Not So Berry: Generation 1. Mint

Motherhood has been hard on Misty. She’s really only had time for work and the kids, and it’s been exhausting. Today she decided to go out to the Humor and Hijinks festival to cause some mischief (because she does love a good prank) and the Pranksters won! She also stirred up some trouble with the voodoo doll she keeps on her at all times XD. Oh, and don’t worry, Jarvian volunteered to stay home and watch the children while she went out to have some fun. He’s the best <3.

Not So Berry: Generation 1. Mint

Shortly after the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies, the family moved. They needed more space, so after a long time of construction (for Jarvian and Misty; not me XD), the family sold what they didn’t take with them and made a home at the new place. They built in Oasis Springs still for Misty’s job, but through all their hard work and saving, they were able to build in the more upscale part of town. So, here’s some pictures of how the first day or two went XD.

*Yes, I did build this house. Did I spend a lot of time and effort on it? No. Is the house literally mashed together with Maxis pre-made rooms? Yes. Did I save this build to my library for some strange reason in the unlikely event that you guys would want me to upload it to The Gallery. Yes. I did and I have many regrets. XD T_T XD

Some more family bonding time over their garden salad dinner <3. Morgan decided to pop in and hang out with the kids in the living room. I LOVE how the friends spend so much time hanging out with Jarvian and Misty that they are basically really good friends with all the kids too. I’m usually not too good at friendships in my Sims playthroughs, but I did a decent job with keeping up relationships for once I would like to think XD.

Meanwhile, after everyone finished dinner, Julius and Mia took over the couch. And Julius is disgusted at Mia’s sleeping habits XD.

Happy birthday sweet Jarvian! You deserve the absolute best.

*All their friends came out to wish Jarvian a happy birthday and Misty made a gourmet cake especially for him. I can’t believe he’s an elder (it seems like just yesterday when I made these two and started the challenge), but they’ve had a good life and a great marriage with lovely children. NOT ME GETTING ALL EMOTIONAL OVER MY SIMS T_T.*

Making friends with the children of your parents’ besties <3. I believe this is Harvey and Maru’s oldest child, but I seriously am not 100% sure XD. Just ignore his current style choices. Believe me. I know XD!

Also, I think they changed clothes because they were in hot weather wear at first, and then they changed into party wear once the dinner started. So, Meredith is giving you guys a good look at all of her clothing options basically XD.

I had Misty grinding away on the analysis machine at work. We got a lot of elements and managed our third breakthrough, but Misty was like having no fun. So, I put on some electronica for her and let her jam. Turns out listening to electronica while doing some monotonous crystal analysis is, in fact, a way to have a good time XD.

Misty convinced Jarvian they needed to go for a bit of a walk around the park. Once they got to a beautiful clearing away from the hustle and bustle of the park, she made her move and KISSED Jarvian first. He was completely caught off guard, but I don’t think he was disappointed <3.

The traditional event of the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies was wild man. Essentially, Misty showed off pictures of her kids to all of her friends and Jarvian decided that he wasn’t going to let his “older” age slow him down. Harvey, Sebastian, and him were frequently out dancing to the club music while Misty did whatever the heck she was doing XD. Misty even called the kids to check up on them before they headed back home for the evening despite Jarvian assuring her that Meredith and Henry had it under control and could handle the likes of Leon and Rose.

Jarvian is just continuing to live his best life and he isn’t going to let age slow him down from woodworking, gardening, cooking, and anything else he wants to do! I gave him a bit of a makeover with his outfits (I can’t remember if I changed his hot weather outfit or not XD) and he looks snazzy in his new everyday wear I think! Also, looks like he’s cooking a chocolate cake, so are we celebrating more birthdays soon? Hmm?
