( koo junhoe / ju-ne , cis-male , he/him ) : ̗̀➛ twenty-six years young , a fire bender from the noble house of jeon . many know them to be unintelligent & disoriented . how unfortunate , truly … i’ve always found them to be earnest & charming . they oft fulfill the duties of a cultural advisor . oh , i should tell you — they are impartial to the rule of house yi . well , you know how every storyteller bends the tale they tell .
hullo again friends! lyna back with another brain child named jeon joonsoo. he's a big ole himbo essentially lol - a pretty face with a heart full of gold and a head full of rocks. fairly opposite to yeongja, joonsoo is a very warm, happy, friendly guy who always means well and loves showering people in compliments and affection! he's a serial flirt cause of this though, so be careful! his commitment issues are through the roof! he's a cultural advisor at the capital and improvises his way through a lot of his public facing job, because it's easy enough to charm his way through, rather than being a historian or something that requires more intellect. he knows all the latest trends and fashions, keeps up with current affairs, represents the fine tradition of fire bending and dabbles in art (rather horribly, but he's very unaware how bad his poetry, dancing, and painting is). let me know if you wanna plot with him!

is pretty oblivious to politics and political tensions and likes to keep it that way - ignorance is bliss
grew up a mama's boy. between that and being unintelligent his mother kept a close eye on him. wasn't really favoritism, it was more so to make sure he didn't accidentally unalive himself by doing something stupid.
was definitely made fun of as a kid but he didn't really realize what was going on so he just laughed along with everyone. he has a good natured spirit and a lot of stuff rolls off his back because of this.
a decent enough firebender. nothing special, but not disappointing either. he's good enough to represent the culture behind it, which is what matters for his profession. not a big tournament / agni kai guy, he prefers to show a more artistic side to fire bending.
his teen years were is glow up ~ he got hella pretty and all of a sudden he had friends? wow! how cool!
enjoys his casual reading because casual reading is intensive reading for him, so he reads a lot of romance novels which is where he gets his casanova style flirting from.
dude is pretty charming! very earnest, and so he throws his all into his wooing and flirting, so no matter how bad his flirting actually is he sells it through his charms.
woos all the ladies. he uses his pretty words, and when that doesn't work he brings out the poetry and dancing, sometimes singing. his poetry and dancing are AWFUL but he's unaware and does it all with sincerity. his singing is okay though! but he's shy about it so he doesn't do it as often.
despite all his flirting, he has a terrible fear of commitment! when a lady he has been wooing floats the idea of officially courting, he runs for the hills and starts flirting with three other girls. this gets him into trouble a lot.

treats his guyfriends like gold! many cheek smooches, gotta kiss the homies goodnight.
has no thirst for any advancement or power, he's content with where he's at. eventually he'll marry a nice girl from another vassal house or maybe minor nobility and just live out his days doing the things he likes.

perhaps someone who picked on him as a kid and still picks on him for being stupid but he doesn't realize he's being picked on and thinks they're friends.

people who find him utterly annoying, but again he doesn't clue in that he's annoying them. this can go in many directions!
genuine friends! he's a friendly guy, so anything from acquaintances to besties are welcome and wanted!
this guy is meant to be my more lighthearted character so i'm looking for more positive relationships overall for him (as yeongja seems to have mostly negative relationships and a balance is healthy~). he is also big comic relief so if you want shenanigans and bafoonery he's your guy! every drama has that dumb guy side character after all!

Nice Triple Axel. Hand down on the Triple Lutz. Nice spin. Short on the second jump of the Triple-Triple combo and stepped out. Nice spin. Nice step sequence. Nice spin.
That was a good skate from Joonsoo Kim. Two slight mistakes, but a fun program.

Baekhyun slumped into the open spot on the bench next to you, turning his head to look at your direction, exhaustion written all over his face, he smiled softly. You were holding the youngest of your two children, six month old Joonsoo, the only son who was a carbon copy of his father, as he slept.
“I hope he has your calm personality,” he whispered, peering over at the sleeping baby. “Joonhee may look identical to you but has double my energy.”
You chuckled, nodding in agreement. While your oldest was your splitting image, she took after her father in seemingly every other aspect.
“At least she’ll be sleeping well tonight,” you commented looking up and seeing your daughter coming down a slide before running back for another turn. She stopped before climbing onto the slide, turning and heading to the edge of the jungle gym, reaching up to the monkey bars, connecting it to another jungle gym. Unfortunately, she wasn’t tall enough to reach. “I think you’re gonna have to help her use those.”
He looked up just in time to see her turn to look at the two of you, calling out for help.
“Round two here we go,” he said, rising from the bench and rushing over, lifting her up and holding her as she crossed the monkey bars, cheering when she was able to do the last few bars on her.

Eunhee hated to admit when she struggled with something. She would much rather pretend like she had everything under control and that she was more than happy with what she was capable of. However, she knew that if she was going to be a good leader, and that if she was going to be highlighting and pointing out her members’ shortcomings for constructive criticism purposes, then she would have to highlight her own. She had never been the best dancer. She could keep up with WISH’s choreography and she had a good sense of rhythm after years of training, but she still found herself struggling from time to time. Who better to help her with that then one of the best dancers in the industry? She stepped into the practice room in the middle of pulling her hair up into a ponytail, making sure all of the strands were pulled away from her face. “Hey, oppa,” she greeted once she spotted Joonsoo there. “Sorry I’m so late, I had practice with the girls.”

US Nationals Men’s SP Pt. 2
And we’re back with the final group of the men’s short programs. It’s been an amazing competition so far for the men. Let’s see if they can keep it up.
Ryan Dunk makes his senior debut today. He’s nervous. Only a double axel and a triple-double. He’s got very nice lines and some good expressions during this ballad, so I see some potential. But he’s going to need those jumps to even register. It’s not a bad a program. Kind of nice, but not a knockout, look at me! type.
Jordan Moeller is another skater that is all legs. Not a bad thing, just something I notice. Ouch! That was a very bad fall. Crowd cheering him on in support. He lands his triple-triple cleanly and his triple lutz as well. He’s actually very pleasant to watch. He’s really into the music and the style suits him. It’s not classic ballet but more contemporary. I don’t know, it’s hard to describe, but he’s really pleasant to watch.
Side note: I didn’t know Kori Ade moved her school to Tennessee. I’m not surprised. She lost her two best students. Just wasn’t something I heard.
Joonsoo Kim is next. Another senior debut. He’s nervous but held onto that double axel. That was probably meant to be a triple. Slight delay in his triple-double. Oh no, he doubled his last jump. That’s not good. I love this song and he dedicates it to his friends and family who helped him when he was thinking of leaving the sport. I know he wanted to skate well. Poor thing, he is upset.
Jason Brown’s programs are amazing this year. He does need the quad and soon but his skills alone are strides ahead of most of the others. There’s a maturity about him this season that just makes his programs so mesmerizing. Starts off with an easy triple. Lands the triple axel cleanly. Remember when he was just starting and the axel was so wonky. Spins are better than most women and now he sells it. This footwork reminds me of Kevin Aymoz’s footwork. Just heads above most others. This is his best short program and the best he’s ever performed it. Aw he hugged a flower girl. HOLY CRAP!!!! LOOK AT THAT SCORE! He’s is second for now and that’s without a quad.
Tomoki Hiwatashi has not impressed me the few times I’ve seen him skate. I say that but I think I liked this program. I think it’s because he gets into it. He lands his quad and the triple axel. So he’s really getting into the choreography. My problem with Tomoki is he doesn’t hold the character the whole program. He drops it and then looks completely blank. That said he is performing the hell out this today. I take back what I just said. That was an awesome performance. Excellent score, but damn we have so many good men that he’s in 5th.
Jimmy Ma had one of the most viral short programs ever a few years but has struggled since then. I hope he does well tonight. And it looks like he’s going back to a style similar to his viral short. Turns out of his quad, but gets the triple axel. He looks angry? He skates with a lot of speed. Oh no, falls on his triple-triple so he loses the points of the combo. That’s the worst one to do that on. I love a man that’s brave enough to skate to music like this. I kind of which the ladies would be braver and bolder in music choice. Damn that was a good performance but that combo is going to hurt him. 12th isn’t bad but not where he wanted.
So we end the night with Nathan, Jason, and Andrew in the top three. Followed by Vincent, Tomoki, and Alex K. And honestly, 2nd through 5 are only separated by 6 points so anything could happen. Til tomorrow!!!

on bended knee, wearing the finest silks he owns, glistening eyes peering upwards at his lady dear, lord jeon joonsoo repeats a routine he knows all too well. new words, same methods, joonsoo takes the lady rei's hand gently into his own as he bores his eyes into hers, gazing into her soul... or something to that effect.
"my lady… my thoughts cloud of your divine likeness." he professes to her, his expression growing somewhat pained while still maintaining that sheer adoration for her. he tears his eyes away briefly, biting his his knuckle to soothe the ache in his heart. he looks back up to her with a dramatic whip of his head, taking a deep breath and releasing it with a heavy sigh. "i had to come see you to quell my thoughts and feed my heart's inner yearnings."
oh yes, this was not the first time lord joonsoo had professed such affection and desire for the lady rei. she was beautiful, talented, kind-hearted, what was there not to long for? she was everything he could ask for in a woman and more. and so here he was, on bended knee, bringing her delicate hand to his chest and pressing it against his heart. "could you please work your miracles and heal this throbbing heart that longs for your gaze?"

it’s safe to say teddy wasn’t particularly excited about the next hour of his life. its not that he wasn’t looking forward to spending time with joonsoo, its just been a long time since has actually been to a gym. working out was never something that appealed to him and only did so when he was feeling extra motivated. lately he’s been feeling a little insecure about his skinny frame but he would never admit that out loud. he knew he needed the enragement along his was to his fitness goals so who better then to ask then joonsoo? he knew he was very into the gym and teddy wanted to understand his passion for working out. i had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he was going to to see a sweaty (maybe shirtless) joonsoo up close and personal.
after placing his things in a locker in the changing room he walked to his friend who was waiting for him. “alright, let get the show on the road! i’m ready for are nice, easy, relaxing work out sesh.” teddy states half joking. he knows its wishful thinking that joonsoo will go easy on him but it’s worth a shot.

Nice Triple Axel combo. Under on that Triple Axel. Fall on the Triple Loop, looked under. A bit crooked and not a lot of height on that Triple Flip, looked under again. Nice spin. Solid Triple-Triple. A bit under on the second jump of that combo. Nice step sequence. Nice spin. Freak fall at the end of that choreo sequence. Nice spin.
That was a rough program from Joonsoo Kim. It’s a shame, because he’s a lot better than that, but that was rough. A couple of falls, some under rotations. Just not his day.

closed starter for fmdjoonsoo!
for all the rooms surrounding the pair, both luna and joonsoo were creating quite an ambiance. even through the thick walls of their room, their belting and giggles were heard. it definitely seemed bizarre, though - two idols, who didn’t drink much to begin with, getting drunk and singing their hearts out at a norabang. when the idea had came up, mi-cha was surprisingly down. after all, the two had been close for quite some time now, their friendship tracing back to trainee days. so, she wasn’t too embarrassed to be drinking alongside the male.
"ah, joonsoo, look!” she gasped, tugging on the other’s arm to get his attention. pointing to the screen, the girl turned to the older with an eager smile on her face. it was very rare for micha to be so antsy- when sober, hardly anything got her as excited as she was now. but she was truly happy, there were seldom times where she saw the other, especially in an environment like this.
“silhouette’s up and down. let’s do it! if i’m being honest, i think i’m a better singer.” trying her best to look conceited, she downed a shot - only to burst into laughter. even though she was teasing, she couldn’t take herself seriously. she knew for sure the main vocalist had more talent in the singing category. but that wasn’t going to stop her from singing her heart out.
“come on, joonsoo! you’re not scared of a little challenge, are you? whoever gets the lowest score has to drink, and you have to promise me you’ll do the dance.”

"our song is the slam of screendoors, sneaking out late, tapping on your window." voice murmured, song fluttering under his breath, sebastian roamed a corridor of BC headquarters. calling it that tasted quite frais on the plane of his tongue. although, it couldn't be the furthest from the truth. BCE, cool? sebastian snorted, strumming a note purposefully out of tune, the callouses on the tips of his fingers cutting through the strings of his guitar.
but he could credit his manager for being so thoughtful. ("i know someone who can help you with the guitar." "i don't need help." "he can teach more than youtube.") and the debate went on, and it was still ongoing despite sebastian halting in front of a famous practice room. "i can't believe i'm about to do this," sebastian muttered to himself, nostrils flaring with a strong exhale.
raising his knuckles, he knocked on the door and rocked on the heels of his feet waiting for an answer. maybe another member, but sebastian didn't want to deal with another face, either. in that light or lack of, he was difficult. but it was his luckiest unlucky day. "hey, i have a favour to ask you."
