bet they're nice!

C. Frisk (appearing in front of them): What are you and why do you look like me but alive and so... sunshiny...

F. Frisk: ooo you're a ghost?? So you died? I'm so sorry! But how does it feel? Is it weird being a ghost? Are you doing ok? Did you ever think about becoming a Skeleton monster? My friend Chara was a ghost and then they became a Skeleton monster! Maybe you can do that!!

C Frisk: (sarcastically) ooo you're human?? So you're alive? I'm so sorry! But how does it feel? Is it weird being made of flesh? Are you doing ok? Did you ever think about dying? Did you consider eating a pie of buttercups?This is you. This is how you sound. Do you think before you speak?

F. Frisk: Oh.... so it's that kind of world, huh? One where I'm in Chara's place and Chara is in my place? Kinda... swapped or something?

C.Frisk: What are you talking about?

F. Frisk: I don't think I can tell you because spoilers, but just know everything will be ok! It'll all work out! Oh! And if Chara makes you a strawberry ghost cake, you should eat it because they worked really hard on it!

C. Frisk: thanks???

C. Chara: Um well, greetings. Welcome to this world? [Looks at the Frisks, then looks back at F. Chara] So, your Frisk is alive but you are a Skeleton and you were surprised that I was alive. I'm just guessing here, but I think maybe you're like switched with Frisk or something?

F. Chara [relieved]: or something eh heh...

C. Chara: judging by the fact that you're a Skeleton and not trying to um... hurt people I'm guessing you've gone through some character arcs and now you're cool? Please be cool. F. Papyrus: Thank you Papyrus! But um... are you doing ok? I know I, the Great Papyrus can go with very little sleep sometimes, but you seem like you have gone a very long time with very little sleep. I am sure, as Papyrus, you can handle it. But even Papyrus's need rest sometimes.

C. Papyrus: you know me too well, Papyrus. i do have trouble sleeping at night sometimes. but i try to make up for it by napping.

F. Papyrus: Egad! A Papyrus, Napping! It's worse than I feared! You, Papyrus, and I, Papyrus are going off to have a "self care day"! Literally because we are caring for our "selves"! Nyeh heh heh!

C. Papyrus: good one, Papyrus. ok. you know what, yes. i will take you up on that "self" care day.

F. Papyrus: That's the spirit, Papyrus! You are looking better already! Nyeh heh heh! [F. Papyrus scoops C. Papyrus up and runs off]

F. Sans: nah. let's just... hang out for a sec. so, you're me, huh? i heard there was a lot of us out there- many much Sansi. how do you feel about that? knowing that there are so many other versions of "you?" not knowing which one is the "real" you. realizing you might not be the best version of "you." that you could even be one of the worst-

C. Sans: Hold on there, pal. Your spiraling in negativity. This is also "me" you're talking about, you know? You're going to hurt my feelings.

F. Sans: oh! um... sorry. i didn't mean it like that. it's just weird to think about i guess.

C. Sans: It's ok, Buddy. I'm thinking maybe you have your reasons for thinking like that. Some bad things that happened in the past, like what happened to my brother. He gets like this sometimes. I will tell you what I tell him: Sometimes bad thoughts come because of what happened and that's ok- normal even. Having bad thoughts doesn't make you a bad person. Just don't dwell on those thoughts too long. When you realize you are having bad thoughts you should take a step back and examine them. Then shoo them away with thoughts about things you like: your brother, for example.

F Sans: that's... really good advice. thanks, me.

C Sans: No problemo, amigo. We're both pretty Sansational after all!

F Gaster: I did, but I had a rather unfortunate accident involving said tea, and I haven't liked it very much since.

C Gaster [nods sagely]: my Hermann had the same exact problem not too long ago, except our piranhas are fond of lemons. hate oranges though. maybe you should try orange tea again, if you are going to be staying a while- just in case.

C Gaster: Great! you can give me your insight on my latest scifi idea! i'm thinking it will be a buddy comedy about this one guy and his doppelganger from another universe and their hilarious hijinks and misadventures!

How would the bitties react to their owner getting trapped in an abusive relationship? (Two scenarios; asked for help and not asked for help)

Nightmare:

Asked for Help: The instant he has the go-ahead by his Owner, he will not stop until the abusive S/O is out of the house, whether or not the S/O owns the house, he’s going to make sure they leave, a very protective and sturdy bitty.

Did Not Ask For Help: Nightmares can sense Abuse from a mile away considering all the negativity it carries, and generally people do not ask for help with an Emotionally Abusive S/O because they think they deserve this- well they have another thing coming.

Because Nightmares can be just as Toxic as they are right back to them. Bad Dreams every Night to cause Insomnia, Snarky Comments Left and Right to every insecurity the abuser has, a practically indestructible body, he’ll make sure to protect the owner even if they don’t ask him to.

Dreams:

Asked for Help: They are protective bitties themselves, but fighting is not high on their priority list.

They will generally try to get ahold of family members or friends the Abuser had tried to cut from the Owner and have them help take their Owner out of the abusive situation. More helpful when it comes to any psychological abuse that Owner endured, giving them the sweetest dreams and wholeheartedly assuring them that they did the right thing.

Did Not Ask For Help: They still bring good dreams to the Owner to help them Heal Emotionally and Psychologically every day and outside of dreams will actively talk to Owner and insist that this isn’t healthy and they can do better.

Killer:

Asked for Help: Did you just give him the Okay to Kill the Abuser? You just did, didn’t you? Well no worries, you just satiated a Killer’s desire to slaughter for a day, though you’ll probably have to help dispose of what’s left.

Did Not Ask for Help: Actively remarks on the Emotional and/or Mental Abuse that comes out of the Abuser’s mouth, making it very obvious to the Victim Owner any sly tactics their S/O is using is very damaging.

( “ did you just remark on how you don’t like their friends? funny, no one seems to like you very much either. Is it because you’re as subtle in cutting them out as a brick wall?”

“ your passive aggressive hostility is delicious. isn’t it delicious (Owner)?”

“ you say they misheard you? heh, you’re a bad bad liar and we know it, c’mon, give it a little more charm, hold their hand, why not cry a little?”

“ you’ll hurt yourself if they leave you? you don’t have to do that, just let me out and you can bleed all you like!”)

Horror:

Asked for Help: Has been dreaming about ways to help you escape, gives you contacts of people actively willing to help you ‘disappear’, everything of his he could grab (Including a bag of food) is ready, let’s go!

Sidenote, if a Physically Abusive S/O sees you trying to escape the Horror will willingly stay behind to take chunks out of the abuser so you can flee, though this is merely a distraction tactic, may not survive the fight with his limited amount of magic.

Did Not Ask for Help: Horrors are very passive in terrible situations unless it directly pertains to their family, in which case he gets very hostile. Will actively let you know that the S/O is bad for them and that he ‘Personally wants them dead, but it’s ultimately your decision’, while actively biting hands if they try to touch you and actively argues with them if the S/O tries to get you to give away their Horror.

Teeth:

Asked for Help: Teeth Bitties are Sweethearts, but they are part of the Horrortale Set, if you ask him nicely for help it ends two ways:

1. He poisons the Abuser. He will only do this if you tell him to.

2. Tries to contact those closest to the Owner to help them get out while setting up traps around Owner’s things so Abusive S/O cannot sneak into anything without alerting the Owner and Teeth Bitty.

Did Not Ask for Help: Teeth are just as Likely as an Owner to be Abused with their Passive and Loving Nature, will start getting reckless with their traps to the point it may damage the Abuser if not reigned in.

Murder:

Both: Generally a very protective bitty he wouldn’t let this abusive stuff with his owner happen in the first place unless the Abuser messes with them as well, like doing things that make the bitty mentally break down- for instance secretly locking the poor Murders away for hours with no company or outlet, or worse with another Sansy.

He will either kill the Abuser in his own Hysterics trying to protect himself and the Owner, will beg the Owner to see reason and get out of there with him, or will Dust as he will not abandon the Owner he is attached to.

Toriel:

Both: Toriels have a bad habit of keeping their feelings locked away until a couple bad events have happened, however there would be a point where she snaps, whether it’s from everything happening for too long, or the Owner asking for Help. The Toriel will probably get in contact with Owner’s Family to see if they will help in confronting the Abuser and taking Owner away from the place.

If this does not happen she will run away with the Owner, being very precise in not leaving any incriminating evidence behind.

Raggedy:

Both: While Toriels usually keep quiet about things until things have already happened more than once, Raggedies have a very short fuse about it and is quite ready to throw down with Abuser if it ever happens again. However they are very easily manipulated and are prone to breakdowns, so it’s mostly up to the Owner to gather themselves and leave when they can as Raggedies are only good in this situation for a fight.

Queenie:

Both: More one to face a problem head on she would try and talk to the Abuser once it’s happened the first time. However if they continually push boundaries the Queenie bitty will declare War upon the Abuser with their subjects behind them, no matter how big or small the group is, and will make sure to chip away at them until they leave.

Empress:

Before Either Case: The ever elegant and Powerful Bitty known as the Empress will not tolerate Abuse of Any Kind to their Owner.

Does extensive background checks on those their Owner dates and any Threat of Abuse gets the person immediately removed from the Owner, with a note or text telling the Owner they will never bother them again.

Mumcher:

Both: Will Immediately Attack the moment Physical type of Abuse happens, and turn up the dial on her intensity and protectiveness the moment Emotional or Mental Manipulation happens, raises a Parade of Red Flags before the Owner can get in too deep, or if they already have tries to pull them from it with the help of those she can gather to protect them.

If you think you can handle a Retriever, but aren’t able to consistently exercise them yourself, you can set up an area for them to do it themself!

Retrievers are liable to emotional stress if left alone for long periods of times, so it may be best to adopt a companion for them.

Diet

Retrievers are to be given a meat-based meal, and while they are perfectly able to eat raw meat, they have a preference for cooked meat. It is suggested they are given higher calorie meals to help with their high energy.

Appearance

A Retriever’s markings will appear in a bright orange color, and can range from the common patterns, to the more rare ones.

Retrievers have a chance of random mutations, such as folded ears or short legs.

Health Concerns

The easiest way to tell how a Retriever’s health is, is to check the color of their patterns and or inner ears and eyelights. The more vibrant the coloring, the healthier the bitty.

Retrievers with a few of the above listed mutations have higher chances of health problems than other bitties. If you notice your Retriever starting to display any symptoms of these health problems, please bring them to your nearest adoption center, or Fluffy Adoptions, for immediate medical attention.

So since I am unable to draw really. Seriously cannot draw hands to save my life enjoy my little snippet. Thank you @themsource and @rubydracogirl-blog for making me do this. 😋

Luna has heard about the whole soulmate mark going on. Apparently you wrote a message on your arm and it was sent to whoever your soulmate was. Being one of those yanno hopeless romantic types she found herself on her break starring at her arm. A black sharpie in her right hand taking the back of it against the bottom of her chin.

Grillby's looked down at her from his post behind the bar. He was a good guy and a good dad to the little brunette. "Nervous?"

"What if no one gets it?" Luna wasn't sure if she was ready to consider herself being a spinster. Then again maybe owning twenty cats and calling them her babies wouldn't be so bad.

"You're too sweet not to have a soulmate, spark." Luna wrinkled her nose at that comment lifting her head up to shoot a glare at him with her mismatched edges. It only made the elemental chuckle. " Now that you are not dwelling on those negative thoughts. You are a lovely woman who the universe gifted a compassionate soul. I would have to think that it would not gift you a soulmate."

"What do you say to someone you haven't possibly met?" Luna whined throwing her head back since she forgot she was against a bar. The wood proving to not be so nice to her soft fleshy exterior.

"maybe start off with somethin' humerus." Luna looked up up there lazy skeleton that frequented the bar. Pale blue eyes lights watched her making her miss the adoration they held.

"You think a joke would be a good starter Sansy?" She asked him running her hand over the sore spot that had formed on the back of her head.

Sansy had been the name she had gifted him the day that she met him. Of course trust that be there name that stuck. The skeleton lifted his shoulders only to let them drop shortly after. "couldn' hurt kid." Kid, that made her snort. She was not a kid not by a longshot.

"Okay. Think I know what to write." She got up from her position from the bar and walked to the bathroom not wanting the skeleton to tease her about her what she was going to write.

Sans watched Luna leave a sigh exiting him at the thought of her finding someone other than him. He always teased her because he knew that he wasn't the one she was destined to be with. And in moments that sickening feeling of being right was going to come. Making him silently hate and envy the person that would get her.

Clutching his bottle of ketchup in his hand he hummed debating whether to go home or not. He liked coming here after his dance class to unwind and spend time with Luna. Should he consider another spot if Luna's soulmate decided this was a good spot to spend time with her? Nah, the little human was too cute to do that to. Besides just cause they were a soulmate didn't mean Sans could attempt to run them off. Shoving the tip of his red condiment bottle in his mouth he sucked the sweet tangy contents already plotting how to win Luna.

His arm started to itch and normally that didn't bother him. But the fact that he was getting an itch concerned him. At first he started to scratch above his jacket. That was not soothing it at all. In fact he felt like it was getting worse. "Sans? You okay?" Grillby's voice reached his ear holes.

Looking up at the elemental he took note of the concern he currently held. "just a bit itchy is all grillbz."

That startled the bar keep. "Can bones get itchy?"

"not usually." Sans proceeded to scratch deciding to remove the jacket from the equation. Sliding the hoodie delicately from his shoulders he placed it on the bar top. Hoping that it wouldn't fall off while attending to his current irritation. Maybe this was the universe telling him not to fuck with Luna's soulmate. Well suck an elf universe maybe you should have made her his soulmate!

Turning his arm he froze when he saw the cause if said itch. There in his ulna written in delicate handwriting that he knew so well was: Sorry for stalling but wasn't sure what to towel you. So I figured I just say hello.

He felt his soul stop at the sight of stalling and towel in a cursive handwriting. And at the end of the sentence was a little drawing of a crescent moon. Oh the universe was certainly screwing with him now because he knew who that drawing belonged to. He had watched her draw it so many times.

"Are you going to respond to her? Or are you just gonna sit there and state at a love stuck idiot?" Grillby's barked at him before tossing a marker at Sans' head. Sans caught it quickly unable to fight the painful grin that was going to be cemented on his face for the rest of the night.

He tried to be neat about it as he wrote on his radius. Thanking the Stars he didn't have a large gap between the two bones. that's okay how about you mustard up some courage and come out to relish in our night together. because i need to help you ketchup on how happy i an right now.

He made sure to sign his name at the end. Starring at the two messages he couldn't help but take out his phone and snap a picture. Just in case she was just as shocked as him he texted the image to her.

To everyone that read Bitty Blues, thank you so much for the reblogs and your feedback. I can't even begin to tell you how much that means to me. Now I'd like to take this time to reply to some of the people that left comments on this fanfiction before moving on to the next piece of news I have for you.

@theydrawthings - You were the first one to review, and you were the first to point out the easter egg I hid towards the ends of the story! Chopper really tugged on your heartstrings, huh?

And I'd love to see the scene of the Blueberry swarm if you decide to draw it!

(Fun Fact: Drawing fan art of stuff I've written is 99.9% more likely to make me love you forever! @nuvex, @lostmypotatoes, @xxkoichiixx, @venelona and @theydrawthings, I haven't forgotten about the lovely fan art you've drawn for me. I have to look at them every few days to make sure I wasn't just dreaming.)

@semisolidmind - It's funny you mentioned writing for this again, since I might just have an idea or two up my sleeve...

@mellowjelloe - Wow, Chopper has really left a mark on the readers, hasn't he? So many people want to adopt him.

@lostmypotatoes - WOAH. You read through this story, which is nearly 20,000 words in length, three times? In a row? You say it was just that good? Wow, you're really sweet! And maybe a little nuts. But mostly sweet!

You and several others have noticed and praised how I gave each of the bitties introduced their own personality. At first I was only going to introduce one or two and skim over the rest, but then as I said in one post earlier, it all just snowballed. I thought the process might get old to the readers before the story got to the end, but it looks like that wasn't the case.

As for how Chara selected her own bitty Bossanova, I'm afraid it wouldn't make for much of a story I think. She already knew she wanted to adopt Bossanova from the moment she met him! XD But maybe she might return to the adoption center one day and come back for Bebop...

@xxkoichiixx - First of all, thank you for telling me about the typos and the sudden point of view changes - I think I've corrected all those now. I read over the things that I write at least once before posting to look for such things, but I guess I missed a few mistakes because the story stretched on for so long...

And more love for Chopper!

And honestly, about wanting to adopt G? Saaaaame. Another fun fact: I used to not like him that much. Something about his whole 'bad boy' aesthetic just rubbed me the wrong way. All it took was some headcanons, fan art, and fanfiction of him being portrayed as a genuinely cool guy and actually pretty sweet for me to change my mind. Now I think he's an unfairly underrated AU character that desperately needs more love and attention.

@mambourin - A lot of comments mentioned how they liked the interactions between Frisk and Chara. Writing their conversations felt natural to me in a way I can't quite describe, but I thought that I needed to show how important they are to each other before anything else in the story. Romance and shipping can be a lot of fun, but I also feel that platonic relationships have just as much relevance and shouldn't be brushed so easily aside.

I will admit that my writing can be described as intricate, but I used to think it was a bad thing. 'Nobody cares about that much detail going into a story! You're wasting your time!' my negative and pessimistic side would argue. So hearing how much you and others appreciate all the touches I put into the narrative, it really helps put a muzzle onto that stream of self-deprecating thoughts.

Okay, now onto the next news!

Some of you have asked for and about this in the comments and asks, so I've decided to confirm it.

I HAVE thought of a sequel for Bitty Blues.

Actually, that isn't accurate. The truth is, I've thought of TWO sequels!

The first one takes place a little after Frisk adopts Crescendo and showcases their life together. However, do you remember that sweet Sansy she first met at the adoption center, readers? That's right. Frisk adopts him too! So the story is about Crescendo coming to terms with having to share Frisk with another bitty, but his jealousy only gets worse when after a while of the Sansy living with them, he turns into a G bitty! So then Crescendo feels inferior since now he and the Sansy turned G aren't quite equals anymore in the terms of rarity.

The second sequel is focused on... Chopper. It's also a bit of a prequel, since the first part would detail just how he became an Axe bitty, and it's gut-wrenching. I'm not joking, you guys - I actually started tearing up a few times while planning it out. Basically, his past owner really wanted a G bitty, but couldn't afford one. So she decided to make one. The problem with that is, nobody knows just how Sansies turn into Gs, so her insane line of reasoning was, since Gs are so slim figured, one factor of them turning into Gs must be their weight. You already know exactly how this turned out.

But you see, Sansies are supposed to be chubby. And without enough food in their system, their magic weakens and their bones gradually get more brittle. Which brings us to the gaping hole in his head. Let's just say she got annoyed with him begging for food and let's leave it at that for now...

As you can well imagine, this was extremely traumatizing for him. He has a host of physical and mental conditions that the adoption center's staff work tirelessly to help him cope. But the most severe condition he has is an eating disorder - Chopper has bulimia.

Chopper doesn't place any blame on his owner, and because he couldn't be what she wanted, and with his bone structure expanding instead of shrinking post transformation, he thinks of himself as hideously obese when nothing could be further from the truth. Anything he eats, it never stays in his system long before he tries to purge it by forcing himself to vomit. That's why his voice is so raspy, he's done this so many times it's affected his speech.

I'd really like for this second story to be not only about Chopper's background, but also about his recovery. In his mind, he won't let the staff help him because it's their job to take care of him and any concern they show him is out of obligation, so maybe he would be more obedient towards a potential future owner. This being Frisk, of course.

It's a very touchy subject matter, so I can see why some people might shy away from reading it, especially those that have suffered from eating disorders. I thought it was a unique concept, though. Usually, Horrortale Sans is depicted as ravenous and would eat just about anything in a setting where food is scarce. But Horrortale Sans in this Bittybones AU outright refuses to eat in a setting where food is plentiful and given to him.

Let me know your thoughts on these potential sequels either by comment or through an ask, since I'd love some feedback on these ideas. If I do decide to write them, I'm not sure when I'd do so since right now I'm writing another prompt from the list and want to finish it before moving onto another story. And then I also have to think about that continuation of 'The Villain I Appear To Be' that I said I might do.

Sansy puts his hand over yours on his cheekbone. Tears are welling up in his sockets. “I love you...” is all he says. He can’t find the words to say more. But maybe he doesn’t have to.
