Round One - Wave Four

Information about these Sallys: Sally McAcorn is another AU version of Sally that Sonic met while hopping between dimensions. She is a lawyer and a parody of a character from an American show called Ally McBeal. It's a shame this didn't happen later on, because a Phoenix Wright version of Sally would've been much funnier Cursed Snowglobe is yet another piece of merch I stumbled across while looking for stuff to include in this bracket. I was immediately hypnotised by it, as we watch our heroes perform a ritual dance to sacrifice Robotnik into the dirty water. This thing fills me with fear. It is glorious. I think it could win the whole tournament

I can never decide which sally design I like best, so I decided...why not have them all!

Prime/Mainline Sally - This is the definitive Sally, taking inspiration from both her pre & post genesis wave designs. I can't decide which hairstyle I prefer tho 1. the classic swoop bang or 2. mohawk.

Anti Sally/Alicia Acorn - Pink sally is the perfect design for anti sally, as the dark hair and pink fur give her a much more serious and girly look compared to Prime Sally. I also had her outfitted in purple as a reference to the sally doppelganger that appeared in the princess sally mini series.

Boom Sally - Blonde sally would fit right in with the Boom universe, she has such beachy vibes. I styled her from some satam concept art and repurposed an outfit she wore in the comics. Honestly one of my favourite designs.

Classic Sally - Since the classic era has become a whole separate dimension in the games, it only seemed right to design a sally that could fit in with the chibi style of the classic characters. Heavily inspired by her design in the fleetway comics. Probably the most feminine of all the sally's.

Zally Zacorn - The No Zone from the archie comics is honestly so cool and unexplored, so I thought why not design one final sally. This variant has a muted color palette as she is rather ordinary compared to the other sally's. I again based her off a pre-existing character from the comics, Sally McAcorn - who was a lawyer, I felt that fit perfectly into the dimension of the No Zone.

I don't know why, but as the final arc of the Unleashed saga, it's still the one I remember the least. My guess is that I'm just tired of it by this point, do you agree? As for a no-related question, what's with the Sally McAcorn love lately?

It coulda been so late that it just kinda went under the radar? It's the opposite because I remember it so well because it was the last completed arc (not counting the Sonic Universe one) before the comic's cancellation. 😅

As for the sudden attention for Sally McAcorn, I believe there had been a popular trend of artists drawing her in their style and that's just awesome. Plus female characters in suits are a rarity these days so I ain't complaining!

Really thought she was a cool cute character, who could’ve been drawn better then the way she was

Was an alternate version of Princess Sally Acorn from the Litigopolis Zone. She was Sonics defense attorney against Johnny Snively when he was in brought from Mobius Prime to stand trial before the J.U.D.G.E. for a crime Evil Sonic committed.

She is also parody of the character Ally McBeal from the television show of the same name. Coincidentally, mainstream Sally uses the alias of "Aly" in the romance column of the Knothole News to help others with their love problems.

I have an odd question. If you had the sims 4 and were making Sally in it. What occupation would you give them?

In my defense, I’m super late on this one because I don’t play Sims. I had set this ask aside to consult with @fini-mun on the available options, aaand then I just never got back around to this, so that’s still super my bad.

In any case, the conversation went like this, as copied directly from Discord:

Sally-mun: i got an ask that i'm not equipped to answer and i need your help Fini-mun: *leans on elbows* Sally-mun: i was asked, if i were to make Sally in the Sims 4, what would her occupation be? Fini-mun: well Sims 4 just introduced the law career *sips dumbass juice* Sally-mun: I AM NOT MAKING SALLY McACORN

So following that completely unhelpful suggestion I went over the list of available careers, and determined that computer engineer, freelance programmer, politician, secret agent, or tech guru were probably within the realm of possibility. Honestly it sucks to have to pick only one, because I feel like if all of those could work together then it’d basically be spot-on for her. Narrowing it down to just one, though, I think freelance programmer might be the best? It’s hard to know for sure since, as I said, I don’t play Sims myself, so I haven’t seen how these play out in-game. That’s my best guess, though!
