P5 Swap au | Phantom Thief costumes/weapons (ideas)

My original idea for the costumes would be to just switch their colours. Ren have Goro's colour scheme, Goro has Ren’s colour scheme etc.

But... as interesting as that could be- I kinda wanna do something different... Not just switch the costumes.

Most the ideas will stay the same (also reminder of who the phantom thieves swap around with-)

Costumes

Ann and Yusuke swap Ann’s costume will most likely be skin tight leather still, and will stay red. might add a jacket? Defiantly not as sexual (her tits will NOT be showing.) Yusuke’s costume I don’t have many ideas on. So that’ll turn out however.

Ruyji and Makoto swap Ruyji and Makoto swapping means not much would need to change (both the two have a stereotypical “rebel” look) though I will be giving Ruyji some spiky shoulder pads- Queen’s getting a jacket.

Futaba and Haru swap These two are probably gonna be the hardest to swap... One’s costume is high tech the other more old fashioned. And this would make Haru the support and Futaba a fighter. Futaba’s costume... Could be fun. And giving her weapons- Since Haru’s costume is mostly masculine (that kinda being the theme to her costume), I’d have to make Futaba’s costume masculine. I’ll figure something out soon. Haru’s costume... might not to be too difficult. Removing the part of it being masculine will be... annoying to say the least. (it being masculine is because of her story, seeing a girl being ‘manly’ as rebellion. Her story is now Futaba’s. So it changes...) ... though a Haru palace is what I’m more interested in-

Goro and Ren swap Goro’s costume would have to change to fit a “thief” more. Could darken the colours a little (just thinking of the dark grey and dark red makes me want to do this) as for the black mask costume, I have an idea. Ren’s costume- Colour wise this might be hard, and turning it into something that looks more “heroic” and less “criminal” is going to be a pain- But I think if I mess around with it long enough something good will come out.

They’ll all keep their masks and code names (example: Ruyji will still have a skull mask and code name be “skull”)

Weapons

Weapons though... I fell like Goro should keep the laser sword/gun

(is this a spoiler? It’s after the last palace and defeating the last boss... Though it’s just a piece of dialogue you can pick...?)

just because of the choice to make Ren say “it’s a game” or something like that. If Goro saw it as a game from the start, it could be a reason for having such unrealistic weapons.

Police men usually have pistols right? so Ren having one fits. As for the knife, which according to what I’m looking at is called the Assassins Knife, which is fitting since he IS in the place of Akechi

Ruyji has the metal rod and from what I get he uses some sought of assault rifle? So Makoto would have these items instead. Like mentioned before, the stereotypical rebel look the both have makes it so these fit well-

Ann would have a sword. This is good. much powerful vibes. Not to much of a difference in guns-

Yusuke with a whip- this is good- he’d also have a Machine Gun- but back to Yusuke with a whip-

Ruyji would have Brass Knuckle‘s. This is great. v v great. Guns a lot difference, he’ll have a Revolver, but the brass knuckles-

No weapons for Haru ;-;

Futaba gets an Axe. thats all the matters. Someone will be getting chopped-

(also, I know I haven’t mentioned Morgana and who’s he switched with. I have swapped him with someone, but haven't said who. Since it’s not set in stone. Though It’ll probably not change)

Edit: personas will be the same. (Ren will have Arsene, Goro will have Robin hood etc) BUT their designs might change a little. Arsene fits the thief theme to well, so maybe a few colour changes would help with that.

Persona IDEA

I love making AU where me and my friends are the characters. But sadly... my friends don’t know what persona is. so...

I was wondering if anyone (ANYONE) would like to do one?

there will be a Persona 3, 4 and 5! You can pick one character from each!

Under the cut are the characters (major and minor)

This will be updated frequently.

And please, don’t just pick a character you like. Pick one who’s personality fits yours! (I've already picked who I’ll be out by using this rule.)

When you get a character, it would be helpful to draw a reference when ever you can. You don’t have to be a good artist, but it’s just helpful incase someone (me-) wants to draw something! (please, if you draw traditionally, create a colour pallet on paint or something. I hate having to guess what shade of blue you mean by “the hair is blue”)

Edit: forgot to say how to ask to be a character. Just comment, reblog or message me along with a tiny explanation what you fit that character.
