Like, Gayle just wants to make a name for herself, but she can be brash, rude and sometimes a little reckless, and because of that she’s lost camera guy after camera guy who have all quit, and others plain refuse to work with her because of her “reputation.”

But then there’s Vinny, who, despite Gayle’s “quirks,” has been working with her for years now and is loyal to a fault because they’re friends and that’s just what friends do

So I put up a poll not that long ago asking what tribe Vinny and Gayle Gossip should be in. For some reason you all said the Desert Tribe. Like.... OK. But........ why? So that got me thinking- do they deserve to be bound to each other in this au?

So I’ve been watching nexo knights and I’m really really trying to not compare it to Ninjago because that would be kinda unfair and I’m definitely biased but likeeeeee even our news reporter is better /hj

Edit: this is just my opinion and the /hj stands for half joke because this post is a half joke because I’m not saying I think people should just start hating Herb or anything, just that I don’t like him as much as other characters. Again just an opinion held by me personally and if you disagree that’s totally fine and if you wanna state your case on why herb herbertson deserves more shine in my mind you are totally allowed to do that bc that’s your opinion. And due to debates being two sided I’ll probably argue back, not in a you should change your mind but explaining my opinion in a joke way because I am not taking the debate personally and am assuming you aren’t either but if my response is personally affecting you, you are allowed to say “hey actually let’s not bc I’m not comfortable arguing. This character is just a character I like lol” and we can leave it at fair enough.

dan vaapit, benny (the camera man), gayle, vinny, are all siblings. the ngtv news siblings !

dan’s the oldest, gayle is the middle child, and finally vinny and benny are the youngest of the family.

also fred finely is their cousin because why not? this is my au i can do whatever i want! im imaging gayle and fred kind of having like a gwen-ben (from ben 10: classic) kind of rivalry when they were kids like constantly calling each other ‘doofus’ and ‘dweeb,’ etc.

i’ll post some headcanon about them soon ! ! hopefully y’all will like this au !
