Random Hcs of Mr dark of the stuff that happens in Rayman mini cause why not,im very bored alright-

I like the idea that Mr. Dark, in his retired life of being that "threatening villain who wanted to reign over the glade" now raises (in a not very legal way) eggs that hide creatures/pets for other evil people,either by creating them himself by putting them for breed to get creatures with desirable characteristics for his clients or raising clients pets to train them to be more threatening and ferocious (or simply taking care just like a regular daycare for villain's pets,thats very funny for me tbh)

And for explain with Rayman mini stuff I like to imagine that those eggs that Mr. Dark gives Ray are failed or first-time experiments when he was breeding em and that those animals are not going to represent something bad for good/regular people in the glade,being comparable to a small cat or dog and instead to get rid of them, what better way to give them to a hero who he knows would take good care of these poor creatures (And maybe Rayman will put these creatures to adoption for the Teenesies or other people?)

I imagine that those challenges that Mr. Dark offers Rayman as "contracts" are actually things that Mr. Dark would have to do on his own such as rescuing the Teenesies but he prefers to get somebody else to do all job,he taking all the actual reward while Rayman just getting eggs.

[If u ask why Teenesis would ask Mr dark to rescue them i imagine that Mr dark,since he shapesift,he could have been making a name of his own with another identity,some short of "hero",but hey,why now do all that tiring job when you had the hyperactive jolly boy to do ALL that job?]

And at least some of these challenges of course, in others I imagine that he puts them with full intention like those of running 500 meters just for the mere laugh of seeing Rayman running around like a idiot for mere eggs of failed monsters that Mr dark himself created/breed,while Rayman thinking he did something good for it.

This is pretty much my hc to kinda explain why he does the things now that he came back after YEARS being dissapeared and why giving eggs to Rayman of cutesy creatures,,jwjdh

goth teensy lore when

Garth the Teensy is meant to be one of the keepers of the gateway between the Land of the Livid Dead (as seen in Rayman 3) and the Livid Underworld (as seen in Rayman Origins). He's supposed to keep nightmares that'd passed on from the mortal realm from getting out, but it appears he doesn't do the greatest job at it. Some might chock this up to sheer laziness, but he at least attributes this to his fears of working with Mr. Death and his discomfort with being around zombies. He'd be cast out if anyone else was up for the task.
