yaeow, Rnla & Rxseboy – free with you (remix) (Official Lyrics) Lyrics, Letra yaeow
I don’t know where to go
I don’t think this world is made for me
Behind the clouds there’s a castle in the sky
And I just want you to take me there
And then I’m free
Then I’m free with you
Then I’m free
Then I’m free with you
I don’t know where to go
I don’t think this world is made for me
Behind the clouds…

Excerpt
The sietch is alive with motion and noise as several people prepare for the return of their loved ones that went out with Paul and Stilgar. There’ll likely be a gathering in the great hall where the two men make some announcement regarding some of the younger Fremens’ whispers that Paul should challenge the sietch leader and take over completely. It doesn’t concern you. You’re sick of the politics, have been for a long time, and know that regardless of who rules - Stil or ‘the Muad’Dib’ - you have your place with the Reverend Mother and Harah. One of the Fedaykin stands guard outside, sparing you only a glance before returning to stare straight ahead while you head inside.

Excerpt
He wakes you with a kiss. Two kisses, actually. First on your lips and then on your forehead as you’re still blinking away sleep. He sits at the edge of the bed, face hovering close, already dressed in jeans and a plaid shirt. His voice comes out gruff and hoarse, sounding as freshly awake as you are.
“Have to go downstairs, get a fire going.” He’s right, you realize. Now that your body’s starting to wake up you can feel the winter chill nipping at your toes, at your bare shoulders.

Here’s a simple passive sidechain highpass for FMR RNC & RNLA compressors.
The RNC and RNLA are ludicrously good compressors for the money, and both of them do things that no other compressors do. There’s plenty of info on the interwebz about them, so I won’t go on a rant about how cool they are. But one of their overlooked features is the sidechain insert jack. Note that this is not just a key input for ‘ducking’ action, it is an effects loop for the detector. The send is on the tip and return is on the ring -- so, for example, you could insert an EQ here and boost 4-5kHz and turn the comp into a de-esser. Or, if you’re doing drums and bassy stuff, you can EQ a highpass into the sidechain to prevent your kick drum or palm-muted guitar chords from pumping the compressor action. One way to do this is with a guitar pedal EQ and an insert cable.
But if all you need is the sidechain highpass, you can do that with a simple passive filter. Just wire a capacitor across the tip and ring terminals of a TRS plug. I’ve made a whole bunch of these, each with different corner frequencies, so I can just grab whichever one I need without worrying about cabling or power.
The RNC and RNLA both have a sidechain return input impedance of 20k, so these are a sampling of values you might try, and their respective corner frequencies:
100nF - 80Hz
68nF - 118Hz
47nF - 170Hz
33nF - 240Hz
I’ve found that highpassing the sidechain makes both comps even more useful for drum buss, acoustic guitar, and program material. It’s a feature that you find on a lot of higher end buss comps (e.g. API calls it the ‘thrust’ control). It makes the low end much more prominent while also reducing its tendency to overmodulate the gain reduction.
