i made full "canon" allegiances for the start of fire and ice: google doc link
this is a part of a series im doing where i've made the full allegiances for the first book of every arc in order. now i'm making allegiances for other main series books
here is the masterpost for all the allegiances
"canon" is in quotations because a lot of this is guesswork about who logically would be around at that point in time, but aren't listed in the allegiances or mentioned in the book
this is mainly meant to be a resource for fanworks
general stuff that's still the same as last time:
wiki pages are linked to character's names
med cat = cleric
characters are listed by age. where there are no concrete ages, i make my best guess
tc is the only clan without a "kit" rank as all kits born into or taken into the clan have known parents
this is where things start to get pretty messy due to the sheer number of prequel cats i need to make decisions about, pretty much entirely in rc and sc. i'll provide insight into why the ones i have listed are still around as these prequel cats do just tend to randomly fall off the timeline with no explanation or canonical deaths
thunderclan:
cinderkit and brackenkit are listed as kits instead of apprentices bc they are not apprenticed until like 100 pages in
swiftpaw is still listed as an apprentice bc he is apprenticed in like the first chapter
ashkit, fernkit, and tulipkit are listed. elderkit is already dead and tulipkit dies this book
shadowclan:
they lose a LOT of cats from the previous allegiances due to their last mentioned appearances being at the end of yellowfang's secret and not a lot of them reappearing in exile from shadowclan or tigerclaw's fury
whitepaw/whitethroat - not mentioned until rising storm, but needs to be a warrior by then. i made him a kit in the itw allegiances and thus now he's an apprentice
applepaw/applefur and ratpaw/ratscar - not mentioned until tigerclaw's fury but need to be warriors by then. i made them kits in the itw allegiances and thus they are now apprentices
brightflower, crowtail, archeye, featherstorm, hollyflower - alive and rejoined shadowclan's camps at the end of exile from shadowclan
volewhisper - alive and rejoined shadowclan's camp at the end of exile from shadowclan, but specifically needs to die before blackfoot returns due to continuity issues with blackfoot's reckoning
ashheart - not mentioned or listed in tpb, but alive bc she needs to make semi-canon kits with cinderfur in rising storm
scorchwind - not mentioned or listed in tpb, but alive bc he needs to make rowanstar and cedarheart with darkflower
rowanberry, deerfoot, flintfang, and fernshade - are in tigerclaw's fury
wolfstep - is mentioned to still be alive when tigerclaw first comes to shadowclan in blackfoot's reckoning
riverclan:
mistyfoot - reedwhisker is not listed because i've gone with the timeline given in tnp for him. mistyfoot's other kits are listed
mosspelt - listed as a warrior instead of an expecting queen as her and silverstream's kits need to be close enough in age for her to feed/foster them, and graystripe and silverstream haven't even met yet
mallowtail and birdsong - they are still around after shadepelt and heavystep receive their full names
frogleap - he dies later
grasswhisker, shimmerpelt, lakeshine, cedarpelt, piketooth, and timberfur - mentioned to be alive after the flood that kills frogleap
beetlenose, ottersplash, sedgecreek, voleclaw, and vixenleap - mentioned to join tigerclan and/or lionclan, so they are safe for the entirely of tpb
rippleclaw and emberdawn - are at nightpelt's first gathering as a leader
skyheart and reedtail - need to make kits together in mothwing's secret, so they are safe for the entirety of tpb
windclan:
thrushwing - again, the canonnity of her character is questionable, but windclan needs more she-cats. there's also an unnamed non-morningflower tortoiseshell mentioned a couple times and i think she works fine to fill in that vague role
morningflower - the way that she and gorsekit are described make it sound like she gave birth like the day before fireheart and graystripe showed up, so she is tagged with (expecting kits)
tawnykit/tawnyfur - an apprentice in rising storm and a warrior in a dangerous path, so she is likely a kit around this time
eaglekit (ashfoot's kit) - not listed bc i think they have died
elders - there are about 5 unnamed elders described while windclan is crossing the road. the only specific elders that have strong cases to be around are crowfur (he is in a forest of secrets) and cloudrunner (he is gorsepaw's father)
i have them listed under rogues and loners, but sometime during this book it's likely that stagleap and sorrelshine rejoin windclan after the clan returns to their territory
cats outside clans:
shadowclan exiles get their own group
stagleap (wc) and sorrelshine are listed here
princess is listed as (expecting kits) as cloudtail has not been born yet

This feels like such a petty complaint, but I am so tired of seeing people ignore the differences between the original four Clans in WCRP that features them. In the forest territories WindClan sleeps in the open, there is no warriors' or apprentices' den. RiverClan switched to using smaller dens after the flood in the prequels, so in a lot of cases they don't have consolidated warrior or apprentice dens either. ShadowClan relies on Carrionplace when prey is scarce. Half the time people don't even get ThunderClan's traditions right.
It's just so aggravating to see people talk so much about the lack of diversity in the books (which there absolutely is, there should be more variety than this) and then ignore what little we actually got.
I don't get what's so hard about, like, checking the wiki for lore details when you're setting these things up. Don't say your rp is faithful to the books if you're not going to bother fact-checking stuff that's easily found without even opening one.

Ratscar! He is Snowbird's brother, but due to the timing of their life events, Snow having kits through the Vision of Shadows Arc while Ratscar was in the elders den, he seems quite a bit older, which is supported by his inclusion of the narrative of the prequel novella Tigerstar's Fury, despite Snowbird saying they were littermates. This makes him older than Oakfur, who was an apprentice during the novella, while Snowbird seems like she's just coming into her Senior warrior age with the Starless Clan arc. Sometimes the writers use littermates interchangeably with siblings, but it's hard to know what exactly they meant, if snowbird is supposed to be an older queen or if they in fact are from different litters.
He is kind of contradictory, He is an allegiances only cat through the later half of Power of Three, and then he gains characterization through Omen of the Stars. Through Flametail's eyes in Fading Echoes he's a genuine senior warrior who offers to lead the medicine cat back to some borage, and who plays on the Ice with Redwillow and Crowfrost. The next we see of him Ivypool watches as he 'greets' Blossomfall into the dark forest with a fight of teeth and claws. He always appears loyal and protective of boarders, several times identifying thunderclan scent where Dovewing crosses to meet Tigerheart, and even fights Lionblaze drawing blood when the thunderclan cat tries to cover her tracks. In the final battle it's clear by his conversation with Shredtail, a dark forest warrior, that he had always been loyal to Shadowclan, and spends the battle fighting against the dark forest. The thing about retroactively including him into Tigerclaw's Fury as a cat on the patrol that kills Runningwind, he would know then, how disloyal Tigerclaw can be, and I would imagine not be one to be so naive about the dark forest, but I guess the writers weren't thinking that hard when they pulled him back in the narrative that far two years later.
Anyway currently he is an elder, who was part of the Kin in the Vision of shadows arc, as he felt that Rowanstar's leadership lacked the power of 'old Shadowclan' days. He becomes a refugee to Thunderclan after being forced on the front line in the battle for Riverclan, and realizes that he had been wrong about his leader. He remains in the allegiances through the end of that arc, but hasn't been listed in the Broken Code or Starless Clan arcs with the exception of Spotfur's Rebellion, so, it's possible he hasn't died yet.

Sorry it took forever to upload new art, I've been distracted, mostly by ClanGen to be honest. ^^ But at last, here's some new uploads. We'll start with some prequel SE leaders! :D Up first is an updated design for Pine/Pinestar of ThunderClan!
You can find the reverse side of his design here.
For his physical description, Pinestar is described as a thick-furred, massive tom with a muzzle criss-crossed with scars and a torn ear. I lost the Tigerclone lineart when my phone drowned last summer, so I had to trace over it from one of Tigerclone ref sheets. At least I was able to make a few small tweaks to make it look better and now it fits the larger canvas size I've been working with. I gave him similar scars to his last ref sheet, and this time I added his kittypet collar. ^^
For his pattern, Pinestar is described as a reddish-brown tom with green eyes. I used a lot of the same colors as his last ref sheet, but lightened his belly colors a lot, and added more lighter markings to his legs.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with how he turned out. ^^

Changes in cannon for my Rewrite/Au for ThunderClan/Forest Camp
*NOTE:* The prequel books (super editions, novellas, field guides, etc are completely discarded in this AU, ages, relations, and names will most likely be changed for most cats
Name Changes:
Bluestar -> Sleetfall
Spottedleaf -> Leafshade
One-Eye -> Fawntrail
Lionheart -> Liondapple
Leopardfoot -> Martenleap
Tigerclaw -> Tigerstrike
Darkstripe -> Starlingswoop
Whitestorm -> Mallowstorm
Mosskit -> Chervilblossom
Longtail -> Rushtail
Mousefur -> Laurelswipe
Willowpelt -> Willowtuft
Dustpaw -> Basilpaw
Graypaw -> Kitepaw
Speckletail -> Cloudcatcher
Goldenflower -> Aspenleaf
Frostfur -> Asterdawn
Brindleface -> Iriscloud
Dappletail -> Turtleshell
Smallear -> Beechmask
Halftail -> Sedgetail
Moonflower -> Duskflower
Stormtail -> Stagcharge
Snowfur -> Snowfeather
Mistlekit -> Chervilkit
Swiftbreeze -> Swiftgaze
Adderfang -> Adderstrike
Mistkit -> Mirekit
Nightkit -> Petuniakit
Family Tree Changes:
Sleetstar is still the daughter of Duskflower and Stagcharge as well as the sister to Snowfeather, all of whom are deceased at the start of the AU. However, she is mates with Stormstone (Crookedstar) and has two separate litters with him, both of which get transferred to River's Camp, the kits being Mistypounce and Stonedive (1st litter) and Silverstream, Shellkit, and Ploverkit (Shell and Plover passed as kits).
Redtail is still mates with Iriscloud in this AU, and father's Ashkit, Tulipkit, and Fernkit (Elderkit doesn't exist lol). His parentage has changed however, his mother is Rosetail and his father is Tawnyspots. He has two deceased siblings, Olivekit and Sloekit.
Leafshade's family is completely different from cannon. She is the daughter of Fawntrail and Beechmask, as well as the sister to Laurelswipe.
Liondapple's family remains decently similar to his cannon family tree. He is still mates with Asterdawn, but he only fathers Brightkit, Thornkit, and Brackenkit. His parentage has also changed, he is now the child of Turtleshell and a deceased tom named Sycamoretooth. He also remains the brother to Aspenleaf.
Martenleap remains as a child of Swiftgaze and Adderstrike, however she is mates with Thrushpelt and is the mother to Starlingswoop and Magpiewing (an OC). She does have two deceased siblings Chipmunkpaw and Mousecatcher.
Tigerstrike is still the son of Pinestar, however his mother is an OC named Frondpelt with his dead siblings Mirekit and Petuniakit.
Starlingswoop is the son of Martenleap and Thrushpelt as well as the brother to Magpiewing. He does end up fathering Ravenpaw with his mate Nettleglare.
Mallowstorm is the son of Snowfeather and Thistlepounce, just like in cannon, however he has a sister based on Mosskit named Chervilblossom.
Chervilblossom mothered Kitepaw with her mate whom passed, Elkleg.
Basilpaw is the son of two of my OCs Firrush and Driftsnap. Notably he is the grandson of Sunstar on Firrush's side.
Rushtail is the son of Sedgetail and a deceased OC named Cherrytail.
Willowtuft is the child of Cloudcatcher and a loner at the barn named Thatcher, she has a few deceased siblings named Bloomkit, Flaxkit, and Podpaw.
Runningwind has two named parents, Elmleg and Wrengaze both of whom are dead. He is also the father to Sandpaw, Cinderkit, Swiftkit, and Lynxkit as well as being mates with Aspenleaf.
Asterdawn is the child of Featherwhisker and Stemfall (OC)
Iriscloud is the kit of two loners named Leonora and Ragweed, she also has a sister who remains a loner named Burnet.
If you have any questions relating to the family trees please do submit a question in my ask box. I love and welcome questions. :)

I'm never really satisfied with the discussions of ableism in this fandom, and I think its because not enough people akcnowledge the very foundation of the series, "a cult developed around choosing to live a harsher life they find more satisfying to live to the point of arrogance", is inherently ableist. The clans don't live in a vaccuum, they live in a world where they could go off and find a twoleg within a few weeks who would take care of them entirely, and the series, especially the first arc, entirely opperates under the premise that if a cat can't cut it as a warrior then they should go live a oft kittypet life.
At its core its a neutral fact, their lifestyle is harsh and not suitable for every cat, and more levelheaded cats in the series treat it as such, but their society as a whole puts itself on a pedestal and looks down upon amyone who isn't up to snuff. I think too many people act liek this is an unintentional problematic aspect when it is portrayed as being part of their flawed and problematic society. Especially firestar's story was about admiring the positives of this society and yet willign to step back and view it form an outside perspective to see where things could do better and this society could evolve instead of remaining in its current stagnant and insular state. That's why clan cats look at Cinderpelt and Snowkit and Brightheart and completely accept the terrible fates they were going to be given for being "weak" and why firestar stepped to at least try to change that. He creates a society thats better about it but still has many a flaw, in which sometimes they fumble backwards and sometimes they take steps forwards, and they learn to be a more complex and compassionate society. Its not so black and white or linear either, as before the prequels scrambled to justify them there was the implication that because of how they glorify warriors and defending their clan they also wear scars and wound slike badges of honour, being renamed in honour of them, and it was only through brighthearts case and firestars alternative perspective that they began to see how it wasnt so great.
This is a weird ramble and probably incoherent, sorry. Warriors has a lot of ableism problems, and I just would like to see it discussed more not in just the meta context, but in story as well. Its a very interesting thing to view the warriors society as the dynamic every changing society it is in the same way we examine character slike hollyleaf who change- maybe not always as the authors intended, but still making something worth examining and expanding on. I think if we think about it that way it is very interesting to see the push and pull of their society, and how it affects the characters that are most inherent marginalized and also glorified. I think looking at it in story more could add more to the meta discussion.
Yeah I think I get where you’re coming from
One detail I find a lot of people forget is that ThunderClan never pressured Jayfeather into the medicine den, StarClan did. Firestar was very open to the idea of Jaypaw training as a warrior and never tried to put a barrier in place for him. And Briarlight was going to move back into the warriors den and presumably try and take on more responsibilities as she felt more ready to but that was just something that got completely forgotten once Vicky left, who knows what Briarlight’s fate could have been if that plot thread wasn’t literally just forgotten.
I think the main issue people have is that we yet haven’t many prominent characters who have managed to escape from the box that the clans’ integrated ableism wants to keep them in. Particularly cats who have disabilities related to loss of limb function, hearing impairment, and sight impairment in both eyes. Sure we have Deadfoot and Volewhisper but this was almost all done offscreen. And while we do have characters with missing tails, apart from Halftail, these characters just aren’t treated as disabled by the narrative, half the time the books forget they’re not supposed to have tails!
I feel at this point like you say if we were to have a significantly disabled main character warrior, they probably would have to face in-universe ableism to some degree (as horrible as it is) because it just would be odd not to considering the ableism that has just continuously existed within the clans. If a deaf cat decided to become a warrior, there would definitely be those in-universe who wouldn’t approve because there hasn’t been a deaf cat born in the clans (that we know of) since Snowkit. Several characters probably just wouldn’t be able to comprehend the idea of someone functioning perfectly fine without hearing because it’s a concept almost completely new to them. It would be a very satisfying story I think to see this deaf character just ultimately prove them wrong, obviously they would face challenges and need to adapt differently to their clanmates, but in the end once they get the hang of things their own way, it could be a very satisfying conclusion. I think this or a similar concept would be something interesting to see tackled and challenged in-universe. But given the track record for author ableism with these books, I wouldn’t hold my breath about it being non-offensive and actually good representation.

Anyway, so after that happens, Grey Wing becomes a single father and raises the kits on his own. Which, like, go boy go! He is one of the only good ones.
But then Thunder leaves that group to make his own, and Lightning follows him. But then, Clear Sky starts some shit. Some absolute shit. Because he decides that he needs more territory. Kills a cat, turns out she was a mom. It's fine, because one of his cats takes in the kittens. Yeah uh... Yeah. A lot of murder happens
And this is just in the prequel series! Anyway, at some point a MASSIVE battle happens. These two siblings kill each other, so many cats die. It was pretty much Clear Sky's side vs everyone else. And no one really won? They were just stopped by the ghosts of their family going "hey, uh... Stop that lol. Unite or Die, y'know. So uh... Stop that" and then they did. For a bit.
But you know your boy Clear Sky has some shit to start. And he does start shit. But by then, it's just normal and they all just kinda agree to protect their borders with patrols.
Grey Wing meets Slate, has children of his own finally. But this is like in the last two books of that arc... And uh. Basically? The kits ask what they are, and Grey Wing says they're clans. And so they name the clans. The clan he lives in is Windclan, run by Wind Runner which I jsut realized I forgot to mention her at all, I was so focused on the damn family drama- Wind Runner has a mate, his name is Gorse Fur, and they had 4 kits but only 2 survived the illnesses. One of them is Moth Flight. She is important... *Stretches*
So anyway, after describing what the clans are and their names, which is Shadowclan for Tall Shadow's group, Windclan for Wind Runner's group, Skyclan for Clear Sky's group, Thunderclan for Thunder's group, and finally Riverclan for River Ripple's group, uh... Grey Wing dies surrounded by his family. And this is the last moment of the prequel arc.
Then there is a super edition, Moth Flight's Vision. She sees a green moth and decides to follow it, because she sucks at the hunting and fighting stuff. She follows it onto a road and nearly gets hit by a car, but her dad saves her. And Wind Runner is pissed because well, she nearly lost her daughter and husband in the same go. Moth Flight runs away to follow the moth because it was just calling to her. So she follows it, runs into farm cats. One of these is named Micah, and he goes with her to follow the moth. They stumble upon a cave, and Moth Flight is the only one that goes in. She gets to a massive crystal, the Moon Stone, and then sees the ghosts of her loved ones and ancestors and becomes the very first medicine cat. She is shown all the other medicine cats, and Micah is one of them. But he is Skyclan's medicine cat. And the ghosts tell Moth Flight that they will split the sky when she tells the clans. She is confused. But leaves and takes Micah with her back to the clans.
She gets back the moment there is a gathering, and she gets to the gathering place which is actually where that big battle was. And uh... Tells the clans all about this massive change. And Clear Sky is like "mhm yeah sure sure, Wind Runner I don't believe your daughter" and Wind Runner is like "stfu" and then they all wait for Starclan's thing.
And Starclan chooses to FLASHBANG the cats with a lightning bolt to a tree and absolutely OBLITERATING it.

Can you tell us about your SpottedTiger au? :)
100%, absolutely. :D I'm glad you're interested in it! Prepare for a long ramble LMAO
It's called the False Prophecy AU, and the baseline story around it is that Spottedleaf and Tigerclaw fake a prophecy to the clan to be able to be mates without being seen as breaking the code. Straight up lying about a sign from the ancestors in order to get together.
There are actually some minor worldbuilding changes that come with the AU, like changing the names of some of the first arc elders, family tree adjustments, Medicine cats being essentially the only cats who can contact Starclan directly other than extremely rare exceptions, and clear, starry nights being seen as sacred due to it being seen as time that Starclan is able to see them clearly. Cloudy, starless nights tend to make clan cats uneasy due to the lack of direct view of their ancestors above, and is when a majority of crimes and code-breaks are committed, in the hopes they can still get into Starclan.
I haven't read a majority of the prequel novellas or anything, so this is purely AU brainrot. Bear with me LMAO
Spottedleaf and Tigerclaw grew up together as childhood friends, with Spotted being a medicine cat apprentice from the start due to her love of healing and natural connection to Starclan, and Tiger being a warrior apprentice, unfortunately stuck with Thistleclaw as a mentor. With having such a rough training situation, he'd often linger in the medicine cat den in his free time or when he was injured, helping Spottedpaw and Featherwhisker with small tasks and keeping them company while he was cooling off from patrols. He's always thought of the medicine den as a type of sanctuary where he could be safe and rest, so it has a lot of positive associations with him, and he has a lot more knowledge of herbs and how to use them than most warriors do. Which is extremely helpful on the battlefield when a medicine cat isn't nearby.
Spottedleaf had always been a bit playful and sassy, even if she was still compassionate and kind. Her and Tigerclaw often bantered, and though as he grew, Thistleclaw molded him into being more and more aggressive, there's always been a base foundation of respect and care between the two. Even with Tigerclaw eventually growing to tower over her (Maine coon mix Tigerclaw has my heart), Spottedleaf has essentially been the only person who's been able to rein him in and knock some sense into him.
They had been secretly romantically involved for a while, but Spottedleaf and Tigerclaw had been planning to fake the prophecy for moons in advance of them putting their plan into action, only discussing the idea of it during the day, or whenever there were no stars in the sky at night, these two were serious serious. They end up presenting the prophecy to Bluestar using a ladybug and a cat's claw that were apparently tucked into her nest, and while she believes them, they decide to keep things secret from the clan in order to ease them into it, since compared to Riverclan and Shadowclan, Thunderclan's fairly traditional and. Some cats wouldn't be too happy about that.
I won't go too far in, since I don't want to outright spoil my fic, but some other happenings are:
Redtail not dying.
Due to Spottedleaf not being killed, both Yellowfang and Spottedleaf are medicine cats of Thunderclan, which. Complicates things a lot with her and Tigerclaw's plans, to say the absolute least. Though we get the fun three medicine cat dynamic once an apprentice comes in. Two different flavors of sass in mentors, nice aunt and grouchy grandma LMAO (Spotted does discreetly use Yellowfang's arrival as evidence of her and Tiger's prophecy with later events)
Spotted, Red, and Willow all just being super close and a tight knit family with their mom Rosetail
I've still been debating if I want to keep Cinderpaw as a medicine cat, but I've considered having a different cat be her apprentice- It's still definitely in development, but it's coming along slowly but surely!

Bee-balm, chrysanthemum, iris for the flower asks
@stonefall-wc
Oh no I made a joke about trout signing his anon ask but now I'm clearly the weird one for finding it remarkable. Who could have foreseen a heel turn from a cat named Bramble...
Bee Balm: What is your favorite Super Edition or novella?
Crowfeather's Trial and Tallstar's Revenge take it easily. It's hard to say which one I like more because they're so different, but I think they're prime examples of the two kinds of standalone Warriors novel: middle-of-existing-action and prequel. They both add color and depth to known characters without introducing plot holes and problems.
Chrysanthemum: If you were a cat, what would your clan and rank be?
ThunderClan (senior) warrior! Nothing fancy. If my name was ever floated for deputy I'd go start shit at the border until that talk stopped.
Iris: Name your top three favorite ships and your top three least favorite ships.
It's so hard to pick a top 3 ships. BrambleFire, FireTiger, and LionBerry are the three I've spent the most time thinking/talking about actively. But there's also BrambleHawk, BaySun, LionAsh. Not to mention all the poly ships? So so many that I like...
As for least-favorite ships, I don't know. I love all ships. I tend to think of FireSand as being BFFs who have a little together (or do they, Mr. Sharpclaw? :3c) so I guess you could say I dislike that "ship." It's canon, though, so is that even a "ship"?

Welcome to my warriors art blog!
About me:
🩵 Sweet or Flameheart
🩵 my pronouns are she/they
🩵 adult
🩵 my main is @sweetcreatortimetravel
🩵 I have currently read all the books up until Thunder so no worries about spoilers.
🩵 my favourite character is Riverstar.
About this blog:
🩵 My goal is to draw all of the cats of the warriors books at least once.
🩵 I'll do them in a random order
🩵 There's probably untagged spoilers here
🩵 I usually use my own interpretation of the canon descriptions or how I picture the characters in my head.
🩵 Sometimes other people's designs influence it or I like their design and draw it. If that's the case I'll tag them.
🩵 Some designs are older. I've started this project (traditionally) a few years ago and am now posting those and improving some of them (digitally) and posting them. Some are new though. Also I might upload the traditional version first and then the redo later.
🩵I tend to be a perfectionist so with these I'll try to just draw them and upload them even if they're not the best I could do.
🩵 I love learning about cat coat genetics so I'll include the characters' fur color in the posts.
🩵 Let me know if I can somehow improve my IDs.
