Even though Skybranch leaves for Skyclan in the end, I wanna improve the relationship she has with her foster soblings/foster mom and dad.
Snowbush is The Dad. He loves his kids loads and would do anything for them, he extends that to Twigkit. He is devesated seeing her leave but he knows Thunderclan fucked up with separating the 2. He always asks her how she's doing at Gatherings. How is Violetshine? Are you eating enough? Is your den comfortable? What's it like in the camp, is it safe? Are you alright? Any celebrations lately? Do you miss us?
Lilyheart is an amazing mom, she loves playing with her children, and treats them all equal. She also took classes in history, which she tries to teach them as much as she can, though Twigkit already has a special interest in cooking. It also devastates Lilyheart when Skybranch leaves, and she fussed over her before she goes. She would be the mom that asks you to call her loads when you move away. She learned to make Skybranch's favorite food for her at Gatherings. She cries over her at night, she misses her so much.
Honeyfur is the first born, the big sibling. She looks like the grandpa she never got to meet, build wise. She wants Twigkit to feel welcome, but also is a bit of a friendly rival. Loud and boisterous and a bit much for Twigkit, who would rather hang out at the cook-pot. Later in life, the 2 child/mate free girlies love hanging out at Gatherings and After Gathers. Honeyfur is also a gossip QUEEN who would talk Skybranch's ears off if she could.
Larksong thinks Skybranch is ABSOLUTELY part of the Prophecy. He thinks she'll have a power, like the Star-Blessed 4. They just have to 'unlock' it. Many bumps and bruises ensue. These two are gonna give Alderpaw and Sparkpaw a stroke. Thankfully for Twigpaw, it stops after they enter apprenticeship, with Rosepetal keeping Larkpaw very busy. They relatively keep in touch, until Larksong's passing. Skybranch wishes she had been in Thunderclan just a little bit longer, then, or at least been there for Sparkpelt.
Shadeleaf (Leafshade renamed because Leafpool isn't dead) is... Her least favorite. Shadeleaf is rude to her, very possessive over her parents, and has that good old Clan Xenophobia. Shadeleaf is the type of person who "tells it like it is" only their version of honesty is "How much can I insult you and get away with it?" Snowbush and Lilyheart love their children, but Shadeleaf needs a firm hand that she won't be getting any time soon until A Starless Clan. Skybranch and Shadeleaf don't hang out at all afterwards. Skybranch feels no need to be around a cat that made her feel like an outsider when she didn't even want to be there in the first place.

What is your character’s most important possession? Why?
Sly has her tail ring from Arboria stashed in a hand carved wooden box under her bed. She stopped wearing the tail ring once joining the Exiles and Boss Mesa's crew.
When it's her birthday or a special day related to the Shadeleaf family, or when she's feeling sentimental, Sly will take it out and just stroke the carvings on it or stare at it.
She never wears it anymore as it has her birth name carved into it and can be obviously used to identify her. Sly doesn't want her current persona associated with who she was on Arboria.

Hearthstone Patch Notes 28.2.3: Exciting Updates for Standard and Battlegrounds
Hearthstone's latest update, Patch 28.2.3, is a data-focused release, set to go live today, bringing significant changes to both Standard play and Battlegrounds. As the last scheduled patch for the year, our goal is to create an enjoyable and festive gaming experience for the holiday break. Join us in the Tavern and usher in the new year with these exciting updates!
Hearthstone Patch Notes 28.2.3 Standard Updates:
Developer Commentary: The primary objectives of this patch are to enhance underperforming classes, decks, and cards, particularly those from Showdown in the Badlands, while also tempering a few overperforming decks that have been dominating the meta. Our intention is not to eliminate beloved decks but rather to bring them into balance, creating more diversity within the meta.

Class Adjustments:
- Paladin: Identified as a major overperformer, Paladin is receiving adjustments to its AoE board clears. We aim to provide access to this mechanic without allowing the class to excel disproportionately. Other potential targets were considered, aligning with the desired strengths of the class.
- Dragon Druid: Noted for its strong matchup spread, Dragon Druid is having a slight power reduction to make it more vulnerable in the early game while preserving its general patterns and excitement among players.
- Doctor Holli’Dae: Acknowledged as one of the best cards in Standard, we are making a careful adjustment by reducing one attack from the weapon, balancing its overall power while preserving the unique charm of the card - frogs.
- Rainbow Mage: This popular deck is receiving adjustments to bring it in line with other decks in this patch. The changes make it slightly less effective in cluttering the early board during its gameplan development.

Players can disenchant the cards mentioned above, including non-Diamond Doctor Holli’Dae, for full dust refunds for at least three weeks following Patch 28.2.3. Diamond Doctor Holli’Dae owners will keep the card and receive a grant of 1600 Arcane Dust during the login later this week. We are also exploring systemic changes for Diamond cards affected by balance adjustments, with potential variations in the future.
Temporarily Banned: Pyrotechnician: This card is temporarily banned due to ongoing refinement of problematic Druid decks, particularly the emerging Fire Druid. Quick action is taken to assess and address the situation in the next balance window.

- Old: Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, summon 4/4 copies of 4 random minions in your deck.

Developer Commentary: Priest, struggling to find its place in the Badlands, receives adjustments to several cards, including three Legendary minions. The goal is to enhance new archetypes without solely buffing Control Priest, which currently hangs on a delicate balance. Ra-den, although not directly tied to Showdown in the Badlands archetypes, receives a boost to make it a more compelling card.

- Old: Battlecry: Get 4 random spells. If you’ve Excavated 8 times, they cost (0).

Developer Commentary: Rogue, facing challenges with the new Excavate and Burgle cards, sees adjustments to the archetype. - Corpse Bride:
- Old: Battlecry: Spend up to 10 Corpses. Summon a Risen Groom with stats equal to the amount spent.
- New: Battlecry: Spend up to 10 Corpses to summon a Risen Groom with Taunt and that much Attack and Health.
Developer Commentary: Maw and Paw receive a strength boost to make the card more impactful, particularly in its sticky minion aspect. Climactic Necrotic Explosion sees adjustments to enhance its Rainbow payoff, and Corpse Bride becomes a more exciting and secure big Corpse spender.

Developer Commentary: Khaz’goroth, considered one of the weaker Titans, receives a power boost to better fit its decks without pushing into more aggressive Warrior builds. Slagmaw, currently weak, has its dormancy reduced to 6 turns, providing a quicker activation.

Minor character things in WCR because I love thinking about them (not the unnamed cats, like.... Snaptooth, Silverhawk, Bellaleaf, Sneezecloud... etc)
Version 1.1: Switched things up with Bayshine and Myrtlebloom. They're Sorrelstripe's kits, who called Queen's Rights for them.
Snaptooth, Spotfur and Flywhisker are no longer the children of Cinderheart and Lionblaze. They are kits of Stormcloud and Cherryfall. Flywhisker's mentor is Sparkpelt, Spotfur's mentor is Shadeleaf (Renamed Leafshade) and Snaptooth's mentor is Birchfall.
Silverhawk saw his son in Breezepelt, and trained him personally. He saw his son during the Great Battle, and immediately stopped fighting. He was so filled with shame, he hardly wanted to be there in the first place, he turned tail and ran. Ashfur promised him that he could see his son and Emberdawn again, he went along with it. He is now a heavy advocate for reforming the Dark Forest to be rehabilitation for damned souls.
Bellaleaf is the daughter of Violet and Fuzz! She is Harrybrook's wife, and they had 3 kits. Fuzzkit, Hopkit, and Wrenkit. Unfortunately, Hopkit passed an hour later, Fuzzkit was stillborn, and Wrenkit had neurological issues. Bellaleaf is her daughter's biggest supporter other than Leafstar and Harrybrook himself.
Sneezecloud has allergies. Moss, pollen, dust, and catmint. This guy's got it rough. While he isn't ever on cooking duty, his artistic and creative sense due to his unique nesting situation has him gunning for the Head Construction position.
Lilywhisker was in the Dark Forest once for a grand total of 5 hours after getting lost while exploring. She was also made into a warrior again when Tallstar came into power.
Stonepelt was honoured when Bluemoon named one of her children after him. He played it super cool until he went into the elder's den and SOBBED.
Sasha, who actually does stay with Riverclan, got to meet Tigerstar once more during the Great Battle. She announced her hatred for him, saying the only good thing he ever gave her was their kits. Part of her still felt attached to him, but that night, she buried it once and for all.
Barkface was in love with Tallstar, but he never said anything. He was also very determined to be a good Medicine Cat.

Pamina fell into the chair before the large, oversized, unwanted vanity and dropped her head into her hands.
Too much. The last month? Two months? Had been too much. The things that people had dared to say to her, or imply they could do to her? In another life, she would have cut them down. In another life, she would have shown them exactly why her flames were something to be feared. She found herself saying that a lot lately. In another life. Between trying to maintain the image she had set for herself over the last three years and keeping her composure, she was absolutely losing her mind. Wasn’t that the exact phrasing Riaevis had used to Nikklaus merely a night earlier? It’s driving her crazy.
Pamina pulled one of the oversized drawers on the vanity open and was met not with the velvet satchel it hid away, but the contents the satchel held. Multiple fel crystals glinted and gleamed at her in the dim lighting of the room, and the mere sight of them caused her to curse under her breath. Why did she still have them? It wasn’t the first time that she’d opened the very same drawer and seen them to the same reaction. It wasn’t even the second. *So why did she still have them?*
She knew exactly why. It wasn’t even a question. The further that Nikklaus stepped out of his shadows, the more that the spellslinger wanted to step into them and bury herself in that comfortable darkness. It was pathetic, the way that she boasted such newfound control and chided him for his lack thereof, when she couldn’t even bring herself to throw out an old vice.
She didn’t want to. That was the whole of it, wasn’t it? She didn’t want to. She didn’t want this.
Pamina snatched up two pieces of parchment from beneath the satchel. The first was already covered in writing, but the spellslinger scribbled something on each of the documents before dragging herself out of that chair with her satchel in tow. To punctuate whatever was written, she left two rings sitting on top of the parchment: the first was her signet ring for the house, and the second, her wedding band.
Wherever she ended up after that, she made sure it was a mystery. She left everything else in the room untouched, save for that second piece of parchment. Pamina had made a decision. Time would tell whether or not it was a good one.
