Whumptober Day 22: Pick Your Poison
Tumblr media
Whumptober masterlist
Ronnie Peterson
Rating: Mature
Word count:
Warnings: Bee sting, anaphylaxis, ambigious ending
Summary: When he’d seen the bee, it had been too late.
Toxic | Withdrawal | Allergic reaction
When he’d seen the bee, it had been too late.
Ronnie had tried to move away and not swat at the bee to make it more angrier, but it had been angry from the start and before he could get away, he felt the sting in his collarbone. His eyes grew worried immediately, searching the area for other joggers. Being this early, there were none.
He searched for the nearest bench, his long legs taking him to it easily. He’d never actually been stung by a bee before and being alone was worrisome. What if he did have an extreme reaction to the bee’s venom? Trying to keep his cool and collected demeanor intact, Ronnie ran a mental check on his extremities, listening if anything felt off.
The spot where the bee had stung him hurt like hell. Pushing his chin down as far as he could go, he saw the stinger still poking out of his skin, the actual bee nowhere to be found. With a wince, Ronnie took hold of the stinger and pulled, shivering in disgust when he felt the stinger leave his skin. His fingers burned from touching the razorblade-like poker and he was glad to throw it far off from him.
He’s barely let his hand fall back to his side when the first wave hit him, the red hives appearing on his arms. They spread out like lightning, itching and highlighting just how pale he was. Ronnie had always been pale, but as he looked at the red spots, he didn’t think he’d been this washed out before.
He ran the next symptoms in his mind, trying to think back to his latest first aid course and what the instructor had told the Centerville PD about bee stings. A swollen throat or tongue, difficulty breathing, stomach pain, dizziness, nausea… He couldn’t even remember all of them. He patted his pockets, trying to locate his phone. Where was his phone? He needed his phone! He needed to call someone! Anyone!
Panic rising, Ronnie rose up from the bench and swayed on his feet. This only made the panic worse since it was one of the symptoms. With shaking hands, he finally located his phone from his back pocket and pulled it out.
9…1…1.
The numbers seemed to jump up and down on the screen erratically and it made it harder to press the right ones. His vision swam, trying to hone in on the small screen - why the hell it was so small - and finally found the call button. Pushing the phone up to his ear, Ronnie sat back down and lifted his shaking fingers to his pulse.
His heart was beating like it was in a race against the time itself. It hammered in his throat and Ronnie tried to pin a single beat that could help him calculate his heart rate. But he couldn’t keep up with it, the erratic way it kept bouncing was impossible to track.
“911, what’s your emergency?”
“I’ve beef… I’f beef… Struf…” He tried to get the words out, but all that came was jumble. His tongue felt like it weight tons and tons and barely fit into his mouth. In his agitation, Ronnie rose up again and began running towards some people entering the park. He could barely distinguish them from blobs at this point. He needed help, immediately.
In his haste and blurry vision, he didn’t see the tree branch hanging low in front of him and ran smack into it. His phone dropped to the ground when his body crumbled, throat closing completely before blackness claimed Ronnie. He didn’t hear the operator on the line.
“Sir! Sir, are you hurt? Sir!”

DS9 trivia from IMDB - Part 1
- Colm Meaney was initially reluctant about signing onto the series. Meaney was comfortable playing O'Brien on an episode by episode basis for Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), and at the time, was unsure if he wanted to play a full time television role.
- Although we only rarely see it, there is an ATM in Quark's bar. It dispenses the various types of currency used by major races visiting the station: Federation credits, Bajoran litas, Cardassian leks, and Ferengi latinum.
- Constable Odo was originally envisioned as a young Clint Eastwood type. When Rene Auberjonois was called in for his audition, the casting director told him that none of the previous actors had been "grouchy enough". So Auberjonois improvised his lines using his most gravelly voice, and secured the role. Odo's scoff eventually became such a character trademark that the screenwriters would often script it into his lines (as "harrumph!"), much to Auberjonois' annoyance.
- Michael Dorn did not want to reprise his role as Worf, since the daily make-up application was exhausting, and he was relieved to be able to move on. Dorn said that the salary he was offered made him reconsider.
- The Dominion storyline was originally only meant to span two episodes. Ronald D. Moore and Ira Steven Behr lobbied to make the storyline on-going, but met with resistance from Executive Producer Rick Berman, who wanted to maintain an episodic format to the series. After Berman left production to oversee the launch of Star Trek: Voyager (1995), Moore and Behr were given more creative control over this series, making the Dominion War the main plot of the show, and adopting a serialized format.
- Wolf 359, mentioned as the battle site between the Borg and the Federation where Sisko lost his wife, is a real star that is seven and a half light-years from Earth.
- In Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Trials and Tribble-ations (1996) when Sisko and Dax see Kirk and Spock, Dax has the hots for Spock. In August 2017, Terry Farrell (Jadzia Dax) got engaged to Adam Nimoy, son of Leonard Nimoy (Spock).
- The jars of "pills" in Dr. Bashir's office were filled with M&Ms. In many instances during the early episodes, the level of the pills would change between shots because crew members kept stealing them. The problem was solved by epoxying the lids in place.
- When Colm Meaney was fitted for his Deep Space Nine uniform, he made two requests of the costume designers. He explained that unlike the officers, the non-commissioned Chief O'Brien was a working man. So he needed to be able to roll up his sleeves, and he needed pockets for his tools. The costume department altered his uniform accordingly.
- The character of Morn (Mark Allen Shepherd), the Lurian bar patron who is always seen sitting at Quark's bar, was written as a nod to the character of Norm Peterson, played by George Wendt on Cheers (1982). Morn is an anagram of Norm. The mask worn by Shepherd originally had no opening for the mouth, so make-up artist Michael Westmore gave him lips over the course of the series, in case the character needed to speak. Several lines for Morn were scripted over the years, but unfortunately for Shepherd, these were always written out at the last moment. So Morn never said one word during the entire run of the show, leading to a running gag where bar patrons, station crew members and civilian residents often mention that Morn is excessively talkative off-screen, and "never shuts up."

The order of appearance of the witnesses will be announced at a later date.
In making public the names of the witnesses, however, I want to emphasize that the mere fact they are being called to testify before the Committee should not be considered a reflection in any way upon their character or patriotism. These persons are being brought with the sole objective of obtaining the facts regarding the inroads the communists have made in Hollywood. Some of the witnesses are friendly to the Committee's purposes. Others are undoubtedly hostile. The Committee wants to hear both sides.

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE COMMITTEE ON UN-AMERICAN ACTIVITIES
U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
- 2 -
The Committee had originally hoped to begin this hearing on September 29. However, a number of unforeseen circumstances have arisen regarding the membership of the Committee which necessitates a delay until October 20, in order that all members may be present for this important hearing. Mr. Mundt and Mr. Nixon are now in Europe as members of Congressional committees studying conditions there. Mr. Veil is convalescing from a recent operation, and Mr. Peterson has informed me that he cannot possibly attend the hearings this month. I feel quite certain, however, that all the members will be available by October 20.
Hearings will begin as scheduled September 24 on the Hanns Eisler phase of this hearing. This cannot be delayed until the October date for the reason that all of the witnesses have been subpoenaed and are in Washington at this time, some having been brought from foreign countries. The announced witnesses in the Hanns Eisler care are as follows:
Sumner Welles
P.C. Hutton, Second Secretary and Consul, Guatemala City, Guatemala
George S. Messermith, former Ambassador to Argentina
Joseph Savoretti, Asst. Commissioner for Adjudication U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.
Clarence R. Porter, Chief Inspector U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.
Hearings will begin in the Caucus Room of the Old House Office Building, at 10:30 A.M., September 24.
I should also like to announce at this time that I intend to make a nation-wide radio address early in October relative to the Hollywood hearing."

  Zbigniew Brzezinski
Miembros Directivos del Council on Foreign Relations:

Royal Institute of International Affairs de Londres (Chatam House)

Ronnie misses you. He misses you a lot.
You’re away in Philadelphia for a few days on business and he can’t stand not waking up next to you, not having you home when he comes home after a long and very mundane shift at the station, not falling asleep next to you, and he finds it especially hard not having you around when he needs some...relief.
You mean everything to him; you’re the center of his universe, everything he does is because of you. He’s so in love with you, his heart hurts sometimes, bursting with the sheer pride and pure love he feels for you. And, it doesn’t hurt that you’re as much of a sexual deviant as he is.
His knee bounces as he sits in his chair, typing up a police report, trying desperately to ignore the bulge currently pressing desperately against his work trousers. He grunts under his breath every time he shifts, involuntarily providing friction for his erection. It seems like every time he’s finally gotten it down to a manageable hardness, something happens that forces him to move and bring himself right back to where he started: Hard as a fucking rock.
Soon, he has no choice but to succumb to his body’s needs once the station clears out, quickly rushing into the single bathroom, closing and locking the door behind him. His length throbs as his eyebrows furrow, groaning softly as he finally, finally pulls his pants down and the cool air of the station tickles his newly exposed skin.
He knows this is wrong, knows he shouldn’t be doing this, not here. But...the thought of touching himself here, in a partially-public restroom, makes him absolutely throb with arousal. He wants you to see it, wants you to be a part of it.
Ronnie wants you to know what a dirty, filthy boy he is.
So, he wraps a hand around his cock and immediately, his hips buck forward into his palm. He’s been waiting days for this moment, and his cock is so sensitive, tears are already forming in his eyes as he pumps his thick, veiny shaft.
You tell him all the time how impressive he is, how long and girthy he is, how he curves in just the right way to hit all the pleasure spots inside your walls. He likes to believe that he was made to pleasure you, to be inside you, much like a key fits into a lock.
Once he’s completely hard, he pulls out his phone to text you.
Ronnie: What are you doing right now?
You’re in the middle of a meeting when you feel your phone buzz on your thigh.
Y/N: In a meeting. Why? Did something happen?
He smirks to himself, snapping a picture of his dick for you.
Ronnie: Attachment: 1 image
Ronnie: Yeah, you’ve been away for three days. I’m in desperate need of your attention...will you help me?
You quickly put a hand over your mouth, muffling the soft moan that escapes your lips. Your legs quickly cross, thighs rubbing together to soothe the developing ache between your thighs.
Y/N: Oh, Ronnie...look at you, pumping your pathetic cock in the station bathroom like a disgusting slut. I bet you’re already close, aren’t you?
His eyes widen and he shoves his mouth into his arm, muffling the desperate cry that comes out of his mouth. God, you always know the right things to say to get him wound up.
Ronnie: I’ve been so fucking hard since you left, baby. Woke up all hard and ready for you, ready for your little pussy, but you’d already left. Had to get up and go to work before I could take care of it, and by the time I get home at night, I’m just too tired.
The thought of Ronnie being rock hard all day, sitting at his desk and trying not to touch himself is one that turns you on more than it probably should.
Y/N: You poor baby...oh, I bet you’re so full, hm? Are your balls heavy, so full of the seed you’ve been saving up? Three days without your fiancee has you fucking your hand in the station restroom, how pathetic. And you’ll probably get hard again ten minutes after you cum all over the sink like some fucking teenager.
He almost falls over, white-knuckling the counter as he ruts into his hand, sweat forming on his brow.
Ronnie: Call me. Now. Need to hear your voice.
You slip out unnoticed, thankful that this was an entire-group meeting and not one of the smaller ones you’d been attending the past two days. Your finger presses the ‘call’ icon next to Ronnie’s name as you go to the single-person restroom, locking the door.
He picks up almost immediately, breath heavy through the speaker.
“Baby.”
Your knees shake at the desperation in his whisper.
“Disgusting pervert.”
His soft growl crawls through the small speaker, sending a shiver down your spine.
“I’m s-so close. Please, baby, p-please...”
“Yeah?”
You say, smirking.
“Are you gonna make a mess in the bathroom, Ronnie? Gonna cover the sink in your filthy cum like the little pervert I know you are?”
Ronnie’s practically sobbing, hips having a mind of their own as his cock takes over, chasing release.
“Y-Yeah, yeah, I’m g-gonna shoot my big f-fat fucking load onto the s-sink.”
You bite your lip, rubbing your thighs together.
“Is it gonna be a big one, baby? Ooooo, I bet it is, it’s gonna be so fucking big and hot.”
His glutes clench as he rocks harshly into the tight ‘O’ his hand has made, tip drooling precum as he teeters on the edge of orgasm.
“Gonna b-be so big, all f-for you, baby.”
He breathes, balls clenching as they prepare for release.
“Video c-call? Can we s-switch over?”
“Sure, baby, sure.”
You switch over to FaceTime, camera on you while your handsome fiance points his towards the mirror, turning himself to the side so that you can see his impressive length as he pumps it with vigor.
“Mmm, look at you, so desperate. Put the camera closer to your big cock, wanna see how nice and hard it is for me.”
Ronnie groans softly, biting his lip as he tilts the camera down to focus on his cock. You chew your lip as your eyes roam his length, tip slick and bright red, veins bulging out. You wish you could trace the tip of your tongue over the blue-green patterns.
“D-Do you see it, baby?”
He asks, breathily.
“Mmhmm, yeah I see. I see my fiance being a dirty, disgusting slut. Pumping your little cock when anyone could interrupt and see you like a horny fucking teenager. Can’t go three days without touching yourself, it’s shameful, really.”
His throaty growl comes through the speaker, and you can almost see the way his cock throbs, pulses in his palm.
“I had to step out of a fucking meeting to watch this? Watch my horny fiance jerk off in the middle of the work day? You better cum soon and you better make this all worth it.”
He pumps himself furiously, quickly turning and walking up to the sink.
“Y-Yeah, yeah I’ll make it w-worth it. I’ll show y-you my big load, show y-you all the cum I’ve kept f-for you.”
“Well, let’s get it over with then. Make a mess on the counter, mark it with your dirty cum.”
You say, pretending to sound annoyed, knowing it drives him nuts.
Your words send him over the edge, and you watch the camera shake a bit as rope after rope of creamy release shoots out onto the counter. Ronnie’s breath is shaky, exhaling through his teeth as he strokes himself through it.
“Thank you, honey.”
Ronnie breathes, lifting the camera up so that you can see the load.
You smile, cheeks warming at the sight of it. It was big, really big, and it always turned you on when he came a lot.
“Can I see you?”
You ask, smiling even wider when he turns the camera around to face him.
“There’s my handsome man.”
He blushes, always getting flustered when you say things like that.
“And there’s my beautiful, amazing fiancee.”
“I really do have to get back to my meeting, darling, but I’ll be home tonight. I’m so excited to see you.”
His lips pull up into a bright smile as he thinks about finally seeing you tonight again.
“I’m excited too, honey. I’ll repay you for this when you get home.”
He winks, making you giggle softly, biting your lip.
“I’m looking forward to it, Officer Peterson.”

I’m having an obsession with apocalypse Ronnie, so I drew him.
The black undershirt is now a little faded and covered in blood, as is his uniform slacks.
His utility belt has come in most useful, now equipped with a holster for his machete.
How his glasses have remained in tact, he’ll never know but his hair is now a little longer and messy.
