I went to the local knitting guild's meeting yesterday, and was encouraged to bring a project to work on (since everyone besides the officers running the meeting will knit through the whole meeting), and I ended up getting nearly 20 more rows on my sock! Enough that the yarn coming from the ball is noticeably lighter, even if it hasn't shown up in the actual knitting yet.

been crocheting so much lately that i'm considering digging out my wrist braces.

finished that blanket i posted about, been working on a scrapghan in the same pattern, chugging along... this morning i started up and my wrists were immediately sore

so naturally i dug out the king size knit scrapghan i started forever ago lmao at least i know if i do have to track down the braces for my wrists with size 15us needles (circulars baybeee) i can probably keep working

#i don't know how to take a break when my body and brain are determined to be hyperfocused #found a three or four strand crochet scrapghan that's also king size in the box #...there's a lot of projects my ex started and then abandoned partway through it's fucking wild

was all excited because i finished the main body of the scrapghan and then i laid it out to take pictures and realized i fucked up the decrease twelve rows back and there's a weird nubbin on one side jsdkjsjn well!!! even so it is Finished and i will simply do a little work before starting on the border to try and disguise the fucked up corner

The yarn I need for @eaudecrow’s commission is taking an ungodly amount of time to ship (I had to order it directly from Premier because the colors I needed weren’t at the store), so in the meantime I’m trying to finish all the full motifs for my scrapghan. I can’t provide pictures because I’m gifting it to someone who might see the pieces, but I’m still working on it! Just to give everyone a heads-up so that it doesn’t end up looking like I’m inactive or slacking off. :P
