Currently watching: (or rather, currently failing to watch;)): Tale of Nine Tailed 1938, Percy Jackson. I adore both shows, make no mistake, but I find it hard to watch with my real life obligations and my to-read list. But I truly hope to watch more this weekend!

Currently consuming: At this moment- nothing, because I am cooking dinner. Last thing I ate was GoActive protein pudding (salted caramel). Really good! (And I am not much into fitness or healthy eating... Just truly like this pudding!).

First ship: Anne Shirley/Gilbert Blythe (Shirbert).

Relationship status: Single as a pringle (otherwise known as Still-Waiting-For-A-Prince-Charming-To-Come-And-Sweep-Me-Off-My-Feet or Happily-In-Love-With-Many-Fictional-Characters!). But I am not unhappy about it.

Last movie: Movie... hm... let me think... I think it was Murder In The Orient Express (Hercule Poirot), with David Suchet. Rewatch, of course!

have you ever made a tutorial on how you draw lips because honestly I've always been obsessed on whenever you make them so like perfect af and detailed omg 🫠 like even if you dont have one or arent up to it i honestly think its just like my fave aspect of your designing aside from bodies and fashion and i just wanted to say that

i dont draw lips in any way thats dif from the average artist, i think..!

i draw the smile first (aka whats going on between the lips) bc i care abt the expression -> i draw lips around the expression -> sometimes i give em lip glaws

i favor thick lips w/o cupid bows ^_^ i also draw lips very.. blocky, but i draw everything blocky LOL

This is a great question, @curiousnonny as someone who studied Autism in school and worked with a few autistic children, I don't think she's autistic, but do I think she falls within the spectrum or what is referred to the autism spectrum disorder (ASD). And it's confusing b/c autism falls withing the spectrum of ASD.

Now I'm not a phycologist or a sociologist but I did have to study it when I switched to education.

Side note there was a time that there were 3 teers to Autism, there was Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder and Asperger's - one was more severe than the other, that have been umbrellaed under one diagnoses of ASD. So in other words Katniss does have traits.

She does have sensory issues, i.e. to touch.

She doesn't have complete awareness of social cue's

She has single minded focus

Doesn't make friends easily

Doesn't do small talk

Doesn't like change

Katniss has a structure to her day and doesn't veer from it, hunts, trades, school, home, repeat!

She is supper smart - (her lack of proper EDU. is a shame )

I wonder if the PTSD she suffers is exacerbated by her ASD - it's when she begins to withdraw from society because she's overwhelmed, yes it's PTSD but it's also a clear sign that cannot handle societal pressures when overwhelmed

I would say she's very high functioning or a high functioning ASD

And just to give you a list of people who are high functioning and within the ASD : Daryl Hanna (Splash movie), Tim Burton (Director Nightmare before Christmas Movie) Dan Akroyd (SNL Alum), (and I think I read somewhere Bill Gates too...but I may need to verify. )just to name a few. Katniss could very well fit into that group...

Yee I think you're right. I think I'll set the frontmost limbs a little more inward so the middle pair passes over them. But I'm definitely using that idea of the front and back moving together. Maybe a slight delay on the back..

These are my ultra super secret rough test animations, I think I'm going to take the body movement from 2 and the legs from 1. Or I'll keep 2 as a lil panicked hop-run.

Desi ma love What's one headcanon you have about 911 Lone Star characters you don't think many people share?

Hi, my love 🥰 You know this made my day!

Ohh, Michelle out here asking me the hard questions 🤣 I've seen so many headcanons about Lone Star that I agree with so much, but it's harder thinking of unpopular ones. I'm giving you 3 that I thought of!

One that I've seen 50/50 takes on, is how easily Carlos and TK fall asleep. I think TK is able to fall asleep anywhere and instantly, a large part of that from being a firefighter and needing to catch as much sleep as possible between emergencies. Do I think Carlos' calming presence helps with this? Absolutely! And I love that we've gotten the canon examples of TK falling asleep on the couch with Carlos and on Carlos' comfort bicep in the hospital. But I don't think just anyone could have fallen asleep so easily wedged between Carlos and the couch, with that light from the laptop too.

I think before TK, Carlos had a harder time quieting his mind and falling asleep. Between his stressful job, the strained relationship with his parents and all the other insecurities and stressors we know about Carlos, and his need for control, I just think he would have a tough time getting comfortable and shutting off his brain in order to fall asleep. There's no denying that TK helped with so many of these issues, so of course that translates to Carlos being able to fall asleep more easily now and it also helps having TK's warm body to calm him and put him to sleep. Which is also how Carlos knows so quickly when TK is not in bed.

I'm not sure what the majority of people think about this headcanon, but I think that TK never cooked for any significant others before Carlos. I think that TK of course knew how to cook fairly well before Carlos, and I do think his skills improved after Carlos. But to me, it doesn't seem like TK would have ever used food as a love language until Carlos! That man cooked TK a whole ass fish dinner while they were casual hookups, he was so in love already! That definitely also contributed to TK running away, because someone going out of their way to make a lovely dinner at home specifically for him, was not something TK had experienced before! I'm so happy food plays such a role in their relationship now, and that we got canon confirmation that TK cooks for Carlos as well, to show how much he loves him 🥰

Hello Days, I heard about the wildfires in Hawaii and once again hoping you and your family are doing okay. 💞

Hello Happyocelot 💞 and anyone else who reads this.... My family is on Oahu, so we're very much physically removed from Maui, but my coworker grew up in Lahaina, and his family's home burned down with the historic town. The daily news about it just gets worse and worse about the victims and reasons and how the situation is impacting so many things (I see now that I was truly naive about how disasters take a toll across borders and distance and touch down in all facets of life), and tbh I'm trying to hear about it as little as possible for my own mental health and I still know more than I'd like (even having stress dreams earlier this week). It's all upsetting and depressing to process, so... There are tons of fundraising efforts going on around the islands, the situation is weighing heavily on everyone's minds. We've been donating food, clothes, and money this past week. What's also horrifying to know is how easily this could happen to similar dry communities on any of the islands, like there are wildfires on Oahu every year.

Ooooohmygosh what if TK worked in the White House and Carlos was a journalist, he’s spent the last five years embedded in the Middle East and he’s just come back to the states. His paper sent him to DC to cover the White House beat (which he finds BORING) while his colleague is out on maternity leave. He meets TK and they begin an illicit love affair!! If Carlos’s employer finds out he’ll be fired and probably never find a job in journalism again. If TK’s found out it will be a massive political scandal!!

Season two would be what does Carlos do when his colleague returns. Does he stay in DC? Does he return to being embedded overseas?
