Hey tails I saw Shadow was going around here recently so I wanted to ask, What do you think of him?

Shadow? Well, uh.

I don't really have any negative opinions about him, if that's what you're digging for.

Sure, his morals can be questionable, and he gets into fights with Sonic or me from time to time, but he comes through when it really matters. He's a dangerous enemy and an excellent asset.

Hes still quite the mystery though. Weird how little you can know a person when you know enough about his creation that you could make another if you so felt like it.

ok so ive only been playing my bg3 durge playthrough kinda sporadically (i also spent like 20 hours on a character i abandoned before coming back to my original durge because i love him so much) and it's wild how im simultaneously finding SO MUCH stuff i missed or just didnt get in my first playthrough while also tearing through the game like 3X as fast because ive got combat down now and can skip a lot of dialog lol

#like i remember feeling like the shadow cursed lands went on FOREVER the first time #now it feels like im breezing through it #even though i found a whole fucking area i managed to miss the first time #and i KNOW i didnt free the prisoners at moonrise first time and idek how i fucked that one up #so im about to do that #the next update patch thingy sounds good also it sounds like their adding some like native mod support? #and they buffed out some of Wyll's lines though i still need them to give him and laezel more complex personal interactions #would u believe i have not fully played out astarion's romance #i was doing that on the character i sunk 20 hours into but i just didnt like how it was going and my mental rp wasnt lining up #SO im planning to romance him when i do an Evil playthrough

I admittedly don't know if there are enough examples of this for it to count as a 'real' trope or whatever, but one thing I like in fiction is when a character starts out with a picture of or memento from someone they once had a relationship of some kind with, who is no longer around and/or wasn't good for them, and at the end of the story they have a new token or picture of or for their new family and friends to show how far they've come, and all their new, healthy relationships.

As he did so, his mother and father exchanged looks themselves; looks of pleasant surprise at Emily's thoughts on the matter. Maybe they should've seen it coming (though they hadn't known the young woman long, it was very clear to them early on what kind of person she was), but still, it nonetheless surprised them to hear this perspective. Too often had they been scorned by churchgoing peers for their lack of funds, a struggle with addiction, a mother working outside the home...it was hard not to let those harsh looks and even harsher words get to them, to tell the truth.

But it was clear to them that their boy's new sweetheart was not like those neighbors, who thought themselves so much better than them when on their way to the chapel in their Sunday best. No, she was a sweet girl, with a good nature and an open heart-and they hoped to have more quiet nights at their home with her like this in the near future.

Absolutely not! He would never accept cheating, and he would never forgive it. It's hard for him to trust people in the first place, so if he's in a relationship with someone, it means that he trusts that person. Cheating would break every sense of trust he has in his partner, and they would very swiftly become an ex.

Maybe they'd even be unsubscribed from life. Who can tell?

Cheating is unforgiveable. And if anyone cheated on him, they better pray to whatever deity they worship that he remains civil.
