One-on-one training sessions with Rey were fine. Really. Even if he did spend half the time adjusting his shorts, trying to will away an erection, Ben knew he'd gladly sign up for a special session with her again.

Ben wouldn't normally be described as a himbo. He did, after all, graduate at the top of his class and spent several years climbing through the ranks at First Order Industries.

But now that his life had crashed and burned with the indictment of his mentor, and he had to move back in with his parents while he reevaluated his life, his confidence was at an all-time low.

There was just something about coming home. It wasn't his fault that he was clumsy and lost for words whenever Rey was around. At least she thought he was funny even when he fell off the treadmill, twisted his ankle in yoga, and accidentally signed up for the senior line dancing classes.

God. He really was a disaster, wasn't he?

Rey’s neighbor is the most annoying man she’s ever met. Always too self-absorbed to bother saying hello in the hallway, always taking her favorite parking spot in the garage, always avoiding the building’s social gatherings—didn’t his mother teach him any manners?

But when someone gives the grumpy alpha a rut-inducing drug, Rey decides to help. She may prefer to ignore the frustrating man, but she’s not going to abandon a person in trouble—no matter how aggravating they might be.

Unfortunately, the proposed ‘neighbors with benefits’ solution is complicated. It may seem simple if she just thinks about the biological aspect, but Rey has no interest in having a mate or any long-term relationship. The alpha next door agrees to her terms, but both of them may be signing up for more than they can handle.

And neither considers the risks to their hearts.

Posted in February 2022 on Twitter, this is Violinist!Rey and Cellist!Ben. On the technical level, words cannot express how much I love them. Rey gave me such a hard time (more than usual!) until I finally found the right pic… I had to cutout the body and paste it on DR’s face (it’s usually the other way around) but when she finally came together I almost cried because she looks awesome. Ben simply fell into it like the good boy that he is.

“You have cherry pie filling on your cheek,” Ben said, gesturing to where she’d managed to smear food almost cheek to cheek in her haste to eat it. “And some icing right there.”

“What to help me clean it up?” Rey asked, her tone cheeky as she leaned toward him.
