Redacted Asmr Fashion Headcanons!

Both Ash and Gavin view developing a personal style as a matter of self-care (I'm totally not projecting right now) but in very different ways. Ash is a thrift store GOD. He knows where to find all the best-stocked stores and he knows all the methods for making sure you do not miss out on a single styling piece that has potential. While Ash stocks up on basics that mix and match fantastically, Gavin is more of a statement pieces kind of fellow. His wardrobe is full of glitter, sequins, thigh-high socks, platform boots, and bright colors. Don’t get me wrong, he DOES have his basics… in the very back of the closet. Only to be used when absolutely necessary. XD His go-to "casual" outfit is a pair of neon pink leggings and a MASSIVE oversized t-shirt that slips off both shoulders and goes down to his knees. Not exactly fashion related, but whatever it my post I can do what I want— Gavin is and absolute chapstick and lipgloss ADDICT. He has a specific, almost-clear, peachy pink-tinged, all natural (yes he is THAT bitch) not-tested-on-animals lipgloss that he wears virtually every day. He puts chapstick on every night before bed and has an entire bin of all his different flavors, colors, etc of chapstick. He would 100% wear a choker with a bell on it and clip on cat ears solely for the purpose of flustering someone and/or creeping them out. Two piercings in each earlobe, generally just wears hoops or little rings if he’s feeling more boring.

Asher isn't quite as out there as Gavin, but he also thinks that if anybody is going to judge him for his fashion choices they can just fuck right off. He loves layering— vests, halters, overalls, biker jackets, belts, corset tops and micro mini skirts over pants when he's feeling more adventurous, leg warmers, body chains and fingerless gloves are his Thing. He takes inspiration from a LOOOT of different aesthetics and it really just depends on his mood— alt, cottagecore, goblincore, 80s, light academia, romantic academia, aaaaalllll that good stuff. His favorite casual outfits would consist of smol t-shirts that say something about him (band t-shirt, show merch, etc) paired with baggy jeans, maybe with some patches or rips. Asher. Adores. Jewelry. You KNOW this man owns fifty thousand rings!!! He’s always wearing at LEAST two rings. He often wears those little netting black chokers and owns like three different pop tab necklaces, at least one of which is homemade. Speaking of, he’ll often make his own stuff! He can’t sew, but he’ll hack the sleeves off of a jacket or crop some jeans into shorts no hesitation, and is always painting designs on plain t-shirts and making jewelry out of discarded trash or unwanted beads. He and Milo went to get their ears pierced together when they were both teens. They both like studs the most, but while Milo generally sticks to round black or small silver studs, occasionally mixing it up with some tiny gold or silver rings, Ash has a whole collection of funky studs. Hello Kitties, pokéballs, little fried eggs, lemons, little puppy footprints, moons in all phases, stars, all manner of fruit, tiny sushi’s, tiny pizza slices, metallic strawberries, fuckin mermaids, nothing is too wacky for this man. Baabe gets him a new pair every chance they get.

Milo likes fashion but feels like the community is too competitive and unwelcoming to really get into it. He’ll often tag along to Asher and Baabe's thrift store trips, but he generally just ends up getting… ANOTHER denim or leather jacket. Yeah, this man owns a LOT of denim and leather jackets. He also has a massive, ever-growing collection of enamel pins with which to abuse said jackets. He owns a trench coat solely because it makes him look more intimidating on jobs, according to him. Milo CAN sew, and will embroider little embellishments on the cuffs of his jeans and the collars of his shirts 🥰. He does it to calm himself sometimes, and what it ends up being often completely depends on his mood and what media he’s consumed recently. He has jeans with spiders on the hem, with little howling wolves, with times trees, with bats, with daisies, with paw prints, with stars, even ones with little hearts. It annoys the shit out of him when Asher asks him to modify his clothes "I'm not ya personal tailor, Ash!!" but he’ll do it anyway, with enough weedling. His favorite casual outfit is just an old college tee, a Melanie Martinez shirt, or a Shaw Security shirt paired with a comfy old worn-out pair of jeans that he embroidered LITERALLY all over with whatever he was thinking of at the time.

David really doesn’t care about "fashion" per se, but he likes to feel put together. He generally wears polo shirts and nice jeans on a casual day, a button up and nice slacks on a more formal day, and will add a tie or even a blazer on the most formal of events. The only time Angel approves of his fashion is when he wears flannels with the sleeves rolled up in the fall and winter. 😏

I love that I found the Redacted Asmr community on tumblr. It has truly been giving me light in these last few dark weeks. I thought I would try my hand at a few of my own headcanons for the Shaw pack boys and my vampire prince and cowboy

David & Angel

Someone on here had mentioned that Angel must have talked with David about how he communicated with them. Because in the beginning of the videos with David he had so much pent up anger and was just mean. I like the idea of Angel standing up for themselves to David and telling him off.

Love the idea of David seeking therapy at Angel’s request to deal with his grief and anger about Gabe dying. I think David is obviously upset that his father died and sad for his loss. But I also think he has a lot of anger for being left alone and taking up the responsibility of the pack at such a young age.

David going to therapy and learning to communicate his feelings and how to properly cope with his father’s passing

David apologizing to Angel for being mean/agressive and promising to be better in how he talks to them

Milo - Sweetheart

Maybe its because I am Muslim but love love love the idea of stealth culture being Islamic in some ways. Like Sweetheart covers their hair with a hijab or wears more modest clothing because part of stealth culture is only revealing your body/self to those you trust or have deep commitments to.

Milo supporting Sweetheart through Ramadan. He will make sure they get up early enough to eat, do morning prayers before they have to get ready for work and is respectful of Sweethearts fasting

Milo educates the rest of the pack on Ramadan making sure members aren’t doing anything extremely explicit in front of Sweetheart so their fast is not broken

Sweetheart’s family does not live nearby so they often celebrate Eid alone if they can’t get back home to be with them. Milo gets the entire pack to participate and has David and Marie work together to cook an Eid meal for Sweetheart

Asher / Babe

Asher is the wolf boy that took the longest to grow on me. I thought he was to immature but he has truly grown on me and I love him! In my headcanon for him similar to how Angel had to talk with David about his behavior I think Babe had a similar moment. Asher is naturally sweet and playful but I can imagine in the beginning of their relationship Babe had to tell Asher to grow up.

Babe getting into it with Asher because he doesn’t clean up after himself and spent the entire day playing video games. After a hard and long day at the office Babe wants nothing more than to come back to a clean apartment. But once they arrive they find Asher in the same position they left him in before they went to work. Trash has not been taken out, sink full of dishes that weren’t there before, and dirty laundry still on your shared bedroom floor. Babe calls him out for breaking the promise he made to clean.

Babe having to be more parent than partner to their mate

Babe trying to go to bed early for work and Asher up late being loud playing video games

Asher being irresponsible over shared task that inconvenience Babe. Which leads to Babe blowing up at Asher

Asher recognizes his wrongs and becomes a more attentive partner. I think of the boys Asher is the most emotionally intelligent but Babe helps him be more cognizant of his own actions

In quite a few videos we see Asher saying he needs to step up to support David more. Babe helps Asher mature in so many ways because Babe has always had to take care of themselves while Asher has always had people take care of him.

Babe has a strong work ethic similar to David. And just like David needs Asher to pull a more playful side out of him. Ash does the same for Babe

Asher being afraid he isn’t growing as fast as his friends. David is engaged, Milo buying a new home, Christian is not as evil, Amanda moving away for new opportunities.

Babe comforting him and telling him not to compare his growth to others

Babe will sometimes support the pack and the security business by doing their accounting for them. They are great at numbers and have worked for many different accounting firms.

Sam and Darlin (Tank)

I cannot tell you how much I love the growth of their relationship. Both of them opening up and being vulnerable with one another makes my heart swell. Content warn for mentions of abusive relationships

I like the idea of Vincent having rubbed off on Sam by Sam sneaking into Darlin’s apartment to leave food in their very empty fridge. So when Tank wakes up and is hungry and checks their fridge they have all these meals with a note from Sam saying eat your veggies

Tank booking night time horse riding sessions because Sam loves horses and grew up riding them

In my mind and I’ve seen it on here mentioned a few times but Tank was in an abusive relationship with Quinn. Tank still gets unsettled watching Sam drink blood and has to remind themselves to make eye contact with Sam. Quinn use to trance them and make fun of them

Sam understands Darlin’s hesitation around vampires and in the beginning also noticed Darlin had a hard time making eye contact with him.

Tank sometimes feels insecure for not offering Sam to feed off of them. They understand that its a very intimate and trusting thing to do between vampires and their partners. But they think of the times Quinn fed on them without consent and would take too much blood and it scares them

Sam thinks about asking to feeding on Darlin but he doesn’t. He doesn’t want to trigger them and he still has a lot of internalized hate for being a vampire

Sam still struggles to feed sometimes and will go to the very last minute without getting blood. He prefers to drink blood with human food

Tank also makes sure Sam is eating by having blood available in their fridge for when Sam is over. They both argue about the other not taking care of themselves

Tank and Sam both working together to heal from their previous abusive relationships

Sam no longer wants to hate Alexis but cannot move on until she apologizes to him

When Tank brings Sam to pack events the younger shifters will often ask to race Sam to truly see how fast vampires can run

Sam once asked Darlin if they could ride them in wolf form. Darlin thought it was extremely cute and said yes but Sam was so embarrassed by the request he ended up not riding Darlin

Vincent + Lovely

I definitely was crying bad when Vincent turned Lovely. I like seeing how Lovely has come to terms with turning and relearning their body again.

Once Lovely was able to go out on their own after the bloodlust they had a lot of shit to share with their therapist!

Lovely sometimes will shock Vincent as a joke and still does

Vincent loves when Lovely uses their powers on him

Vincent has nightmares still about Inversion and Lovely has been trying to convince him to also start seeing a therapist

Lovely’s favorite date nights with Vincent are when they go for long night drives and stop at their favorite 24/7 Ice cream shop

Lovely’s fav ice cream is Ben and Jerrys Tiramisu. Vincent keeps their home stocked up on it

Vincent was known as player in his time before Lovely but Lovely to Vincents surprise also broke many hearts

Lovely ran into one of Vincents human relatives at the store one time. They have never told Vincent as he simply does not talk about his human family

Even though Lovely’s electro powers aren’t the same as they were before they still have quite a bit of power

This was a lot longer than anticipated. But those are my headcanons

OKAY SO I LIED

Angel is up first 💖 Cuz I said so >:)

These are my headcanons/OC’s for the Redacted ASMR listeners (Warning there is a lot, I tried to dumb it down a bit but still lol)

Angle <3

Name: Leo Evans Gender: gender fluid(bio fem) Pronouns: he/she/they depending on their mood

If they ever have kids Angle would be happy to have their kid(s) to call them mom. They see it as a title rather than a gendered term. I think rather than Mrs. or Mr. they would use Mx. :)

Angle is the oldest out of 4 kids. They have 2 young brothers and 1 younger sister.

Angle helped raise their siblings because their parents worked a lot. Leading them to resort to quick and easy, cheep meals to feed them and their siblings. They started working when they where 13 by just mowing grass in the summer/spring/fall gardening whenever they could and shoveling driveways in the winter. Their siblings would pitch in and they made it into a game.

They learned not to relay on their parents promises to hang out or spend quality time with any of their siblings because they 99% of the time they got called in or had an emergency. So they spent a lot of time trying to make it up to their siblings, making it a point to never lie to them or brake their promises to them.

They never hated their parents because they loved them they where just busy working to get bills payed and get food on the table. Angle wanted to take some stress off of their parents so they asked them to teach them to do taxes and stuff so they could do it well they finally either spent sometime with their siblings or slept. They also started shopping for groceries and clothes for them and their siblings.

They had a relatively small budget for food and stuff so they got a lot of cheap stuff and relied heavily on the food they got from the school. Saving up any left overs for new clothes or some presents for their siblings.

Well they only got very little for any Hollidays they wanted to make each one special for the others. That’s when they got into decorating and stuff.

They tried to never shoplift but their younger brother (who is the second oldest) would take hygiene products, as he noticed they were getting low so his sibling wouldn’t have to worry about management into the budget. They didn’t realize this until later on (adults) because they were too focused on everything else.

They tried to keep up with school and their homework but found it hard in between taking care of and helping their siblings. They where unfortunate in the teachers department for a wile so they got more stressed by that. “You can’t just not do your homework! It’s important and you will fail without it!” “Sr. all due respect I’m trying I help my siblings with theirs and-“ “Do it well they are sleeping! You need to get it done period! The next time you don’t turn in your homework when it’s due its detention Evans!” Also stuff like “You have free time. You need to use that to study and do your work. Your just being lazy.” So they always felt a need to work themselves to the point of exhaustion. (Their siblings tried the best they could to help but they where also just kids)

They considered dropping out to get a job but their brother (3rd oldest) helped them out.

Once they graduated they got a full time job.They worked at an office job where they handled financial stuff at first. They moved out to their own apartment but made sure to stop by and help out their siblings with anything they needed. Especially when they where sick.

Their apartment was all most always messy and they never eat anything other than cheap stuff or things from their friends. The oldest brother learned how to cook decent meals and their parents job raises so they could afforded some better things. They stoped by for food a lot because they where invited. Their siblings helped them clean their apartment a few different times and never judged them for it.

They had two really close friends in high school that also helped them out. They understood that they had problems with control and stuff so they always listened and didn’t get upset at any fits they had.( got some real one 🙏)

They have a few different ex’s Michael is one obviously. They had an ex-named John, Ethan, and Justin. Those are the ones that lasted longer than 2 months, they had others but their siblings always cut them off quick(and for good reason)

They started dating Justin is high school and he used them for their body which made their gender dysphoria extremely bad. They had it before, but were still coming to terms with it. He wrecked their self-confidence and it took them a wile to fix it. He cheated on them with a girl in their Science class. That was the final straw for their sister and she made them brake up with the dushbag. They dated for almost a year.

Them came Ethan who love bomed them. This was after he found out Justin had cheated on them and said his girlfriend cheated on him and was abusive as well.(he was lying). Whenever he wanted something and he didn’t get his way he started saying that they where started to act like his ex. They dated for 6 mouths before he slipped up and said it in front of their siblings and got kicked out real quick.

They hadn’t dated in a few years and met John after they moved out. They met him at work and they hit it off. It went well for a while till one day he come home (their apartment they where letting him stay in FOR FREE) drunk for the 3rd and started yelling and throwing things. They left the apartment and walked to their parents house to cry in their siblings arms (poor baby) They went back in the morning with their their brother(the older one) and he was still their, still drunk. They had amused he would be passed out but nooo of course he wasn’t. Which is why their brother instead to walk them home. He put himself between them and ended up getting hit in the face with a bottle. They snapped and knocked him out (work it bitch) . They checked on their brother and called the police,after explaining what happened they where just told to be more careful and to next time call the police when the throwing started so it could get stoped before it got worse than it was. Safe to say that he was not welcome back and they broke up. Sadly he didn’t want to let them go and started begging for them to take him back. They went to HR. But they where useless so they quit and changed jobs. They changed the locks on their apartment and their friend stayed over for awhile. (15 months)

Said friend was Michael who they had met though their other friend. He offered to stay over and help them out for a wile. He slept on the couch for the first few weeks. He helped them get their mental state to a better place and respected it when they came out to him. That’s when they started dateing. He put his arms on their shoulders and told them he cared for them and that they didn’t have to worry anymore. They asked if they could kiss him and he said yes. It evolved from there and they where together for almost 1 and a half years. They had a really heathy relationship and ended up adopting their cat Sweetie when her mom got hit by a car and was left calling out for her mom. Michael had a huge sweet spots for cats, and of course they did to. Sweetie obviously favored Michael, of course she loved them too but she always came when michael called. They broke up on decent terms.(Fell out of love and he wanted to figure himself out.) It still hurt but it wasn’t anything like their other relationships. They had gotten an apartment together so he helped them find a new and in a safe area (away from their ex who still tried to win they back sometimes) They left Sweetie with him when they moved out. They talked on occasion about the cat but both agreed they should probably keep their distance.

The day they met David they walked into a home where store cuz they needed ✨light bulbs✨ and that’s when they saw David. They thought he was cute and grabbed what they needed (+ a little eye candy) and head for the self checkout. They put the bag in their car and went across town to get gas cuz it was ✨cheaper✨ as they where filling their tank they where watching YouTube and an add popped up for a game they had been wanting in a store right across the street. Of course they went to go check it out. They walked in and started looking for it. They noticed David again when they went to check out (they had gotten the game and a new cover for their switch cuz it had Link on it). They knew they saw in at the hardware store and still thought he was cute. But of course a few warnings went off because they where raised to be careful and they raised their siblings that way to. They where going to go home but they started to feel hungry and remembered about the fast food joint relatively close to their apartment and decided to go their for lunch. Then BOOM 💥 A wild David appeared! They said fuck it and made a move. You know where it went from their.

They told David a lot about their childhood but left out a lot of the sad stuff because they still where early in the relationship and they didn’t want to overwhelm him. ( cough cough-you can blame a certain ex for that) of course they told him about their cat and Michael. They mentioned they had other exes to but tried not going into a lot of detail. Of course David found out eventually. (Later on I think.) When John saw them with David outside and he ran up to them smothering them. Of course they tried to push him off, panicking, and David very quickly stepped in and pulled him off of them. Their ex tried to say they where his and David almost growled at him. Once they got away from the bitch David was going to ask who the hell he was but saw that his Angle was close to tears and shaking. He took them home and they told him what happened between them. Of course he was concerned and asked why they hadn’t told him. (He was calm here and wasn’t upset like the jealousy video) (that video made me cry by the way.) They told him they thought he stoped and they just wanted to forget about him. David understand and comforted them. (I WANT HIM OMG T^T)

So I have seen a lot of the Pups AU and I am engulfed by it. So for a little bit of context David and Angle had 2 kids Gabriel who was their first Kido and Natalie the second one

I absolutely love them and I want to add a few things myself - go check it out it is truly amazing 🥰 such amazingness

So because Angle is biologically a female for my OC they gave birth (I would like to say that this makes their identity no less valid and if you think trans people (specifically trans FTM, can’t give birth because it makes them “not a man “or “proves they are a woman “) get the fuck out please and thank you 🥰)

I said up at the top that I think Leo would use the term mom more as a role than gendered thing :) so somethings here include mom as a title they use :)

I think they had a C-section for Gabriel and he had some problems at birth. He was born with pneumonia and had to be care for in the hospital for a wile ( my brother was born pre-mature and with pneumonia so this is a little bit of a personal insert. My brother is fine btw it ok :D )

This of course worried David and Leo both but Gabriel was ok after getting the proper treatment, with Magic the recovery process was a lot easier to. When they finally got to bring him home the others where all over him. Of course everyone respected boundaries and didn’t push for Leo or David to let them hold or say hi or anything. About a week after they came home they invited Ash,babe,Milo,sweetheart,Sam,Darlin and Marie to come over a met/hold Gabriel for the first time. It was really sweet and Leo took a much needed rest with David as Darlin( this will make more sense when I post theirs lol) and Marie feed/held him.

When Gabriel first started going to school Angle was really worried, obviously, just nerves and Christian help with that because he was also a Parent and his kid was all ready in school. When Natalie was born she did not have any health problems and they could come home a lot sooner. Leo took a lot of videos of Gabriel and Natalie when they were babies and continue to as they grow up because they are adorable and want them to be able to look back at it. (Also because David never got to know his mom and only knew her though story’s and pictures,they wanted to make sure that if anything happened to them their kids would have something)

Also Leo is super protective of their kids. They got called to the school once because Natalie’s skirt was “to short” and she was in a tank top. And when I say Leo went off on the teacher that said that and the vice principal, I mean they had both of them almost trembling. After that they tried calling David. Ya no that didn’t work ether. Turns out he’s also protective and won’t stand for bigotry.

When Natalie was in middle school after her powers had manifested she was being picked on by some older kids. Well normally she wouldn’t take it she was tired and just wanted to go to lunch. A freelancer, a water elemental and a air elemental were the ones picking on her. A fire elemental that was her age stepped in and told them to go away. The freelancer started arguing with the fire elemental and she started to heat up (no fault of her own) and this is when the water and air elemental got the bright idea to poor freezing water on the two girls. Natalie noticed and went into defensive mode pushing the girl out of the way and tackling the water elemental. The freelancer then decided to use fire and ended up burning Natalie‘s side Natalie shifted to protect the other fire elemental girl. Darlin’s kid gave Natalie their gym clothes and her and the fire elemental girl where taken into the office. Angel was called along with the other girls father. Angel was told that her daughter had been fighting and needed to come be picked up they we’re told nothing about the severe burn on Natalies side. She of course want to the school and was on the phone with David when they spotted the fire elementals father outside of the office and she asked. It ended up being Damien who was their with Gavin because of course Damien was upset that his daughter had been fighting, but was concerned because she never got into a five before. So Gavin went with him after he got the call. They talked and what Damien was told was that his daughter had gotten into a fight with another girl in her grade and burned her. Of course this worried Leo because they were told nothing about their daughter being burned. When they were allowed into the office to speak to the kids Angel immediately went out to Natalie and asked what happened and if she was ok. Natalie said she was fine and immediately started defending the girl, saying that she had defended her and she wasn’t the one to burn her. Gavin offered to heal her and Leo thanked him repeatedly. After hearing the full story all of them where upset. Damien‘s daughter was really worried because she thought she did something wrong. Leo quickly assured her that she did nothing wrong and thanked her for trying to help her daughter. Leo then told her daughter to go out in the hall with Damien’s daughter and to plug her ears because “Mommy’s gonna be really loud for a minute ok?” They proceeded to tear the principal the vice principal a new one they told them if something like this ever happened again that they would no longer have a job. they apologize to Damien and Gavin for the misunderstanding and they exchange phone numbers. When David found out he was pissed. So that’s all I have Angle I’m tired and I’m not gonna proof read this rn,I’ll do it tomorrow and edit any mistakes, if you notice any please point them out kindly :) thank you and I have you enjoyed I probably will make a few short one shots about Angle and their ex’s and David :) I

Eos Argent: A stalwart mage with mysterious powers and a melancholic, almost Ket-like mannerism. There are many rumors surrounding this woman. And not all pleasant. Description: Standing at a rather short height, she has a sturdy built with round features and white skin. Her large shiny eyes, sharp nose and small mouth seem to give her an owl-like appearance. Most notable features are her many scars, heavy knee length hair and intricate pale red tattoos.

She has many fake names and also some that are real but not what she goes by anymore like her ex marital one. Later she'd likely take Blade's family name and confuse everyone becaue of their ranks... Argent IS her father's clan name though she didn't use it for a long time...

Actually, was interested in Tallys first but her no relationship thing made her like :/// so it didn't work out but I imagine Tallys keeps this information in her mind lol totally not thinking she'll be immortal due [redacted] & end up with Tallys after everyone's gone. Crocheted things I'd make for Redacted characters (if I was actually good at crocheting):

Lasko - a cute bag for his dice, probably something fruit-themed. Imagine him taking his dice out at a DnD session with his friends and having to explain that his partner made the bag for him.

Huxley - surprisingly not a sweater - some floral garlands to decorate his room. This is low key continuing with the hippie Hux headcanon, but even if not, I think he'll like some crochet flowers to go with the real ones.

Gavin - some nice jewellery, maybe something with rhinestones or pearls woven into it. Probably earrings.

Damien - wristbands and a headband for his sports. I'm not sure if people even actually do that, or that's just an eighties cliche, but I think he might get even more flustered about a present.

Caelum - a cute amigurumi - a frog or one of those reversible octopuses or literally anything.

David - a hat with wolf ears on it (and your last will with it), seriously though something for the kitchen - oven gloves or a case to keep the kettle/pots warm.

Asher - a lace collar/chocker, for when he feels more "uwu softboy" than leather and spikes, you know.

Milo - a cute outfit detail for aggro like a frog hat or something. He absolutely does not wear it, but they'll do their best to put it on to at least take a picture.

Vincent - a steering wheel case I'm joking, of course, his cars are too fancy for that. Probably a soft fluffy cardigan he can wear at home.

Sam - a vest. It might or might not be brown and have a golden "Sherif" star on the chest. Yes, it's a cowboy vest but it's also crocheted.

Aaron - a mouse rag/pad and/or a small pillow to put under your wrist to prevent joint pains. He might take it to work and glare at anyone who so much as tries to look the wrong way at it.

Ollie - this guy literally has a newly renovated apartment so there's a ton of opportunities here - I'd go for pillowcases for the sofa or a patchwork blanket.

Geordi - a patchwork bag, probably with a colourful design. I'm also still going a bit with the headcanon of househusband Geordi.

FlyBoi - a scarf and/or a hat - he has to travel for work and probably experiences some swift climate changes.

Cam - some horn decorations, Cam deserves nice things for himself.

Avior - a really fancy bookmark.

Elliott - the dreamwalker clearly gets a huge and really soft blanket (made from this really thick yarn).

Summary: Under bright neon lights, banging club music and surrounded by sweaty bodies, Angel meets with the most attractive person in the world. And that says something since they're with David!

OK, before we start, can I just say how much I procrastinate with this oneshot? Yeah, it pissed me the fuck off. I'm starting to get a little burnout from work and trying to churn out oneshots for this writing event as much as I can that I can't believe my biggest issue is procrastination instead of writer's block!

So what I'm gonna do is take a chill from writing for a few days before jumping back at it—watching some other ASMR stories or something just to replenish the creative juices.

Anyway, for this oneshot, I added a lot of my personal headcanons to Angel and Darling just to flesh them out a little bit more.

I hope you guys will enjoy it!

Angel resist the urge to grin as they carefully apply their eyeliner while David is hovering behind them like a looming ghost.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" David repeats for the second time; he's pressing close to Angel's back. Angel doesn't need to look up at the mirror to see how their boyfriend is fretting.

"Davey, it's Mates Night, so that means no boyfriends allow." Angel playfully reminds the Werewolf about their's, Babe's and Sweetheart's monthly gathering. Ever since the trio became fast friends, Babe suggested they have their very own night out together without their boyfriends. And so, Mates Night came to be.

When David hears about their outings, he's initially happy that his Angel is becoming close with the Mates of his Pack Members, but then a tiny part of him sulk at the thought that Angel prefers to hang out with Asher's and Milo's Mates more than him.

Never in a million years did David think he'd be the clingy type, and oh God, if Angel ever finds out about it, they won't stop teasing him. Ever. It's bad enough how Asher would persistently blow up his phone to invite him over to his apartment to play video games in hopes to distract himself from Babe's absence. But when you throw Milo into the mix, the three of them becomes super competitive in front of the Xbox.

So yes, Mates Night is a thing within the Shaw Pack. David, Asher and Milo would always grumble and hover around their Mates like the protective boyfriends they are whenever it's time to go.

"Hey, Davey?" Angel's sweet voice interrupts the Alpha's train of thoughts. When he stares at his partner through the mirror, Angel is done with their makeup. "Can you pick what I wear tonight? Babe and Sweetheart mention that their boyfriends are doing the same too. So...?" Here, Angel tilts their head back to wiggle their eyebrows at David.

Something primal within David jumps at the idea of dressing his partner. The knowledge that Angel would be walking around wearing his favourite colours, clothes that appeal to him while he gets to decide just how much skin he allows strangers to catch a glimpse on his Mate.

David internally stomps that part of him before Angel realise how much he loves it.

"If you want." David reply gruffly and turn towards their shared wardrobe. He completely missed out on a snickering Angel behind him. They dutifully trot behind him as David rummage through their clothes with a focus of a man on an important mission. A good combination of his and Angel's favourite colours and a set of clothes that David knew his Mate looked attractive in is a good start.

His black leather jacket is definitely a must for Angel, even if it's a little big for them. It might be an odd contrast to the rest of the attire, but the jacket serves as a warning for opportunists that his Mate is taken.

Meanwhile, Angel's eyebrows slowly raise as David sets out the clothes on the bed. "You're giving me your jacket?"

"It's going to get cold later," David immediately explains, refusing to meet eye contact with a knowing Angel. "It's almost Autumn, and I don't want you getting sick. The last time you were bedridden with a fever, you refused to rest, and I near damn had to wrestle your Switch from your hands."

Angel lets out an 'aww', and David's face reddens in embarrassment. He then grumbles when Angel launches themselves at him to pepper his face with kisses. "That's very sweet of you, Davey! OK! I promise to take good care of your jacket. I know how much it means for you."

Oh, David can complain all he wants, but Angel has seen how much care he put into Asher's gift. Actions always speak louder than words when it comes to David Shaw.

"Are you trying to suffocate me with kisses?"

"Depends. It is working?"

"Go change already, you brat. I'll be downstairs with your things."

Angel gives their boyfriend a salute, a bright smile and starts changing their clothes. David left their bedroom for the living room to start a fire in the hearth. He wasn't joking when he mentioned that it would get cold pretty soon. By the time the living room is pleasantly warm, David can hear the soft patter of footsteps coming down from the stairs.

"Is your phone fully charged? Do you need - " David began and turns around. That's when words are trapped in his throat the moment Angel slyly walks towards him. God, do they look absolutely breathtaking in those clothes!

Angel is ready to have fun with the other Mates in a club tonight.

"My phone's fine. Can I have my backpack, please, Davey?" Angel pleads coquettishly. When they press themselves into David's chest, the Werewolf's head spin over his Mate's scent and how soft Angel's body is. That primal part in David made itself known again when it begs him just to throw Angel on their bed and forget Mates Night ever existed.

Sensing the conflict within David, Angel smile slyly, loving the effect they have on him. So they drop their voice to sound sweeter and add, "Pretty please, Davey? Sweetheart is already outside the house. It'll be a shame if I bail on them."

David sighs loudly; he then narrows his eyes at his impish partner. "You know exactly what you're doing, don't you? Getting me all riled up and forcing me to watch you step out of the house wearing that outfit. God, you're such a tease."

Angel had the audacity to laugh at David's torture. "I'm only a tease for you. But hey..." Here, Angel gently cups David's face and smile softly. The kind of smile that never fails to set his heart at ease. "You know you're it for me, right? I know I tease you a lot, and trust me, I really do love it whenever you get possessive, but Davey, I can't imagine a future without you." They pause and startle a lovestruck Davey by booping his nose. Angel giggle at the comical look on his face. "I love you, Davey."

David twitches his nose in a show of irritation, but in the end, he lets out a tiny smile. "I love you too, Angel. I hope you and the others have fun tonight. Can I have a kiss before you hit the road?"

Angel happily obliges him. After checking that they have their phone, wallet, and keys to the house in their backpack, David sees them off and even wave to Sweetheart in the driver's seat.

It's only when their car pulls out of the driveway that David goes back inside.

The moment he closes the door, Asher starts calling him nonstop on his phone.

"Damn it, Asher..." David groans. He could already tell how's his night would go down.

Better prepare the fire extinguisher then.

Meanwhile, the boys' Mates are having fun all night long.

The chaotic atmosphere and colourful lights immediately greet Angel, Babe, and Sweetheart when they enter the nightclub. The loud music and noises envelop the three as they push through a crowd of people towards the dancefloor.

Angel had a good time dancing with their friends, loving the eyes and attention they garnered, but they made sure to firmly reject strangers' offer of dancing together or free drinks. Some took the hint, but Sweetheart is more than happy to get in between them and Angel when it comes to those with thicker skin and fewer brain cells in their heads.

"I'm going to chill at the bar for a sec!" Angel shouts to their friends. The music is the loudest on the dancefloor, and combined with the laughing and shrieking of the other club goers, talking to Sweetheart and Babe is near impossible. Even when they are dancing close to them.

"Call us if you need anything!" Babe reply with a wide grin. Sweetheart is teaching them how to dance, and so far, it's been a hit or miss. Neither of them is complaining, though.

Angel nods and does their best to push through the crowd. By the time they reach the bar, they sigh in relief. The noises are a bit quieter here, more breathable.

"Hey there. What can I get you?" The bartender greets Angel once they hop onto the stool. A couple is having a deep conversation on their left while a brooding man is nursing his drink on the right.

"Can I just have something light and sweet, please? Oh! Do you have those tiny umbrellas too?"

The bartender cracks a smile. "Yes, we do. I'll whip something out for you real quick." When Angel thanks him, he starts to prepare their drink.

Angel keep themselves busy by texting David about how their night is going. They laugh when Asher somehow manages to steal his phone and snap a picture of himself with David and Milo bickering in the background. It looks like the Werewolves are around the kitchen's island. Milo and David are covered in flour with a giant dough spread in front of them.

"Here's your drink." The bartender slides Angel a glass filled with colourful liquids swirling delicately. It's like a rainbow. When he glances up, his polite smile turn into a full-blown shit-eating grin. "Oh hey, good to see you're alive. How've you been, Tanker?"

"Still full of shit as ever, eh, Gray? Looks like you have a full liquor bar tonight. Be a shame if I drink it all dry."

It's the baritone voice that caught Angel's attention first before the owner of said voice takes a vacant seat beside Angel. When Angel subtly side-eye to the right to take a good look at the stranger, well, it's a good thing that they weren't holding their drink or the table would be a mess.

The stranger? Yeah, they're absolutely jaw-dropping; a solid 15/10, no joke. From their 'I just had a wild time in the closet' hairstyle to the flowers and bullets tattoo creeping on the back of their neck and a physique build like Davey's, the stranger beside Angel is the physical embodiment of every sexy song that they could think of!

"You know..." The stranger suddenly begins. Angel's heart skips a beat at their voice. "You're not really as subtle as you think." They throw Angel a tiny but amused smile.

Angel flustered automatically at getting caught. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to stare! I saw your tattoos, and I was curious..." They hurry to take a sip of their sweet drink to soothe their flushed face.

"Oh, you saw that? You have a good eye." The stranger complimented, pleasantly surprised at Angel's observation skill. The bartender interjects to hand over the stranger's drink, and they immediately raise it towards Angel.

Angel clink their glass with the stranger's. They both take a swing.

"They look super cool. Um, the tattoos, I mean." Angel said, loving how the sweet and burning taste of the alcohol sends tingles on their tongue before it settles in their stomach. "Is there a story behind it?"

The stranger - whom Angel mentally calls 'hot stuff' - finishes their glass of beer in three mouthfuls and signals the bartender for another one. The man roll his eyes but did as requested. "Not really. Ironies are funny to me." They reply with a sardonic smile. When Angel's face reddened once more, they let out a chuckle.

The stranger and Angel hit it off quite well after that. Angel quickly finds that their new friend is the exact opposite of them and how much fun that is during their conversation. They're reserved, but when Angel manages to get a laugh out of them, their expression loses a bit of its stoicism. When the conversation shifts to hobbies, Angel is thrilled to find someone who enjoys playing Minecraft, Animal Crossing and Untitled Goose Game just as much as them.

"My life is incredibly hectic as of currently," Angel's new friend explained after their fourth glass. Man, can they really hold their drink. "So playing games like Animal Crossing help me calm down and unwind. I never go anywhere without my phone, wallet and Switch."

Angel cheers; they knock their glasses once more. As the night grows long and Babe and Sweetheart are still having fun on the dance floor, Angel and their new friend talk about everything and anything they can think of. They trade stories about their careers; the stranger is fascinated over Angel's domestic travels and shenanigans as a senior auditor for the company they work for, while Angel's world was yanked from their feet when the stranger explains the pros and cons as a fashion designer and what it's like working with unruly models.

Soon enough, the topic of the club and the city are brought to the table.

"This place is one of my favourite spots in Dahlia. I used to come here with... someone." Angel couldn't help but notice that last word was spoken with barely concealed bitterness. There's a story there. The stranger lightly shakes their head and continues, "We didn't end things on a good note."

"So why are you still here?" Angel asks curiously. They figured that even if the nightclub is their favourite hangout location, the bad memories associated with this place would deter the stranger from visiting again. But here they are, at ease and doing their best to drain the bartender's shelves.

"Got chewed out by my boss yesterday. He was merciless," The stranger grumbles. They push away their empty mug and move on to something lighter and sweeter, like Angel's. The bartender quip back and remind the stranger that he will happily snap a picture of their drunk ass if Angel's new friend pass out later. They make a bet about it before their attention return to Angel. "He's a hardass and has the nerve to complain about my distance when we're never even close in the first place. I would've bitten his head off, but you know... he's my boss and all that." The stranger gesture to their drink to make a point. "So I'm here because Gray knows how to mix the best amnesiac drinks."

Said bartender throws a flying kiss at his acquaintance, which earns him a middle finger from Angel's companion. He just laughs it off before attending to the rest of the customers.

Angel's eyebrows knitted in concern and sympathy. "I'm sorry to hear that, man. Did you take an Uber here? My friends and I could send you back home later if you want." They offer. Angel had enough of their drink and is more interested in getting to know their new friend. In some ways, they remind them of Davey.

The stranger is taken aback by the kind offer. As if they couldn't believe how genuine Angel is to, well, a stranger like them. "Thank you; you're very kind, but I'll be alright. I know when to stop, and if I don't, Gray will do it for me."

"You bet your sweet ass I will!" The bartender shouts from the end of the table. "I don't need you to start roughhousing my customers again!"

"It was one time, and that jackass needed to learn not to put his greasy hands on people's bodies!"

Angel laugh at their banter. When they settle down, Angel speaks in a more sombre tone. "I'm not trying to preach you or anything, but your boss sounds like he wants to get to know you better. Uh, professionally, I hope. That doesn't sound like a bad thing."

The stranger sighs wearily and rubs their temple. "It's not, but both of us aren't good at verbally expressing how we feel, so we just didn't go for that extra mile when it comes to extending the olive branch. It's like, 'if you need anything, feel free to drop a call or text', but you know... you never actually do it because it'll be awkward as hell."

"If talking is hard, maybe the both of you can listen to one another?" Angel suggests. "Talking doesn't mean much if both parties don't want to listen to the other. I've rambled on and on about my Minecraft world, and you were such a good sport at listening and intervening when you don't know how to craft something. Perhaps you can give that a shot with your boss?"

"But that's gaming stuff, not... important topics like 'acting on my own volition and risking the safety of my colleagues'," Angel's eyebrows immediately rise, but the stranger is oblivious to their shock. Damn, Angel didn't know the fashion industry is that cutthroat! "All I wanted was to protect them, but all I got from that is a confrontation instead. I guess they were right; the road to hell is paved with good intention."

"Wow..." Is all Angel could say, really.

The stranger then apologises for their rant, and to make up for it, they pick up Angel's tab.

By the time Sweetheart and Babe exhaust themselves on the dance floor and head towards Angel, the stranger and Angel exchange phone numbers. Before they left the club, they promised to share all of their other favourite spots in the city with Angel.

"I know a great gaming store that sells second-hand games for reasonable prices. Worth every dollar." They explained. "Went to the same school with the owner, so he always hooked me up with the newest games in the market."

"Oh, hell yeah! I'd love to go there with you sometimes. Also, I seriously need you to give me some fashion tips because what you're wearing right now? Absolutely banging."

Angel is delighted when their new friend ducks their head shyly at the compliment. "Thanks, and uh, sure. I don't know why you need it, though. Your style is pretty solid and eye-catching. Especially with that jacket; it totally stands out from the rest of your attire. It makes you look bold and demands attention."

"High praise coming from a fashion designer!" Angel couldn't help beam and pull the collar of the leather jacket. "My boyfriend insists that I wear this tonight. It's his, actually.

Ange's new friend snorts. "Figures. Is he the possessive type?"

"Yup, but not like, super crazy about it."

"Good. 'Cause if you need someone to punch some sense into him, hit me up. I'm serious."

"I believe you. Oh! I think I see my friends coming over. You should meet them; they'd love you!"

"Maybe next time. My ride is here. Thanks for the drinks, Gray; you're still an asshole, though."

"You too, buddy. Don't be a stranger now!"

Angel giggle when their new friend rolls their eyes. They then give a parting nod to Angel. "I'll see you soon. Take care of yourself."

"You too!"

However, neither of them expects soon meant the next Pack meeting. Angel would be the first one to happily declare that they had fun doing the iconic Spiderman meme with their new Werewolf friend.

Milo spits out his drink when Angel rushes over to Darling and hug them tightly as if the two are long-lost friends. Asher's eyes bug out when Darling returns the embrace, while David has no idea what is happening.

It was an experience for everyone involved.
