Not So Berry: Generation 1. Mint

Some more family bonding time over their garden salad dinner <3. Morgan decided to pop in and hang out with the kids in the living room. I LOVE how the friends spend so much time hanging out with Jarvian and Misty that they are basically really good friends with all the kids too. I’m usually not too good at friendships in my Sims playthroughs, but I did a decent job with keeping up relationships for once I would like to think XD.

Meanwhile, after everyone finished dinner, Julius and Mia took over the couch. And Julius is disgusted at Mia’s sleeping habits XD.

Happy birthday sweet Jarvian! You deserve the absolute best.

*All their friends came out to wish Jarvian a happy birthday and Misty made a gourmet cake especially for him. I can’t believe he’s an elder (it seems like just yesterday when I made these two and started the challenge), but they’ve had a good life and a great marriage with lovely children. NOT ME GETTING ALL EMOTIONAL OVER MY SIMS T_T.*

Misty convinced Jarvian they needed to go for a bit of a walk around the park. Once they got to a beautiful clearing away from the hustle and bustle of the park, she made her move and KISSED Jarvian first. He was completely caught off guard, but I don’t think he was disappointed <3.

Jarvian is just continuing to live his best life and he isn’t going to let age slow him down from woodworking, gardening, cooking, and anything else he wants to do! I gave him a bit of a makeover with his outfits (I can’t remember if I changed his hot weather outfit or not XD) and he looks snazzy in his new everyday wear I think! Also, looks like he’s cooking a chocolate cake, so are we celebrating more birthdays soon? Hmm?

It was getting late in the trimester and Misty was desperately hoping that the baby would come soon! Jarvian’s birthday arrived, so Misty decided to throw a party and get all their friends together. Also, Abigail is pregnant too now!! Look at how stunning these two pregnant ladies are!!! I just cannot wait!! ^_^

These two love spending time with their friends and I’m trying to incorporate more social interaction for my Sims in my gameplay because I feel like that’s super realistic. I am bad about either not helping my Sims make friends, or they just make friends, but never hang out with any of them.

Don’t worry. Jarvian is super stoked about the baby as well, but he’s been busy at work and in the garden. He’s also been working on his woodworking skill a lot and making sure the pets are still getting plenty of attention even though Misty is now pregnant. Poor Mia. She even has to put up with stinky hugs from time to time XD.

After the kiss, Jarvian and Misty pried themselves away from each other, so they could do some of the things they personally wanted to do. Jarvian also needed some time to think about what his future with Misty would be like. He is a romantic at heart and he can feel himself growing more and more attached to Misty with each passing day. He only hopes that Misty cares for him as deeply as he cares for her. He decided to do some fishing to help contain his heart.

Once the bread rolls hit and the drinks started kicking in, Misty became a lot more relaxed. She even started to think that Jarvian was pretty cute with his red hair and blue eyes. She complemented him on his looks and Jarvian felt all the weight of that compliment.

It’s Love Day! Jarvian is off today, so he took it upon himself to decorate the cabins and make everything cute. Misty still has her last day of work for the week, but she wasn’t really planning to go out and do anything for Love Day anyway. She isn’t interested in anyone really and she’s thinking she would rather get home from work and just work on her chess skills.

Fun day out at the Oasis Springs park. Misty suggested they go out to the park to get some fresh air and exercise. Jarvian agreed because he really likes spending time with Misty and wanted to try his hand out on fishing, since his plants were not in need of any attention today. Misty has her first day at work tomorrow, so she’s soaking up this nice sunny day while she can and working on beating people at chess.

Jarvian has taken on cooking breakfast and lunch for the family since the twins were born. Misty is still very devoted to her career, as much as her family, while Jarvian has decided to do more “gardening from home” work. He’s still hired on for his expert gardening advice, but he’s happy to spend more time at home with his family and to help Misty support her dream of being a leading scientist in her field. I love these two so much <3 XD!

I like the idea of hunting for eggs, but the animation is quite awful I will say. Jarvian walked into the bathroom at the park to hunt for eggs in the cabinet. He managed to find an egg that was hidden without even looking around, and then he had this weird look on his face XD. I didn’t take any other pictures of them looking for eggs because I hated it so much XD. Sad, but true....

Misty and Jarvian had added the necessary baby furniture to the upstairs portion of the house just in time because the babies have finally arrived!! And yes, Misty had twins XD.
