I love Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Midford and I get sad thinking about her trauma and how it’s cast aside. How she’s expected to not only continue being strong despite losing so much, but also to hide her true self and conform to gender roles so strongly for fear of losing the affection of her fiancé. I want her to be able to fight and play outside and study a bunch of subjects and laugh loudly and stand tall without worry.

I also hate how the anime turned her into a one-dimensional cutesy annoying girl who practically invited hate because “she bothered Ciel.” Ciel cares about her!!! She’s kind and caring and has selfish moments just like every other person to ever exist! She just got stuck in a show that prioritized yaoi bait over everything else and attracted fans who are already misogynistic to hate on her.

Anyways stan Lizzie, we love Lizzie here. Femininity doesn’t take away from someone’s power and strength.

I keep thinking about Luka somehow getting resurrected and Alois just spoiling him with everything. Fancy clothes, good food, any toy he wants. Luka proceeds to practically buy out Funtom’s flagship store with the shopping spree money. The brothers share a room (not out of necessity, but because Alois will lose his mind if Luka escapes his sight for a single moment) and half of it is occupied by plushies.
