Every day, my heart aches for all the Stefan/Bonnie scenes we missed out on. They abandoned their developing friendship so fast for no reason.

Did Stefan kill Enzo? Yes, but he wanted to comfort her. He didn't want her to grieve alone. He was supposed to spend the rest of his life making it up to Bonnie and then he died.

They spend 8 seasons being parallels to each other. They might as well do something with that Paul/Kat chemistry.

Lol! It's one of my favorite Paulerina moments because that whole interview they were like the epitome of goofy, unprofessional, clownery, and just oddly flirty. Also, that moment in particular just feeds my theory that Paul is a bratty sub. But to be fair I just get that energy from him when he's around Kat in general because there's is something that's snarky, weirdly submissive, and also very attention seeking about how he responds to her that is very hard to read if its not through that lens. Like I can't not think that. And he stays flustered and ridiculous around Kat to the point where I always question like what are ya'll even doing? What is going on here? They're honestly just extremely random and messy together and I love it! It very much gives sexual tension being played for laughs. Like, ha just kidding, unless you gone do it!

What are your favourite bonnie ships and why?

Sorry I didn't see this earlier! This is the hardest question. I ship almost all of them because Kat has a lot of chemistry with a lot of people. Many of my favorite Bonnie ships don't even have fics and if they do, then the fics are short or rare.

Let's start with the obvious favorite: Klonnie. I am literally writing a fic for them. Why? They are just the hottest cast members and I'm very interested in the power dynamics between the characters. Also, I'm just really interested in how these two could influence each other. Whether that means tapping into Bonnie's dark side or Klaus becoming a better man, there's potential for growth as individuals.

I'd also like to acknowledge Stefonnie as a ship I hold dear to my heart. I live for Paulerina's chemistry plus Stefan and Bonnie are almost mirrors of each other in a way I find intriguing. Remember when I mentioned rare pairs? I also ship Bonnie with both of Stefan's doppelgangers. Silas and Bonnie have an obvious history, but Tom and Bonnie never met. BonTom is my crack ship for Bonnie just getting the fuck out of MF.

Bonkai and Bamon are almost interchangeable to me. I like both. The potential was there from day one with Bamon. I don't buy them as platonic soulmates. They were meant to be lovers. Bonkai with witch!Kai is superior. Heretic!Kai was stupid and he died immediately which does sorta make sense in canon but is still annoying. There's a lot of unresolved sexual tension here with both ships and they deserve a chance to explore their feelings.

i don’t know if it was you or someone else on here but I remember someone posted a pic of paul and kat at some after party a few years ago and that man’s ring hand was hidden behind his back, the body language spoke volumes and i’m pretty sure his wife was there as well. But yes it will be so hilarious if post split he’s back to interacting with her because i swear he stayed liking her shit and then completely stopped

There’s a gif somewhere of paul tugging on Kat’s hair during a con, I think you posted it one here, but iirc Paul says something about not seeing bamon being romantic and she responded that ‘he gets jealous’ and his hand is already on her chair and he just reaches and tugs slightly on her hair and she kinda moans/whines😟 a lil about her hair and then ian rubs her shoulder too and wheeew when i say i felt something…but it’s that kinda messiness that was like damn wtf is going on offset bc y’all is at WORK rn

Lol yeah, I posted it earlier and that was a moment, yes. One of many that we side eye. Also proof that this triangle would've been more interesting on and offscreen than any one that we actually got. LOL

I know we all love somegraham, but looking back I definitely think there were some sparks between paulerina. Its was very low key but Paul was definitely feeling her. I saw an old interview the other day that was just like 2mins of Paul saying how much he wanted to get with Kat asksjsjd. I don't think they dated or anything but 👀😂😂

Yesssssss. Look, I know real life ships are weird and shouldn’t be taken seriously so please don’t put too much weight on anything in my answer here... but at the same time, most everybody has their fave messy conspiracy theories on what went down behind the scenes while the show was filming! I’ve seen people’s ideas floating around about Kat and Ian, or Jomo, or Chris, or Nate.

And I do love Kat/Ian (who clearly are up to their ears in chemistry) but I’m with you... my money is on Paulerina, especially in the earlier seasons. Something about the way they even just stand together now seems so familiar, so intimate and relaxed. Maybe it’s plain old chemistry, maybe it’s history, idk?

But also the total lack of Stefan/Bonnie scenes after s1-2 (with Torrey joining the show in s3), supposedly because they end up too busy laughing together to act when they have scenes together??? Seems fishy, lol.
