If speaking for decolonisation of Hindu temples in India and Hindu cultural renaissance, as well as the welfare of the Jews as they face anti-semitism in every other post I see, is fascist and zionist to you, block me. If the revival of Ram mandir is a matter of mourning and shame because the Babri was deconstructed in the process as it did not have any right to stand there by demolishing the place of worship of the Hindus, do not ever contact me again. I'm not the person you're gonna like and imma tell you one more thing - I have no more fucks to give. You take our land, you give it back. The janmabhoomi cannot be shifted but the mosque could and it has, my dude. So will the Gyanvapi and Shahi Eidgah of Kashi and Mathura respectively, because they were seized from us. Because they belong to our Shiva and Keshava and nobody has the right to tell us otherwise. If speaking against Mughal holocausts and genocides against Hindus offends you in any way and leads you into believing that I'm spreading communal hatred because you have by far assumed that I'm Islamophobic, and that Hinduphobia does not exist in and outside India, go no contact with me. Yeah that's it for now. I might edit this post later as I remember more pseudo-liberal agenda and protests against the Rama temple despite the supreme court favouring it in all ways. Despite all these evidences many of you say that it could have been a hospital or school because hey, we can trash on Hinduism all we like. The place isn't anything else because Parasaran sir said - "Once a temple, always a temple." Suggest all those things for the land granted for the other place of worship, if you dare. Wouldn't say that it's genius or even remotely decent either but do go ahead, y'all like to teach us stuff more than anything else. All this Hinduphobia I see here, fills me with more adrenaline to sprinkle salt on your cuts and burns. Have a good time my lovelies.

Why only our dharma is constantly questioned? Why only us after being the oldest have to still provide those who don't believe in with proofs of our culture our HISTORY?
And even after many proofs why do they still say that our gods are a myth?
Why a dharma, the ONLY dharma that has not one but many ancient scriptures said to be illogical?
Why the Dharma that has scriptures like Bhagvad-Gita, 4 vedas, over two hundred Upanishads, a lot of puranas and many more that has answers and to all the questions that one must have and cover everything with reasons, logic and science still questioned and said to be illogical or 'andhvishwas' ?
Why?
Remember people it's not a religion it's what life is about. It's not backwards, it's the most liberal, scientific dharma.
SANATAN IS NOT JUST A DHARMA, IT'S THE WAY OF LIFE.

To write, read and explain sanātana dharmā is my greatest happiness, though I haven’t shared much here on Tumblr.
However, Vishnu and Shivā work in mysterious ways, and thus, I am finally here on the Sanatana side of things, to interpret as I am blessed by the very Divinity I worship with and as my own heart.
Salutation to Gajanana, the remover of obstacles, the support of His devotees, and the One praised for His Knowledge and Wisdom.
Salutation unto HariHara, the primordial form of the Divine Hari and Hara, of Their Oneness and equality, who is the sole inspiration of my life and my Universe multiplied infinite times.
Salutation to HariHara Patni, SriUma, as I see Her, whose very presence in His heart tells me of stories that play the very ancient games of Leela.
Salutations to Vaani, the Goddess who is my inspiration, who blesses me with words and purpose, who is as dear to me as ever.
Salutations to Brahma, the Creator, the foremost father of all the Devtas and indeed all the worlds, the friend of HariHara and the husband of Medha.
Salutations to Skanda, the God of war, but much more, the Tamizh Kadavul, the Compassion of the world, who ever protects His devotees.
Salutations to Hanuman, for whom there are no words, but who is the dearest to the heart.
Salutations to the Devas and Devis of Svarga and every Loka, for are you not the supporters too of the Universe, and representatives of the Trideva and Tridevi?

excerpt from an audio-translation I worked on with a colleague of mine; we translated Draupadī's imposing speech as rendered in modern Mahābhārat retellings. Draupadī utters this speech after she is dragged to the royal hall by her hair, and is assaulted & sexually harassed by the men of the Kuru dynasty. she renounces her status as a wife; in the Sanskrit Mbh, symbolically, by refusing to tie her hair again, while in modern renderings, explicitly, by directly renouncing her husbands who passively watched her humiliation.
in this sequence, Draupadī curses the Kurus. the curse bears similarities across the Sanskrit & modern tellings; that just as she bled in the sabhā (royal court / hall), so will all the men bleed on the battlefield, and just as she wept with her hair untied, so will their women cry before their corpses with their hair dishevelled (tied hair was the marking of a wife / bride, untied hair, of a widow).
photo: Pooja Sharma as Draupadī. Pooja is my Draupadī.

The fact that I got to witness five hundred years' worth of oppression, humiliation, struggle and agony come to an end in a blaze of glory will never cease to awe me. The people who had sacrificed their lives for the mandir can finally rest in peace now.
Jai Shree Ram! 🪔🪔🪔

Faith is so difficult for me. I’ve been in many religions even though I’m only 21. I keep feeling this belonging back to Islam, as well with Hinduism, or even Gnosticism.
Then I am like, no, being a Eclectic Pagan is my truth path. Mainly because I will always feel like an outcast regardless of my faith. I believe all religions have some sort of truth to them, ie Omnism.
It’s hard because I feel as though I’m the only one who can’t find the faith I truly belong too. The one I’m meant to belong too.

ODE TO MURALIDHAR (KRSNA)
O Divine Flute-Player:
How You attract souls towards You
With Your alluring melodies
Is beyond comprehension.
You melt all in the crucible of Divine Beauty
And Love Profound!
Sweet Muralidhar,
Let all your bhaktas taste
The sweetness of Your Sacred nectar,
Savored through the remembrance of Your Holy Name!
Love Divine, Sweet Love!
Come, play the Tune of Bliss
In the flute of our Spine!
Our Souls shall then sing,
Your ambrosial melodies.
Let the Wind of Your Divine Breath
Ascend and Descend through us!
Then shall the song of Divine Praise resound
Through us, Your intoxicated lovers!

"Dear to his compassionate heart were the lowliest of the low, the disinherited and the dispossessed, the untouchables and the outcasts. Of all the creatures in the world, he chose a shabby old bull — Nandi as his constant companion. And because the whole world runs away from snakes, he garlanded them round his neck.
He is the great Giver who gives and gives and ever gives out of his inexhaustible abundance. He gives alike to the rich and the poor, the young and the old, the good and the bad. He is like the sun that shines on all, denying to none its life-giving warmth and light."

Hari- the Eternal Source
śaṃkara uvāca | trayī sāṃkhyavedāṃtayogāḥ purāṇaṃ tathā pañcarātraṃ prabho dharmaśāstram | tavaivātimāhātmyamekasya nityaṃ prakārairanekairhi gāyaṃti bhaktyā || 3 ||
tvadeveśa śāstrāṇi caitāni bhūmno babhūvustvadekāśrayāṇyādikalpe | ramāsevyapādāmbujaṃ śāstrayoniṃ tamādyaṃ bhavantaṃ bhaje vāsudevam || 4 ||
Śaṅkara said:
3. O Lord! The Three Vedas, Sāṅkhya, Vedānta, Yoga, Purāṇa, Pāñcarātra as well as Dharmaśāstra—all these devoutly sing in various ways the supreme majestic glory of yours alone.
4. In the first Kalpa (Ādi-Kalpa), it is from you, the great one, alone that these Śāstras were born and they have you as their only resort, O Sovereign Lord. I betake myself to you and worship you, the Primordial One whose lotus-feet are served by Ramā, who are the source of the origin of Śāstras.
(Taken from Wisdom Library )
This is a small portion of Chapter 15 of Vaasudeva Mahatmya from Skanda Purana. The essence of these verses is to talk of how Vishnu is every little and every big thing in this Universe.
There is a constant struggle about whether the Puranas are right or not, through things I have read, that contradict with what I have learned as a child, which clash with some beliefs even- and it is actually very true that they have been interpolated heavily, over the years.
That is why, the first basis of reference and understanding comes from Itihaasa- that which has happened. There are two Itihaasas or epics in Sanatana Dharma, Valmiki Ramayana and Mahabharata. Of course, Harivamsa is included in this list, as it is a khila of the Mahabharata itself.
It sounds a bit crazy when I speak of how Itihaasas come first and yet I posted something from a Purana, does it not? Well, the reason for it is to remind people that Shastras originated from the ParaBrahman- be they Vedas, Upanishads, Itihaasas, Puranas and various other works. And every form of ParaBrahman are the origin of such, based on how one's own Ishta/Aaradhya.
Many months ago, I had asked if I should post something on Sanatana, and finally, I got the time to start. As always, I wondered where to start, and this specific tab was open. Hari, as always, gave me an indication.
I will be much more consistent with posting henceforth, so expect interpretations, rants, aesthetics, story snippets and so on to be shared.

The trailer of Adipurush seems a little (just a little) better than that clownery of a teaser that they released. But,
The frames are soo dark! Idk why, they say that they've spent 700 crores on this but it doesn't feel like that one bit. I don't feel the magic. I've always felt so connected with Hanumanji but I don't feel that connect here. I just don't feel connected to this movie whatsoever. The background score is good (Thanks to Ajay-Atul) but again, that's the bare minimum you can expect from what they call a 'magnum-opus production'.
Our epics deserve better representation.
