you dont understand how funny this series of screenshots is to me. this is when jay says "please don't take this the wrong way but why are you helping us?" to bentho. look at lloyd. look at him. look how awkward/embarrassed he looks by the end. he looks like he doesn't want to be there and i love it
First time doing traditional art in months but I wanted this one on my wall.
She’s the ruler of the sky and sea
Struggled with colored pencils for a while but
Mmm dragons yeah, they’re definitely easier for me specially traditionally.
Nya’s elemental dragon is there too just because haha just smile and nod.
Thinking about S6 Water dragon nothing to do with my Skybound problem I swear…… it’s just an interesting dragon design. I love it and this is now the third time I’ve drawn it. Which is two more times than they actually showed it in the show >:(
Nya is happy to be human again, and is willing to accept that she lost her powers- but she is plagued with guilt. She had, in a selfish attempt to see her loved ones again, erased her elemental power from the world. There was no longer anyone who could pass it on to the next generations. It was gone. She feels guilty for not being able to help the ninja- she feels that she is no longer a ninja. Her life, her being was stripped from her. So much work, so many memories, with nothing to prove their existence but a charred soul. Nya knows that even after so many years, she is still nothing more than she was before- the girl. Nothing in the world could change that. No matter how many people she saves, how many battles she fights or how many times she proves herself.
Nya puts on her red dress, the one she used to wear almost every day; years ago. It fits her perfectly, despite how long it has been. She feels odd in the soft fabric, her scarred limbs resting in something so gentle. Years have gone by, but here she is, exactly the same as before, having gained nothing but the burden of her own actions. Gotten nothing but consequences for the things she has done. The wounded girl steps into the water- the water that is, just like the dress, a place where she had shed pieces of herself. She tries to feel them once again, but is met only with her reflection. There is nothing there but her own mistakes, her own flaws. Her missed opportunity, her wasted potential. She takes it in, accepting the inevitable fruits of her destiny.
ERM YEAH! Old drawing old concept but the world needs to see it
If you watch Zane in this clip, you can really tell he has no concept of social cues.
When Jay and Lloyd start to get nervous, Zane looks at them in an almost confused way, almost like he doesn’t understand that they probably shouldn’t have been listening in on Nya and Maya’s conversation (this is further backed up with Zane bluntly saying “Yes, we did” and then continuing to be confused when that response makes Jay upset). The only reason he has a nervous expression is because he’s mimicking Jay and Lloyd.
Basically Zane is heavily autism coded and it makes me incredibly happy.
