Might I suggest: Layton and Flora taking a vacation to Monte D'or after Unwound Future.

They need a break from London after... everything, and Layton has been meaning to visit his old friends again for 2 years (I imagine he called a couple of times because he totally told Randall about accepting an invitation from Desmond Sycamore, but then never followed up on that!)

Flora would be excited about her and Layton having one on one time, and being referred to as his daughter

Randall would absolutely tell embarrassing stories about Layton

Any conversation is 1 question away from Layton potentially having to talk about stuff he has been trying to not think about because you can only avoid a subject so much before it's blatantly suspicious

Flora offering to help make dinner and Layton doesn't say anything, and his friends get to experience the awe and terror that is her cooking

Flora being referred to as Layton's daughter

The two of them finally having a much needed conversation about their relationship and various things that happened in the main trilogy
