I've made a lot of self inserts, like more than that's probably considered normal even now when I've realized I have a habit of adding parts of myself to characters I don't consider self inserts

Dreyan and subsequently Anna, to a lesser extent, were at once nothing but the culmination of negative and positive traits but have since grew into their own characters, a Tragic Hero save from his fate and the Heroine who saved him

Vari at one point was something I considered my fursona but has since became an expression of an existential fear I still kinda harbor to this day, that no matter what you want to be, what you are is set in stone because of the person that you came from, a reoccurring theme that happens to nearly the entire Ahbell family as well as a good chunk of OCs from the ruinverse as I think the whole "Being better than what others think you are" is a theme I like to vibe with. (plus I made the mistake of giving them a hot mom which would make things awkward going forwards)

Vio was my first foray into feeling out a one true self insert and playing around with my ideas of femineity and gender identity and though I'm actually unsure if I still consider him a self insert or not, I am excited to write about him his weird hybrid universe made out of two universes and the other kinky witches he's surrounded by

DV is a near straight, one to one rip of me as a person, who's whole thing is playing the straight man to a dystopian world that runs on porn logic, which is funny cause his story is probably gonna end up being the least serious, probably anyway

Also shout out to Dia who's also the first self insert who started out as a homestuck OC and developed into a multiverse-hopping inventor, and it kills me every time I remember rick and morty exists cause I can't remember if I ripped them off or not.

Allie and Kit-Ruinverse

These two are the main characters, both of them are outsiders from their home village and were judged for it. It’s nice how they ended up being accepted in the end, I have mixed feelings on the game as the story is interesting, but boss fights felt too hard no matter how much I tried to prepare for them and its to the point I feel I can’t replay on normal difficulty.

Both outfit designs looked nice and I feel they pushed me to put a bit effort in than I have lately (at least outfit details wise).

The First Soul

The first soul radiates a soft aura an is in the shape of a feline demi-human. As you get closer it recants it's tale.

I was Queen Xocolati's first husband, taken so she could assume the title and responsibilities without pushback from the noble class even though they sneered at my status as a now former slave. Despite my marriage being out of mere necessity I had little to complain about, though I did have fears about how my queen would see me but to my surprise she treated me as an equal and often sought my consul about how to properly run her kingdom, together we even outlawed and dismantled most of the slave trade within The Golden Desert region.

My end came when I retreated with her to our bedroom for the final time. Her touch was always softer than I was ever used to and she never crossed the limit I set, but slowly but surely I grew to find a certain comfort to be under her power, her expansive girth. Eventually I found myself pushing my way into her open maw, over her tongue that licked so tenderly as if to savor every taste of me. Eventually her mouth crested over my admittedly wide hips and by then I knew I was hers in body. Despite how vast her unsealed form was her stomach held me with a cozy embrace behind her thick wall of fat I once embraced. Even then I could faintly feel her, graciously patting her gut as if I was the best meal she's had in a long time and heard her voice assuring me that she would either let me out soon or could reform me later. I rejected both offers, I felt that this was right becoming completely one with her and after an agonizing moment she asked if I was sure, I was. So she obliged my desires, I have to admit that the idea of all safety nets were cut made my pulse pound and I selfishly gave into those impulses and pleasured myself against her walls, coaxing her into reaching down and squeezing her gut, squeezing me, milking me for everything I could offer until my form fell apart through the churning chyme, but still I didn't leave, I couldn't leave. I don't know if this was one purpose or if she was even away but when my soul fled my slurried form it could not escape the confines of her gut so instead I sank deeper and became one with it and thus she claimed me in spirit. I see the world through her eyes and await the day she seeks my consul again, and maybe I would experience her touch once more.

The shape vanishes in a plume of light and what remains is an urn atop a pillar made of sandstone along with a cube of resin that contained a pair of thongs. Below it there's a plaque that reads.

Here lies the First King of The Golden Sands Husband to Queen Xocolati Danos (Blank) Danos (First name lost to time.)

Baxter: he has spent a lot of time wishing that he could witness the times before the Ancients were wiped off the world, but he'd panic at the thought of being born in any other time and place than the one he lives in because he wouldn't have the job he loves back then, Ancient artifacts wouldn't have been a mystery XD. Also he loves Aurora and B too much to leave them behind. On Earth he would have loved the industrial revolution.

Asta: she'd choose to live during the time the first nomad organized fighter groups were being developed, around 500 years after the disappearance of the Ancients. She is fascinated with the cohesion of groups so witnessing the first time a working system appeared would have been quite interesting to her. On Earth she would choose ancient times if the option of changing her gender to be a part of Roman legions was available lol

My characters: Erik Samson aka Professor Override.

A character I have been playing around with in my head for a while.

Created for a superhero verse known as the Ruinverse, which I will probably get into later. Short version is that in this timeline the in-universe equivalent of Superman, the golem Obelisk, arrived (or in this case was created by ancient wizards) 10,000 years ago and has been saving people and preventing wars since creation. Also super powers have been a thing since before that. 

Born in what we would call Germany to a fairly normal family, he came into telepathic powers fairly in life. Both his parents are flatscan cops. A fun loving kid, always willing to lend a hand or a fist when required. Grew fast and strong, the oldest of 4 siblings.

Enlisting in the telepathic schools, he caught the eye of the Society of Guarding Shadows, a demon hunting organization, and joined their academies. Proving to have the tenacity of a potential demon hunter, he graduated to the rank of apprentice and was assigned to the Lord Hunter Ester Mir when he turned 16.

Ester was a jerk as a mentor, but she trained him how to use his powers and how to fight, both demons and mortals. Erik’s powers are both incredibly powerful (to the point of potentially rivaling prof x) but have a pitiful range, requiring him to get in close quarters to make the most of them. He compensates via using his powers on himself, both to remove his body’s natural limiters to improve physical abilities and to help him process information quicker. Also learned how to use guns and other weapons, favoring shotguns and machetes. Ester’s favored training method was to teach him how to do something, and then send him into an hostile illusion where he would have to do the thing to not die.

He earned the nickname Override during his training.

Eventually he graduated from Ester and was promoted to the rank of Agent Hunter. Basically this means doing all grunt work for the Guarding Shadows with a partner Agent, while the Lord Hunters take all the credit. He was sent to what we would call Saskatchewan (in this timeline, Europeon colonialism never took off because of Obelisk’s interference) and met his assigned partner, Sasha the Mindseer.

Quick rundown on Sasha because she will be getting her own post later. Sasha was born to the Blackfoot in what we would call Saskatchewan. She was blinded in an accident and while recovering in hospital her telepathic powers activated. She started using them as a form of psychic radar, to the point where she rejected cybernetic eyes in favor or her developed radar. She caught the eye of the Guarding Shadows and quickly climbed the ranks to Agent. She took up the name Sasha because it is easier for foreigners to pronounce (also it was only name I could come up with) and Mindseer is her nickname, because she trained her radar to extend up to 2 kilometers in diameter, seeing all in her range.

They bonded as partners and deep friends, although it never went beyond that because Sasha is aroace. Their duties is mostly investigating potential demon activity in the city they are meant to guard, advising both police and super hero teams in how to fight demons and doing all the paper work for the Lord Hunters.

It was a good system that went on for 10 years. And then tragedy struck. A Demon Lord invaded the city they were meant to guard. Sasha was stuck doing coordination and civilian evac, but Erik got stuck on the front-lines. Erik encountered the demon lord, and in a panic, dumped every scrap of power into trying to kill it. It actually worked, Erik was able to control the demon for half a second, long enough to turn an attack back at the demon to make it kill itself.

The effort of the struggle caused Erik’s brain to fry and he was rendered comatose for 10 years. Initially it was thought he would never wake up, with his friends and family moving on after mourning. His body was experimented upon by the Guarding Shadows (his will did say he wanted to be donated to science after death, and he was legally dead) and one experiment brought him back. No one is entirely sure how.

The trauma of the battle, of being basically dead and the fact that coming back put his powers on the fritz, he retired as a demon hunter and trained in psychiatry, his powers slowly returning to him. Few people learned of him coming back, mostly Guarding Shadow higher ups, Sasha, Ester 

Moving back to Germany with a new identity, he opened a mental health clinic. Open to all, but specializing in active/retried superheroes as well as reforming villains.
