This feeling of being left-behind

The firm’s anniversary happened yesterday. I wore an ocean-colored long gown; Semi-daring (considering the annoying super-v-neckline); I can say the gown is really pretty and fitted. In short, it’s a head-turner.

I got the opportunity to share a photo with ALMOST everyone. But I admit, my main goal that night is to have a picture with my all-time senior. I can bear to miss a shared photo with everyone except with my senior. 

YAS. That’s HOW important HE is to me. AGH. He’s my supper crush as of now. And take note: My feelings for him subsided lately because I’m forcing my self a  “self-restraining policy”.

After dinner we joined the cluster outside the dining hall. We had a lot of GROUP picture taking. And during that time, I’m just thinking the timing to finally ASK him to take a picture with me. 

After the group photo, Maggie and I went to the restroom-- knowing that the cluster left us and headed to the 1st floor, we decided also to go to the main hall for the continuation of the program BUT, THANKFULLY, we went back to where the cluster gathered.

I saw my co-staff having a photo sharing with my manager, then I insisted “Ako rin!!”. After that photo, I don’t know why did I have the courage to ask another senior to take a photo with me. AND AFTER THAT I HAD THE COURAGE, BOLDNESS, AND THE BRAVENESS TO ASK HIM (MY SENIOR) TO HAVE A PHOTO WITH ME.

“Kuya, picture tayo.” I said while tapping his back. “Sure sure!” He said while turning his direction to me. 

We had I think, 9 pictures? and 3 poses HAHAHA. It’s funny because after I took a photo with my crushie-senior, my other senior (now manager who obviously like me), said with excitement, “AKO RIN AKO RIN!”. They’re like children goofing around. Messing the poses. HAHA

After that, I went home early, aroung 11:30pm. I decided not to go to the after after party anymore. Well first, I don’t drink. Second, it’s far. And last, it’ll bore me and exhaust me. I better just go home.

Around 1 to 2 am, I posted pictures of me with other people. And of course, I posted OUR picture. TAKE NOTE: Our picture is the only picture I edited before posting. I tagged everyone. 

See, my senior is not that social-media fanatic. He doesn’t always browse to social media. BUT THIS TIME, HE MENTIONED ME IN HIS IG STORY FOR THE SAME PICTURE I POSTED. AND MIND YOU BESFREN, IT’S THE VERY FIRST STORY HE SHARED. CONSIDERING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO ALSO MENTIONED HIM IN THEIR STORIES HEHHEHE

The twist is, later on that day, he posted a picture of his girl in a restau. :)

Life is......... pain :D

Nevertheless, I had fun. But whenever I feel this feeling of being left-behind, I feel lonely. 

Solitude, be my friend again.
