Jessica Drew is settling a dispute between the two passengers when she gets attacked by Ripley Ryan, also known as Star, the antagonist who has a petty grudge with superheroes especially Carol Danvers and her friends (including Jessica Drew).
Jessica goes outside the train to fight Star on the rooftop. The two women keep blasting and throwing punches until Star blows up the bridge. Star was shocked by her actions as she did not mean to blast at the bridge, she only meant to blast at Jessica. Star asks Jessica whether she has web powers to help in fixing the bridge but unlike Spider-Man, Jessica does not have web powers to fix the bridge. Star tries to fix the bridge herself with her reality-warping powers (which actually came from the reality stone) but fails as the "fixed" bridge fell apart easily from the heavy weight of the train. While Star tries to hold the train up, Jessica goes inside to save the trapped child in the train. Both Jessica and the child managed to get out of the train before it explodes. Jessica gives the boy to the father who tells her that the lady in the cape (Star) had apologized to the passengers before flying away.
I just read King in Black: Thunderbolts by Mathew Rosenberg and Juan Ferreyra and I am obsessed with these two. I never thought Star and the Taskmaster would be so fucking cute together, WTF. Starsky is my new hyper-fixation.
