I really liked Billie in the first five episodes of season 8. She was cool, fun and badass, and it was nice to see someone so excited about magic. However, the storyline with Christy pretty much ruined her as a character. First she became obsessed with finding her sister, and then she let herself get totally manipulated by her. She completely lost the fun personality she had at the beginning, I didn't like that.

What are your thoughts about Harvey and Marcus' relationship?
Huh… It’s a little bit of a tricky subject, because all the information we have about Harvey’s and Marcus’s childhoods is from Harvey’s (very biased) perspective, but from what we’ve heard and what we’ve seen for ourselves, I am…not inclined especially favorably toward Marcus on this one.
So, first of all, we have it on Harvey’s authority that Marcus took Lily’s side during the whole infidelity incident, and I’m inclined to believe that’s true based on Marcus’s and Lily’s close familial relationship in the present. I personally am more inclined to blame Lily for her actions—cheating in the first place, gaslighting Harvey about what he’d seen, manipulating him into lying to cover for her, et cetera—and I have a hard time understanding how Marcus, you know, didn’t, but it is what it is. I have to assume therefore that where Harvey has what seems to be a fairly reverential view of their father, Marcus has a similar view of their mother; when he became aware of Lily’s affair, he may well have blamed Gordon for driving her to it or some such thing, in order to protect what he perceived to be her faultless image. We know Harvey claims that Marcus blames him for their parents’ divorce; maybe Marcus is of the mind that if Harvey hadn’t uncovered the affair, it would have ended as a non-event (which is, wow, some kind of powerful self-delusion).
I suppose the point of this is that I can’t imagine Harvey and Marcus were particularly close as children, or at least as teenagers. We know that Harvey was aware the first time Marcus needed chemotherapy, so they must have been in touch as adults, but we also know that their relationship was strained, as evidenced by their conversation about Harvey loaning Marcus the money to start his restaurant (”Not Just a Pretty Face” s04e16). Although Harvey claims to give him the money so he won’t go to Bobby instead, this whole exchange comes off as some kind of guilt trip, as though Marcus is manipulating Harvey into giving him the loan to protect… Well, their father, it seems, but also maybe their mother? It’s not especially clear, but Marcus is banking on Harvey’s devotion to his family to get him out of a pinch. Because somehow Marcus’s gambling problem is Harvey’s fault (”Marcus has a gambling problem. And I gave it to him” s04e16). Overall it seems to me that Marcus has no real disinclination to use Harvey for his own means, taking advantage of the guilt Harvey feels about Lily cheating on Gordon (and possibly also Marcus being a gambling addict, however that’s supposed to work), which is pretty terrible of him. And not so great for Harvey’s emotional well-being.
We don’t get much information about their interaction in the intervening years between “Not Just a Pretty Face” and the present, except that during the flashback in “Faith” (s05e10), Marcus seems to think there’s no bad blood between them whereas Harvey is snappish and preoccupied with his plan to tell Gordon about Lily’s affair, so I guess maybe they made up at some point. Certainly before “The Painting” (s06e12), when Marcus seems quite pleased to see Harvey show up at his restaurant and invites him to stay at his home. But…then we learn that Marcus didn’t tell Harvey he got sick again, so maybe they’re not so close after all. Actually what this series of conversations indicates to me is that Harvey would like to have a close relationship with his brother, and Marcus is content to treat Harvey as though they do, but anytime some conflict arises, such as when Bobby told Harvey the family functions better without him, Marcus has no reservations about throwing Harvey right under the bus to suit himself. (I.e., it serves him better to be on Bobby’s good side than Harvey’s, as Bobby is helping support him and Katie and care for their children.)
Then there’s “Good Mudding” (s08e05). Uh. Marcus…lies to Harvey about having started gambling again, by “confessing” that he cheated on his wife, so that he doesn’t have to admit that he asked his daughter to lie about him having started gambling again. That is… That is awful behavior. That is cruel and manipulative and dishonest and really, really awful. Especially being that he’s doing it all while asking Harvey to be his lawyer as he seeks shared custody of his children (i.e., using Harvey to his advantage). And Harvey is rightfully angry while this is all going down, but the fact that he ends the episode by telling Katie that “when it comes to family, forgiveness is a hell of a lot better than anger” is…so sad. Marcus treats Harvey like shit, and Harvey lets himself be guilted into falling for it every single time because family is more important than anything, no matter what, just because.
All in all, then, I’d have to say their relationship is not a particularly healthy one.

I can't buy the fact that Dex handled the whole Phoebe being a witch so easily, he didn't react as most usually would. They weren't even together very long either. I didn't ship them or anything but I find it strange how he reacted calmly against the situation. What was actually realistic was Jason's reaction when he found out that Phoebe was a witch, they were together longer and had a strong bond, lots of history etc. Dex and Phoebe barely had any history at all.

It was cute how Billie and Agent Murphy met. Especially when Billie acted like she didn't know what he was talking about and he said "Cute." and he was like, "It wasn't a compliment."
