Uploading this from my Wattpad randomness book about joining the Yoohoo Monster cult with Null over my first Goonya Monster fanfic(that happens to be a crossover cause I was brainrotting on it lol)that is a spin on that whole topic.

I’ve settled on the title of Yoohoo Monster: Monsters Unchained for the story. Even though I have a bit of a basic idea for a plot, there are a few things that I know will be in it. First off, there may be minor spoilers to Goonya Monster. The full game won’t be spoiled in case anyone wants to give it a shot and go enjoy the phenomenal story.

Second, Monsters and Undead. I love the idea on Monsters being transformed animals in this case since early on in the game it’s revealed that the Monsters are transformed humans; I even love the idea on making the Undead animals as well, so expect to see those things too.

Thirdly, I really enjoy blending season two of the OG Yoohoo cartoon with a hint of Yoohoo to the Rescue, the modern version of the franchise. This is the topic I’ll be rooting for while still following the genera the second season was aiming for. The story itself won’t be like the actual second season since dark humor will appear every once in awhile as well as out of character shenanigans despite being in the season two world.

Fourth, Chaos Roodee will be in this story(I’m so used to my Sonic the Hedgehog Yoohoo AU so bear with me). It would make sense for him to be in the AU and such because of the Monster potion Orcinus receives from Team Virus in the Goonya Monster world, but he will be getting a few changes here and there like how I’m doing him in Yoohoo the Senegal, one being that he won’t be angry all the time. I wanna save some other things for a later date cause I wanna have Chaos Roodee for this AU be a bit of a surprise.

Finally, I might use some of the Yoohooed designs I’ve done for the Goonya Monster cast for this story, since I figure it would be fun to see the main five interacting with the other characters as a whole. Manta also might be in it too since I love to add my OCs in my works.

I’ll have to do designs of course, and they’ll be uploaded here when they’re done. This definitely is going to be one of my more fun projects, and I hope you all are excited for it too!

ELLE DÉCODE LE RÉGIME DES ÉPAULARDS

Une biologiste marine de l’Université McGill, Anaïs Remili, a trouvé la clef pour comprendre la diète des épaulards de l’Atlantique Nord. Voici comment elle y est parvenue.

Anaïs Remili est écotoxicologue. Elle étudie l’effet des polluants sur les mammifères marins. Elle s’inquiète pour les épaulards qui sont parmi les animaux les plus contaminés au monde. Pour mieux comprendre comment ces baleines à dents s’alimentent et à quel point elles sont affectées par les polluants, elle a voyagé jusqu’en Islande et en Norvège.

Repousser les limites de la biologie marine

Personne avant Anaïs n’avait entrepris de décoder avec précision le régime alimentaire de l’épaulard de l’Atlantique Nord. Anaïs y est parvenue en analysant des biopsies, c’est-à-dire des morceaux de peau et de graisse d’épaulards.

Prélever les biopsies : tout un défi !

Lorsqu’ils sont en mer, les chercheurs prélèvent les biopsies sur les épaulards avec un pistolet à fléchettes. Approcher l’animal en bateau, ce n’est pas simple : la mer bouge, le bateau bouge, la baleine bouge ! « Il faut être un bon tireur pour atteindre le cétacé au bon endroit, juste derrière sa nageoire dorsale, affirme Anaïs. »

La scientifique avoue que, même si elle s’est préparée, qu’elle a pris ses pilules anti-mal de mer, ces journées-là, il vaut mieux les laisser tranquilles!

Être en mer, proche des épaulards, c’est magique. Mais Anaïs regagne avec plaisir son laboratoire pour effectuer ses analyses. Elle y joue au détective et mène son enquête !

Des résultats surprenants !

À partir de la graisse de l’animal, elle sait ce que ce dernier a l’habitude de manger. Les épaulards vivent en groupes familiaux à travers l’Atlantique Nord. Les résultats d’Anaïs ont démontré que chaque groupe a ses propres préférences alimentaires, un peu comme des tribus qui ont chacune leurs traditions culinaires. Certains mangent des mammifères marins alors que d’autres se spécialisent et ne se nourrissent que de poisson.

S’empoisonner en mangeant

Certains groupes d’épaulards sont plus affectés par les polluants que d’autres. Cela dépend de ce qu’ils mangent.

« Plus l’épaulard mangera des baleines et des phoques, plus il sera contaminé et à l’inverse, plus il mangera du poisson, moins il sera contaminé, explique Anaïs. »

Les polluants aiment le gras et s’y accumulent. Comme les mammifères marins ont une épaisse couche de graisse pour se protéger du froid, ce sont les proies les plus intoxiquées.

 

Sont-ils malades ?

Anaïs le reconnaît, elle ne peut pas simplement ausculter avec un stéthoscope les épaulards pour voir comment ils se portent ! En revanche, on sait déjà que les polluants peuvent mettre en danger leur capacité à se reproduire et à se défendre contre les maladies. Grâce aux recherches d’Anaïs, les biologistes cibleront maintenant plus facilement les groupes d’épaulards qu’il faut garder à l’œil.

Aquatic animals

These fish were really colourful when I designed them so I thought they'd fit really well amongst tropical fish in coral reefs.

When I designed these, I always had the theme of lava or magma in my mind so it only made sense for them to be fire affinity. I decided to add in light as well as real magma glows. If it did ever become a real game too, I feel like it could have a lot of visual impact when swimming like fireflies often do in media. (a film that comes to mind as a good example of this is the last dinosaur)

One thing that I saw a lot in my game research was designers creating recolours for variety as it not only saves on resources, but is an easy way to make a world feel more populated. A swamp biome is something I don't see often in media but I feel like it is really underappreciated so I had to have a swamp biome. Swamps often have a lot of water and a few different fish species can thrive there. When I looked at the design, I realized that you could interpret the darker markings as tree bark.

I picked earth affinity for these guys as I didn't feel like any others fit and having a water affinity fish sounds boring, especially in a biome like this.

I made them larger than the other version because they only have one affinity rather than two. They feed off of bark and moss found in the swamps which helps to maintain the health of the plants in the area.

This robot is based of the real life orca which is currently endangered due to overfishing creating a lack of food. They are incredibly important to a lot of indigenous mythologies and cultures but have a reputation outside of them for being killers although they are completely harmless to humans in the wild which is where the nickname "killer whale" comes from even though they are dolphins. The genus name Orcinus means "of the kingdom of the dead"

"The indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast feature orcas throughout their art, history, spirituality and religion. The Haida regarded orcas as the most powerful animals in the ocean, and their mythology tells of orcas living in houses and towns under the sea. According to these myths, they took on human form when submerged, and humans who drowned went to live with them. For the Kwakwaka'wakw, the orca was regarded as the ruler of the undersea world, with sea lions for slaves and dolphins for warriors. In Nuu-chah-nulth and Kwakwaka'wakw mythology, orcas may embody the souls of deceased chiefs. The Tlingit of southeastern Alaska regarded the orca as custodian of the sea and a benefactor of humans.The Maritime Archaic people of Newfoundland also had great respect for orcas, as evidenced by stone carvings found in a 4,000-year-old burial at the Port au Choix Archaeological Site.

In the tales and beliefs of the Siberian Yupik people, orcas are said to appear as wolves in winter, and wolves as orcas in summer. Orcas are believed to assist their hunters in driving walrus. Reverence is expressed in several forms: the boat represents the animal, and a wooden carving hung from the hunter's belt. Small sacrifices such as tobacco or meat are strewn into the sea for them"

Real life orcas range in size from 5-8m so I chose to make mine the largest in that range. This is so that they are easily spotted and not disturbed by anyone. Their colouring is also reversed from what you would typically see in order to make them more visible as well. Unlike a lot of the robots in this world, these weren't adapted by the AI and always had defensive mechanisms in place so that they were more likely to be left alone.

Their quickest speed is 34.8MPH but I rounded that up and made a range instead as it makes sense for them to be able to swim quicker as robots.

Unlike their real life counterparts, these travel alone rather than in groups so they can cover more range overall when cleaning the seas.

"petrichor - the pleasant smell that accompanies the first rain after a long period of dry weather" for Ghost AU?

He wants to believe that the day cannot get much worse. After unrest at the haven in the morning, a bogus rumor about a supply train coming through the area, and nearly being caught by ADVENT, there wasn’t much left to go right.

Bradford would say it cannot get much worse, but the dark clouds overhead warn him to be cautious. With any luck, he will make it back to the haven still mostly dry.

A sense of unease washes over him and he cannot help but to glance over his shoulder. There is nothing behind him but trees, of course. The sense of unease does not dissipate, and he hopes it is just from the incoming storm.

The wind picks up and he knows his time is quickly running out. Bradford turns up the collar of his coat against the wind and tries to hurry back to the haven before the storm breaks.

He does not make it much further before the rain starts falling, going from little drops to a downpour in mere heartbeats.

Something bright white catches his eye among the trees, bringing Bradford to a stop despite getting soaked.

“Tanya?”

The figure turns and disappears into the foliage, the hem of her coat whipping around her knees from the wind.

“Wait!” Bradford runs after her, stumbling through the brush. It’s thick already, and the rain only makes it more unmaneuverable. In his heart he knows that no human could have pushed through so quickly, but he still tries regardless. He hasn’t seen her — whatever it was she was — in months now, and so he had to try.

He slips on some mud and collapses into a bush. For a moment, he just stays there to wallow in his hurt.

Then, over the sound of the howling wind and rain, he hears the unmistakable sound of alien garbling. They have to be close for him to hear them, he knows, so he stays out of sight until he is sure that they have passed.

By the time he gets up again Bradford is thoroughly soaked, but he is at least safe for the moment.

He can’t help but to glance around again, but there is no shock of bright white anywhere around him. He mumbles a quiet thanks under his breath as though afraid someone might hear him, then he hurries back to the haven to dry off.

The only sign of the rain the next morning is the fresh smell of the air, like a ghost of what once was.

Orcinus x Spark of Genius: So, IIRC, Tokoyami is the OFA holder in Orcinus. What would his specialty as a Spark be, do you think? Also, what if him and Dark Shadow both got Spark-ified?

Well, seeing as Sparks are a Quirk subtype, and Tokoyami's Quirk is sentient, and One For All connects to its holders Quirk to empower it, I think it stands to reason that Dark Shadow gets to be a Spark.

As for their specialty? It has to be the macabre.

At A Party Kiss

He’s not quite sure what it comes from, but there is something magic in the air.

It might have something to do with the alcohol — too much already in his system and still too much available to drink.

Most likely, it’s all the lingering emotions from the wedding. Lýdie and Jaromír made a beautiful couple, and the ceremony they had only echoed it. The festivities are only made all the better accented with the cool Prague evening.

John leans back and takes a deep breath, letting himself enjoy the moment, separated from the chaos around him. Several of the American Merciers were in attendance, but by and far most of the attendees were Czech. Without Tatiana around to help translate for him, he couldn’t do much else other than relax and drink.

As though thinking of her had summoned her, he hears the click of her heels against the pavement, uncharacteristically uneven — whether from drinking or just the heels themselves, he’s not sure.

He opens his eyes to see Tatiana leaning over the back of his chair to grin at him. “Enjoying yourself?” she asks.

“More now that you’re back,” he retorts.

She laughs and steps around his chair to sit in his lap. She takes his face in her hands and kisses him without a care in the world as to who might see them. They’re both breathless when they part, though neither make any move to lean away to get more air.

“Are you sober enough to stand?” she asks after a moment.

“Yes, why?”

Tatiana pushes herself out of his lap and grabs his hand. “There’s still time to dance,” she says.

He laughs, but doesn’t need prompting twice to stand. “Are you sure you can dance, especially in those heels?” he retorts, pointedly looking down at them.

She pouts at him without any anger, then kicks her shoes off beside his chair. “Problem solved,” she retorts. “Let’s go.”

He follows her to the dance floor and thinks that nothing could ruin the night.
