Today I have some KimChay thoughts!

First, I forgot that a bigger mystery than whether KimChay side story is real (or why they are not announcing it) is why there isn't an English version of Why Don't You Stay yet. And I wonder if these two things are connected by any chance.

And second - I know everyone is wondering how Kim knew where Chay was (both when he was partying and that he is at the Yok bar), but for good reason his nickname is Kimlock Holmes. I wonder what exactly Chay did when he left the bar. Where he washed the paint off his hair. How Porsche explained EVERYTHING to him. I seriously need a Chay-Porschay side story where they just talk. And talk. And talk more. Walking around the mansion and encountering other characters to make explaining easier.

With all the “Payu is VegasPete son and Prapai is KinnPorsche” craze (which to be fair is less loud than it was 5 weeks ago) I am kinda suprised that I haven’t seen any side by side pictures or gifsets with Kinn and Prapai standing with their hands on their hips because like... I haven’t seen any better expamle of the resemplance of this two characters than this.

ofc u can, but really, the confusing names are only the first letters of the characters’ names in the ship.

Therefore, ‘GR’ is for Gerri/Roman (from Succession) fic I’ve started writing knowing that it will never see the light of day (I am way too intimidated by that series’ writing and the lingo I’d have to acquire to feel even half-decently prepared to make it readable haha). It’s also canon-compliant and based in the “plot-world” which is always a challenge for me (at least in my head). That story is a bunch of “first times” when other characters learn of the existence of the peculiar relationship of Gerri and Roman. It’s meant to be fun mostly, characters’ reactions and Gerri’s observations about the whole thing with feels™ sprinkled all over. What I already have is written from Gerri’s pov and I’d guess I’d continue this way if I’ll ever do pick it up again.

And JB is Jaime/Brienne (from ASoIaF) and it’s an AU in haute couture world. Jaime is a famous designer (going against his father's wishes ofc) who’s kinda lost his way and slowly descends from his “glory” until one day he meets Brienne behind the scenes of Stark’s show (she works for them) and inspired makes a gown for her/about her that is something very different from what he’s previously done. And from then on starts a weird game of Jaime trying to convince her to work for him/with him and his almost overwhelming craving to create a show leaving his previous works in the past. It’s written in Jaime’s pov and would have continued on that path. All his designs were supposed to be very much connected to the women in his life and fueled by his feelings in general. I thought it would be a fun thing to dive deeper into that and show it out in a more tangible way, let’s say. And there are, of course, feels™ cause why else would I write a fic hahaha.

So yeah, there it is. The simplest way out of the naming files enigma haha.

ofc article 13 doesn't say directly it will ban memes and it WASN'T designed to ban memes for fucks sake and ofc ppl are overreacting a little BUT the facts are (as I understand them): 1) article 13 says that before you upload anything to online platform it will have to be checked by content recognition machine 2) memes use copyrighted material 3) they MIGHT not go through the content recognition depending on what the algorithm will be and what is rightholders attitude towards memes. (2/2) And I think this is what ppl fear and why it is so controversial. Bc sure probably article 13 was written in good intentions but is too general to be sure about how it will be implemented and there CAN be side-effects of it. And memes are only tbh v caricatural example come on it’s not rly about memes.
