I have a question about Mami’s design from PMMM
Is it just me or does her magical girl outfit have a lot of vibes of fur traders from the 1800s? (or really anyone from around that time.) Plus we already have know that her weapon is a musket, which is something that was commonly used in that era. (I think.)
Idk if that’s symbolic or is it just for aesthetics, if anyone have any theories or such please spill ur beans.

Homura stared at Kyoko with a look that practically screamed, “You are crazy” as she watched the redhead beat the water with her shovel. A shovel. “What are you doing?”
“Splitting the water in half,” Kyoko replied as if was the most obvious thing in the world, all without taking her eyes off the water as she continued hammering the shovel into the water. The weird look Homura was giving her only intensified. “But you can’t do that? It’s impossible,” Mami chimed in, staring at Kyoko with the same look as Homura, except it was more of confusion and disbelief than anything else. “It is possible! Jesus did it!” Kyoko exclaimed, her voice rising with excitement, still deathly fixated on her “mission”.
Mami blinked. What was the matter with Kyoko? Had the monsters finally gotten to her head? “But you’re not Jesus,” she said, shaking her head in confusion. Kyoko let out a disbelieving scoff. “Damn right I am! I’m his reincarnation!”
Homura sighed and smacked her head- no, her visor. “Moses did it, not Jesus. And you’re not either of them.”
Once again, Kyoko let out a scoff. She didn’t say anything however, so Homura decided to continue, “And firstly, Moses split the water in half with a staff. Not an…ugly, rusty shovel like that,” she spat out. Kyoko huffed. “Okay fine! How’s this then?” the redhead turned over her shovel and had the handle facing the water before she slammed it down into the water.
BOOM!
It…began to rain. And there was thunder too. Homura and Mami stared up at the sky in disbelief whereas Kyoko let out a victorious laugh. “I guess I was mistaken. I’m not Jesus or Moses, I’m Zeus!” she exclaimed, and everyone could feel the rising air of triumph. “I’m Sakura Kyoko, the goddess of the thunderbolt!”
BOOM!
And just like that, a thunderbolt struck Kyoko. She practically fell straight into the water afterward.
…Wonderful.
Homura let out a sigh of exasperation. "Well, that's one casualty," she said, annoyed, and turned to Mami. "So, who’s going to carry her body?"

So, did everyone remember that one post of mine where I said I should try writing plotless stuff? Well here it is! Stupid, pointless, plotless nonsense! I came up with this yesterday, at 12 midnight in case anyone’s wondering. I came up with something similar at 3 am too so if I post it and anyone complains, my excuse is that I didn’t get enough sleep LOL It’s presently 12 midnight here too! (Another episode of a messed up sleep schedule LOL)
Anyway, this is sorta a crossover between Lethal Company and PMMM. So, stupid nonsense ensues. Perfect comedy~
And again, I have a stupid sense of humor. Forgive me for this.
Also, I swear I’ll post a proper fic soon, I’m already working on something! Anyway, enjoy this piece of nonsense meanwhile.

you know what i dont even care this show catered directly to me in a very specific way. like there's so much value in shows like bad buddy where there is no homophobia at all and you get to experience that safety among metaphors, and ofc there's plenty of value in shows WITH homophobia too, its just ive seen enough of them for me to be tired.
but god. THIS SHOW? with its direct criticism of society and outdated beliefs and oppressive systems, it's messages about individuality tied to messages of society as a whole. the calling out of the way these systems are built on heteronormativity. the gray area between what's right and wrong like. holy shit yes can i get more shows abt the fight? and to have it also be so happy and hopeful and genuine too and not constantly putting its foot down. like idk if im even saying it right but im so impressed this show got to say everything it did. (even within not me's political radicalness, the individual characters didn't actually deal with homophobia itself in their storylines.) so like yes thank you i'll take 20 more of these gay bitches lets go.

PMMM au where everything is the same but everybody’s roles are switched. Same personalities, same-ish weaponry, similar designs.
Madoka is in Mami’s place.
Mami is in Kyoko’s place.
Kyoko is in Homura’s place.
Homura is in Sayaka’s place.
Sayaka is in Madoka’s place.
Which means….
Kyoko takes the brunt of both his own trauma of the Sakura family death AND Homura’s trauma of watching Madoka—or in this case—Sayaka die.
