Talonflame Facts

-The scientific name for Talonflame is "Falco cinialus" which translates to "Ash falcon"

-Talonflame are birds of prey and are close relatives of Pidgeot and Fearow

-Talonflame'a habitat includes woodlands, deserts, and cities. The ones that live in woodlands and cities make their nests on high trees or tall buildings, while the ones in deserts will often make their nests on top of large bolders

-Talonflame are one of the fastest flying types that aren't legendaries or mythicals, being able to fly at 310 mph

-Talonflame hunt many small bird pokemon like Pikipek and Wingull

-While fletchling crossbreeds or pokemon crossed with fletchling aren't rare, the Talonflame rarely mate pokemon that aren't Talonflame due to them being very prideful

-Unlike Fletchling and Fletchinder, who need to heat up their flames, Talonflame's flame sac is always burning hot. To prevent overheating, Talonflame will fly at top speeds to let their flames loose

-To protect their eyes when flying, Talonflame have developed third eyelids

-Along with that, Talonflame have indented eyes and black markings around their eyes to protect them from the glare of the sun and the wind

-While fletchling migrate to warmer climates during the winter, Fletchinder and Talonflame stay since they can create enough heat to keep them warm. During the winter, parents of young fletchling will guard stay in their nests to keep their young warm, while their partner goes and brings them food. They switch rolls every couple of hours(they get really fat in the winter as well and it's adorable)

I'm so used to the Lucario and Gallade in Galar trying to kill you, but apparently, the ones in Paldea are a lot less aggressive. Pretty neat. My theory is that it's because the wild area and towns are a lot more connected than they are in Galar, so they're just used to seeing humans.

Fidough Facts

-The scientific name for Fidough is "Pajoes canis" which roughly translates to "Batter dog

-Fidough and Dachsbun have been with humans for thousands of years

-When first hatched, Fidough bodies are very soft and squishy to the point where it can be a danger to them. To harden them out, their Daschbun mothers will warm them up by licking them or cuddling them with her well-baked body

-Fidough will sometimes sleep in furnaces or ovens to keep their bodies warm

-Fidough and Daschbun used to be common all throughout Kalos until a Civil War, where they were accused of eating all the bread and leaving everyone hungry. All the Fidough and Daschbun were then killed out of anger

-Fidough feel little pain on their neck fat, making it a great spot for their mothers to pick them up

-When Fidough are scared, they will puff up their neck fat to appear larger and more intimidating

-Fidough's diet consists mostly of sugar and bread. Unlike most Canine pokemon, Fidough can eat things like Chocolate and grapes

-Fidough don't have great hearing, so they have a great sense of smell to make up for it

-Wild Fidough are commonly found living in groups throughout cities. In Paldea, Fidough are very loved to the point where it's not uncommon to see wild Fidough on trains or in stores

-Fidough breeding is very common throughout Paldea, where they're bred to resemble different breads and pastries (remeber; not all of these variants are crossbreeds. Just felt the need to clear that out)

-Fidough urine smells like freshly baked cake

-The Fidough line is known to be incredibly stubborn, so it's best to start training them at a young age

-A group of Fidouguh is called a loaf

-While they are very docile now, they were originally bred for hunting small pokemon before people realized how useful their yeast could be. They kept their trait of being good diggers though

-The scientific name for Delibird is "Avis Holius" which roughly translates to "Holiday bird"

-Delibird are in the Spheniscidae family, making them related to pokemon like Empoleon and Eiscue

-Delibird carry food and other materials in their tail sacs. While they often give this food to other people or pokemon, they will politely refuse if they have young they're caring for

-Delibird are biologically designed to overcollect more food since they end up giving so much away

-While their food has helped many people in desperate times, don't expect to always

-Delibird mate for life

-Yes, Delibird can fly. They just don't do it often. It's actually surprising they can fly, since their wings are very weak and their bodies are very fat

-Their blubber helps keep them warm in cold climates. The Delibird in alola usually have less blubber

-You'd think that with their webbed feet and blubbery bodies, the Delibird would live near water, but there is almost no water on the icy mountain peaks where they make their homes. Their bodies are the biggest hint thst they're recently diverged from Empoleon

-While they can swim well, they're very buoyant and can have trouble swimming in deep waters

-While Delibird were common depictions of Santa, many Unovan movies had instead made Beartic Santa which has spread, so now Delibird are seen as Santa's helpers during the holidays

Audino Facts

-The scientific name for Audino is "Rosala stetha" which translates to "Rosy chest"

-While they might not look it, Audino are highly diverged Lagamorphs, making them related to pokemon like Lopunny, Cinderace, and even Wigglytuft. Despite their similar appearance to Indeedee, they're not related to Indeedee at all, with Indeedee being equines

-Despite not being related to Indeedee, Audino pair very well with female Indeedee since they both have very caring natures

-Audino are very domesticated pokenon, with wild Audino being found in many cities still receiving food from humans. Away from urban areas, they can also be found in meadows, fields, and forests

-Audino have incredibly good hearing (some of it coming from years of human breeding), being able to hear s heartbeat and the sounds of someone's veins. This makes them very popular for hospitals as they can help doctors assess someone's health. However, their great hearing can also be a hindrance to them as their ears are very sensitive, and they can become overwhelmed. Mufflers for Audino are very popular

-In the wild, Audino will tap and listen to berries to see if the berries are ripe

-Audino are very good pokemon for conditions like Depression, Diabetes, and Autism as they're very understanding and can tell someone's health. There are Audino that have been trained to detect someone's blood pressure

-While Audino aren't known to live in groups, they are mostly friendly to the Pokemon they come across if they don't see them as a threat

Blaziken Facts

-The scientific name for Blaziken is "Gallus Cinus" which eoughly translates to "Ash Rooster"

-Wild Blaziken live in Savannas or deserts

-Blaziken are omnivores and, in the wild, eat any bug type, grass type, or small mammalian pokemon they can get ahold of

-Blaziken are actually great parents, and will take in abandoned eggs from other bird pokemon. There was an instance where a Blaziken mothered Quaxly who had lost their mother (she also freaked out bcuz they went to the water and torchic can't swim very well, but it was all fine in the end)

-While wild Blaziken aren't aggressive towards humans, they don't like them getting to close either, and will defend themselves with powerful kicks if they feel threatened. However, it's not uncommon for curious Wild Blaziken to come up to investigate you. If this happens, stay calm and make yourself poor weaker; they usually don't pick on anything that is weaker than them (unless it's prey but you're not prey)

-Blaziken live in groups, and are often the leaders and only fully evolved ones in their flocks. If another member of their flock evolves into a Blaziken, the two will either fight for the role of leadership or the first Blaziken will drive out the newly evolved one

-Male Blaziken are bigger and more protective than female Blaziken. They're also noisier, which alerts other members of their flock

-Male Blaziken are known to be more protective of their trainers as well

-While Combusken were bred for both fighting and farming, Blaziken was bred purely for fighting, which is why they're so aggressive compared to other starters

-The sterotype that Blaziken caw when the sun rises is actually partially true. They caw to warn other members of their flock or to get their attention, and the sun rising lets them know it's day and time to get up to avoid any potential predators

-The downside to this though is that you can train them to be quiet, but they'll come into your room and wake you up at dawn either way

-Blaziken have a status on the Hoenian Horoscope! They're the 10th Zodiac

-Combusken and Blaziken meat is commonly eaten around the world, but in Hoenn, killing and eating a Blaziken can get you fined and a potential 3 years in prison

-While Blaziken can swim and do fine in water, they don't like it and instead bathe themselves using mud, dirt, and dust

-Despite being birds, and most birds being in the flying egg group, Blaziken are NOT in the flying egg group. Researchers think that the ability to breed with other birds died out because they spent all of their time on the ground away from them (my opinion is that it's just egg groups are weird but I can't be biased when sharing facts...)

-Like most fire types, Blaziken will warm their eggs using their fire abilities

-Blaziken's closest relatives are Hawlucha, Dodrio, and Unfezant

-The scientific name for Dragonite is "Serpenta Dracomarita" which roughly translates to "Dragon-seafaring serpent"

-Despite having limbs, Deragonite is still classified as a serpent due to Dratini and Dragonair. Biologically speaking, they seem to be both Serpents and Wyverns

-Because of its many stories of Dragonite saving sailors from shipwrecks, Dragonite has been nicknamed "The sea Guardian" or "Guardian of the Sea" depending on where you're from

-Dragonite don't have many living relatives, but a their closest living relative would be Milotic (it's not even that close though)

-Dragonite are so rare in the wild because they make their homes on small islands in the middle of the oceans where storms are high and the tides are rampant. They live with other members of it's line

-Dragonite are omnivores and primarily eat fruits and fish

-Dragonite are very fond of shiny objects and are known to collect them. In places where Dragonite live, there's often hoards of treasures that they have found

-The scientific name for Delphox is "Vulpes Mystica" which translates to "Magic Fox"

-Delphox are vulpines, and their closest relatives are Ninetales and Thievul

-Delphox have the second longest lifespan of any foxmon, being able to live for hundreds of years. The first ones for that spot is Ninetales and Hisuian Zoroark, who are able to live for 1,000 years

-In the wild, Delphox can be found in Kalosian forests, deserts, and chapparals. They make their homes in large caves or dens

-Delphox have a large personality shift from Braixen, becoming more calm and collected instead of temperamental and moody

-While all vulpines are intelligent, Delphox's use of sticks for magic may show that they're the smartest amongst the vulpines

-Delphox can go up to a week without water (give them water regularly though, it's still not pleasant for them)

-Delphox's large ears help them regulate their body temperature and give off excess heat. It also makes them doubly perceptive, enhancing their psychic abilities

-While Delphox are solitary, they sometimes come in groups to practice their psychic abilities and meet with other Delphox and Braixen

Charjabug Facts

-The scientific name for Charjabug "Larva Voltus" which translates to "Volt larva"

-Charjabug are one of the few electric types that prefer to make their homes underground. Researchers say that it's because when they need to release excess electricity, the ground will absorb it

-Charjabug can be found living in woodlands and near power plants. In Woodlands, they eat tree bark and dried leaves and in power plants, they will eat the electricity

-Charjabug will often swarm around Vilavolt for the electricity they give off

-It's more seen with Vikavolt, but Charjubug are beetles in the Stag family

-Charjabug is biologically a pupa, but what makes them special is that they don't act much like pupas. They still eat lots of food and still move around a lot

-In Galar, Charjabug are scene as pests because they eat so much electricity

-The idea for batteries was inspires by Charjabug (and Joltik, but mostly Charjabug)

-Charjabug have compound eyes

-While Charjabug evolve with a thunderstone, they can also evolve by getting struck by lightning or eating enough electricity. -Researcher'a believe that primitive Charjabug could've been electric/poison types

Sprigatito Facts

-The scientific name for Sprigatito is "Catus Magus" which translates to "Kitten magician"

-Baby Sprigatito are called sprigs

-Weed made from Sprigatito is surprisingly common in Paldea (uhh, weed isn't as dangerous as people make it out but most people on Rotomblr are minors and it really isn't safe to smoke until 25, so be safe)

-Originally, Sprigatito was bred only for the royal family of Paldea (which is why their fur pattern has the fleur de lis on it). But the Sprigatio there had so many kittens that they decided to release them into the wild. The overabundance caused mass poaching to happen, making them very rare to find in the wild today

-Because of their over abundance, and them evolving to survive the harsher climates, members of the Sprigatito line were seen as bad luck during this time period

-In the wild, Sprigatito live in meadows, fields, forests, and plains

-Despite common stereotype, Sprigatito actually enjoy the rain

-Female Sprigatito are called Sprigatita

-Sprigatito fur becomes drier in autumn

-The scientific name for mimkyu is "Tractis desiatria" which translates to "Tangible desire"

-You should never try and remove Mimikyu's costume for the danger it poses to you, and it can permanently damage your Mimikyu's trust in you

-Mimkyu's line on the evolution tree is very difficult to discuss and classify. Researching them is also incredibly difficult from how dangerous just seeing them is. Since what has been observed, they seem to be a black gaseous form, so researchers theorize they're relayed to the Ghastly line

-Mimikyu have been known to make costumes for other popular pokemon, the most common variant being Eevee. Nothing changes with behavior, though

-Like most ghost types, they don't need to eat, instead just being able to feed on the life force and emotions of other living things. To prevent anyone from getting hurt, you can contact your local pokemon center or league to arrange an ethical feeding plan

-However, in the wild when being observed by people, they have been known to eat berries and foods that Pikachu will eat. This stops once they think they aren't being watched

Slaking Facts

-The scientific name for Slaking is "Megatherium Loafum" which roughly translates to "Loafing great beast"

-Slaking live in troops with other members of its line. Most of the time, they end up lying around all day with Slakoth while Vigoroth protect them and finds food

-While they can mate, they mostly choose not to. Vigoroth do all of the mating for their species (headcanon from @nerdpokemonheadcanons )

-Slaking eat both grass and leaves. They don't really care

-Unlike Slakoth and Vigoroth, Slaking don't live in trees. Instead, they'll lay on the forest floor eating grass all day

-Throughout history, Slaking have been used as a symbol of lazy kings and rulers

-Unlike Vigoroth, who have very fast digestive systems, Slaking's digestive system is very slow and it takes them about a month for food to fully digest

-Slaking aren't nocturnal or diurnal. They just sleep wherever and whenever they want

-Slaking don't often take care of themselves, leaving their fur to become dirty and matted. The Vigoroth in their troops are often the ones to groom them

-While most often times Slaking won't attacked when approached, it's still dangerous to approach them since they might release their stored energy or the Vigoroth in their troops will come and defend them

-When a Slaking is about to attack, they will show their teeth. When this happens, for the love of Arceus, turn the other way

-The average lifespan for a Slaking is 40 to 50 years

-Slaking are nearsighted

-Adult male Slaking are known as "Silver beards"

-Slaking's front fangs don't help with much since the flat teeth behind them were made to eat leaves and they don't eat meat. It's there to make them seem more intimidating

-The scientific name for Cutiefly is

"Bombylius cerinthus" which roughly translates to "bee-bread bumblebee"

-While they share a lot of similarities to the Combee line, Cutiefly aren't actually related and Cutiefly are actually in their own family called the Bombyliidae family

-Cutiefly are most commonly found in gardens and meadows, making their homes with other Cutiefly and Ribombee. They don't make hives and instead will form small groups together in logs or tree hollows

-Cutiefly in Galar often fly over to Gossifluer, trying to take some of their pollen. Gossifluer don't appreciate this much

-Sometimes, Cutiefly will eat so much pollen that they fall asleep in the flowers

-The Cutiefly in Alola are the biggest as they have the largest flowers to eat from

-Cutiefly and Ribombee have the same aura sensing abilities of Riolu and Lucario, but they're a lot weaker and only work on things like plants and some of their trainer's strong emotions. Apparently, when someone is excited, their aura resembles a flower in full bloom, which leads Cutiefly to gather around them. Researchers are still studying how aura can affect other things as well, and if there's a way for us to literally see it, like Lucario and Cutiefly can

-Cutiefly are hunted by pokemon like Lurantis, Spinarak, Pineco, and practically all bird-mon

-Like Yanma, Cutiefly can fly forward, backward, and sideways, all while facing the same direction

-While they enjoy Pollen and Nectar, Cutiefly also enjoy foods that are high in sugar, like Gatorade and fruit punch

-Cutiefly often swarm around Butterfree in fear that Butterfree will eat all of the pollen. But, this is only trained behavior, and it is safe to have both a Cutiefly and a Butterfree

-Cutiefly will often lay up to 15 small eggs at a time (gotta produce a lot when everything is hunting you)

-Cutiefly have an aversion to any kind of water since getting wet can make them have trouble flying, which is their only means of escaping predators. They get water from the nectar and fruit juice they drink from

Hi. So I had an egg, and it hatched, and it's a wimpod.

I have no idea how to take care of a wimpod.

Wimpod Care Tips

Okay, what you need to know about Wimpod is that they are VERY skittish and will run at the first sight of danger. If you want to battle with Wimpod, you need to make sure it trusts you completely to make sure nothing bad happens to it.

Other than that, Wimpod are opportunistic scavengers and can and will steal your food, even if you keep them well fed. But I like to call what they have "the snom treatment." It's when a small bug type needs to eat a lot of food than one would think of them. So, giving them large portions for the meals is basically a requirement.

Other than that, Wimpod need a place with water (no, bathtubs don't count). Depending on the variant, you will need either a freshwater or a saltwater tank. If possible, you could also make a small pond area for them in a yard.

While wimpod can usually keep themselves clean, you should still bathe them from time-time-. Make sure you get soap made specifically for them since their skin can be damaged by the soap that we use.

Wimpod live in groups in the wild because of the whole safety in numbers thing. Getting them a friend is a good idea as well.

-Lapras's ice pouch (like the fire pouch fire types have but with ice types) is stored in the back of their throat. The insides of their mouths are a lot thicker to keep warm when using their attacks

Okay, tbh, my friend @onyxgeoleader has been begging me to do it for a while, and I love Tinkaton, so I might as well!

Tinkaton Facts

-The scientific name for Tinkanton is "Fascinis malleus" which roughly translates to "Enchanting hammer"

-Wild Tinkaton have an affinity for man-made objects and buildings and have been known to try and replicate them

-Tinkaton are actually incredibly smart pokemon. Not only can they learn how to use tools to their advantage, but they'll also trade tools with other Tinkanton as well! In some instances, Tinkaton have even built homes out of discarded objects and made little Tinkaton villages

-Tinkaton pride themselves on how big and extravagant their hammers are, constantly adding new things to it. Sometimes, their hammers can get to big and heavy, even for them to carry around, so they end up having to rebuild it

-While Tinkatink and Tinkatuff find metal scraps to eat, Tinkaton actively hunt down other steel types to eat

-Tinkaton are close relatives of the Mawile line, with both of them being fairy/steel types, small, and are both humanoid

-While they're not actively hostile towards humans, wild Tinkaton have been known to attack humans of they have an item that interests them

-Tinkaton are definitely "attack first, ask questions later" type of pokemon. If a Tinkaton comes up to you, but isn't actively hostile or trying to attack you, it probably just means that they're curious about you

-Because Tinkaton dismantle buildings, they're often a symbol of anti-capitalists. Having a garden gnome resembling a Tinkaton is often used by anti-capitalists to show their support for the movement

-Paldea use to have a lot more steel types, but many of them were hunted to extinctions by Tinkaton

-Tinkaton are actually incredibly light, being only 20 lbs. It's the hammers that make them over 248 lbs

-When greeting friends, Tinkaton will rub their noses together

-Tinkaton have a long life-span, being known to live up to hundreds of years

-For some reason, Tinkaton are unable to have the shinism gene. "Shiny" tinkaton are actually just their hammers being made from Shiny corviknight

-Tinkaton greet each other by rubbing noses

-Their bite is very strong, and their jaws are made to crush metal. Despite how deadly their bite is, it's mostly just used to eat the metal they gather and they never use it for attacking

-Tinkaton will help other Tinkaton hammers get stronger by smashing them with their own hammer. This lets them know which areas they need to improve on

-This pokemon's natural enemy are Pawniard and Bisharp, and it's one of the few pokemon that will make Bisharp cower in fear
