Hey, remember when I said I had this urge to doodle First ninja and something with Norisu nine as well?

Well…I was going to do but I ended up drawing this instead. It does have something to do with the norisu nine, mostly with their death tho. And a bit of the sorcerer as well since he’s the cause of it all ya know. Made first ninjas hair a bit messy and everything.

Poor guy lost his whole family.

I Kinda like how I did the shading tbh. Anyway, hope ya like it.

I initially had this as a fanfic idea, but life prevented me from writing it. The story is scrapped, but I may or may not write ficlets based on the chapters ideas I had. It was intended to follow Randy’s journey through the rest of high school.

While Randy is doing summer training for the next following years as the ninja, he has the idea of reviving the Norisu Nine. Not by physically bringing them back. Instead, he searches for other Norrisville High students. This was initially supposed to be a surprise for First Ninja, despite Howard vehemently denying this being a good idea. First Ninja eventually does find out and isn’t happy about it.

If im being honest,, I don't have much in mind for this au in the past so a lot of the stuff I'm writing are purely in a whim cause I have never thought my au through :'DD (#idkhowtowrite)

Here's a little origin from Randy's village.

Centuries ago, a wicked sorcerer terrorized the village UNTIL the Norisu Nine warriors (Finja and his eight brothers) defeated him once and for all. (Yeah they defeated him early on)

As a result of the sorceror's grudge at being defeated by the Norisu Nine, a curse was imposed on the Norisu Nine and the entirety of their village so that certain plant(s) become engrained in particular parts of their bodies (mostly their heads) and continue to grow like normal plants.

Finja's curse, in particular, is kinda like a tree bark with thorns. He has them on his face, left arm, and hair ends. He'll get pain spikes very often when the plant grows rapidly in a sudden. It's not lethal though.

Unfortunately, The plants that Finja's brothers owned were especially poisonous and lethal, causing them to become ill and ultimately die.

While his brothers were falling sick, Finja, who had the least lethal but still very painful type of plant curse, had been investigating ways to subdue and hold the curse at bay. That is, until he came upon an ancient healing technique in the form of music.

As I previously stated, even the villagers were cursed; some died as a result of the curse, while others survived and raised their offspring to carry on their bloodline.

Fortunately, as generations passed, the plants that the elves carried became less lethal, eventually becoming only a bothersome attribute. Though future elves possesing poisonous plants are rare but still a possibility. For example, Randy, but hes high on shrooms than it being poisonous towards him.

-------- Young Randy met Finja idolising him since hes heard so much from his parents and eventually became friends with him (being a kid sure gives you a lot of free time to invade an old elve's home) (Finja doesnt mind)

After a while with their close bond, Finja decided to take Randy in as an apprentice, mostly in the art of music in healing. ----

So, Miori be from 800 years ago right? What are her thoughts on Finja (First Ninja)? Would they know each other? If so, what kind of relationship would they have? Friends, acquaintances, maybe even enemies?

oh nah they know each other alright…they fuckin hate each other LMAOOOOOOO

originally they did work together n stuff since we have it where miori is in the norisu nine before him (she numebr 4)n stuffs n they worked together n stuff! even after the rest of the norisu nine died. but then shit happens (spoils for later muahaha) and yea nah they don’t like each other. it was like a slow burn for hate lols.

they didn’t do mask reveal tho so finja don’t know who she is n vice versa. i think it would be funny if they have no fucking idea who each other are but see each other on a regular basis lmao.

her story is still sorta kinda half baked and i wanna slow reveal certain things bc they r gonna be revealed in me n the wife shared fic but STILL this was a silly ask ty!!!!!!!!!!

after all Torn Pages is also about First's past too. Im hoping to explore his relationship with his siblings through his relationship with kid Randy, and also hoping to build up some juicy lore for Norrisu Nine's past.

also i dunno about everyone else, but i am of personal opinion that 'brothers' First said, referred to a more metaphorical sense of brotherhood of a ninja clan, rather than solely gender of his family members. In other words i think its booooooring to make all 8 of them guys (and I would go insane designing them kljljkmlkm) so there would be some variety. ;3 (just a fair warning to anyone who has strong opinions about that i guess lol)

Before Randy had been the Ninja, do-or-die situations weren’t literal unless they were in the context of video games; now, Randy was realizing very quickly that the only thing that stood between the Sorcerer and the entire destruction of Norrisville was him, and if he didn’t win this fight, he’d go the way of the Norisu Nine.

Howard was trapped somewhere in the rubble of the school with the rest of their Spanish class, the Tengu Stone might be somewhere in that mess but not somewhere Randy could find it easily, no helpful adults with knowledge they shouldn’t necessarily have had had come by to help him, McFist had scrammed the moment the Sorcerer had threatened him, and the Sorcerer himself had the Nomicon.

Randy would say the situation couldn’t get worse, but that would completely negate the fact that the Sorceress was the reason he was in this mess and he didn’t know where she was, so it getting worse somehow was practically a given.
