Name: Lucille Heos-Sharrin (Goes by Lucille Sharrin)

Age: 17

Colour/s: Purple

Story: We Might Be Sinners

Role: Protagonist

Personality: Outwardly aggressive, sarcastic, and mean. She is anxious and desperately seeking approval and confirmation that she isn’t inherently evil because of her family and social status as the princess of Heos. She’s angry at her parents (Baal and Tanya) for the neglect she’s received, and at her brother (Levi) for being the “favoured” child. Because she doesn’t think she has value as just another royal, she doesn’t value her life, and acts incredibly reckless.

Plot/Character development: She starts out cruel and reckless and insecure, but slowly gains the confidence she needs to find out what’s really going on in her family and convince her dad that helping create a democratic system and then stepping away from leadership is the best solution. She also has a romance with Ronnie Baker, but they conclude at the end of the story that splitting up is best for them both.

Min sharri maa khalaq

Wa min sharri ghaasiqin izaa waqab

Say [Prophet], “I seek refuge with the Lord of daybreak, against the harm in what He has created, the harm in the night when darkness gathers, the harm in witches when they blow on knots, the harm in the envied when he envies.”

How many times did you ask yourself: why did Allah create darkness and evilness? Why did he create something so distant from what He teaches us to be?

Surah Al-Falaq reminds us that Allah created everything for a reason, even what seems to be so distant from goodness, for we need to recognize the darkness in order to praise the light. So we pray Allah and ask Him to protect us everyday from what might hurt us.

Translation

The following three chapters should be recited once after each prayer..

Surah Al-Ikhlas - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say (O Muhammad (SAW)): "He is Allâh, (the) One.(1) Allâh the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks). (2) He begets not, nor was He begotten. (3) And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him." (4)

Surah Al-Falaq - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of the daybreak, (1) From the evil of what He has created; (2) And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away) (3) And from the evil of those who practice witchcraft when they blow in the knots, (4) And from the evil of the envier when he envies." (5)

Surah An-Nas - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of mankind, (1) The King of mankind (2) The Ilâh (God) of mankind, (3) From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allâh), (4) Who whispers in the breasts of mankind, (5) Of jinn and men." It is interesting that MPH uses the phrase Lords of the Dawn to describe the Initiates of the Secret Doctrine. This corresponds to an ayat or verse of the Qur'an (Chapter 113: Al-Falaq — The Dawn). The Qur'an says, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn". Rabb al-Falaq [Lord of the Dawn] is one of the names of God in the Islamic Tradition. The term refers to God, but also by extension to the members of the spiritual hierarchy, the Initiates and Adepts, the Mahatmas, and Masters of Wisdom. From the Sages, Saints, & Seers of ancient India and Egypt, to the Christian Mystics and Sufis, there is a golden thread of Gnostic wisdom that has been passed down from generation to generation since the dawn of human history. The Lords of the Dawn are the guardians of this eternal wisdom ~ those who remember.

Bismillaah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem Qul a’uudhu birabbil falaq Min sharri ma khalaq Wa min sharri ghaasiqin idhaa waqab Wa min sharrin naffaathaati fil ‘uqad Wa min sharri haasidin idhaa hasad

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn, from anything harmful in Creation, from the evil of darkness as it spreads, from the evil of knotted spells, from the evil of the envier when he envies.

Hello and welcome to the Sinverse

I’m Ted, and the Sinverse is the OC universe that I’ve been building since April. The Sinverse is a universe based around my interest in demonology, where a heaven and hell exist alongside an earth. Every character has a colour that reflects something about them. I have two stories set in this universe and here is a quick overview.

We Might Be Sinners

The more developed story that I’ve been working on the longest, We Might Be Sinners, centres a princess and heir to the throne in one of the seven countries in hell, Heos. A descendant of Lucifer, 17-year-old Lucille Heos-Sharrin is trying to change the system she was born to uphold in the revolution, while facing the generational trauma plaguing her family. Other important characters are:

King Baal Heos, Lucille’s father, who is desperately trying to change his country for the better

Tanya Sharrin, Lucille’s mother, who met Baal in the revolution as kids

Levi Heos-Sharrin, Lucille’s brother, who has to pick up the slack for her constant rebellion

Ronnie Baker, a lower class girl who was chosen to go to the Relsas Academy of Lucifer alongside many noble children and Lucille herself, who she might just fall for

Tabitha Flytrap, Ronnie’s best friend, who doesn’t trust Lucille

Coral Petunia, the leader of the Relsas Revolutionary faction against the monarchy in Heos, and an old friend of Baal and Tanya

Mamos Heos, Baal’s older brother, who doesn’t care for him at all

Asmara Heos, Baal’s much younger sister, who loves him very much

My Best Friend Is A Fallen Angel

Centring 16-year-old human Kelsey van Horn and almost-fallen angel Dusiel, MBFIAFA is a story that talks ultimately about healing from past trauma and corrupt political systems, through Kelsey finding out about the corruption in Heaven and its allies on earth. Kelsey and Dusiel have to fight against agents and leaders of Heaven for Dusiel’s survival, and against Kelsey’s past trauma and mental health issues. MBFIAFA is much less developed than WMBS and so has less to talk about in the way of worldbuilding and side chi characters. Other important characters include:

Gabriel, a powerful angel in Heaven who was once a human, and now seeks to heal from his past

Percival Price, a sadistic high up member of Heaven’s Will Initiate, and Heaven’s favourite errand boy, who has been put on the task of eliminating Dusiel

وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ

Allahumma aṣliḥ lī dīn il-ladhi huwa ‘iṣmatu amrī, wa aṣliḥ lī dunyaa-ya al-lati fīhā ma’āshī, wa aṣlih lī ākhirati al-lati fīhā ma’ādī, wa-ja’al il-ḥayāta ziyādatan lī fī kuli khayrin, wa-j’al il-mawta rāḥatan lī min kuli sharrin

The following three chapters should be recited once after each prayer..

Surah Al-Ikhlas - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say (O Muhammad (SAW)): "He is Allâh, (the) One.(1) Allâh the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks). (2) He begets not, nor was He begotten. (3) And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him." (4)

Surah Al-Falaq - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of the daybreak, (1) From the evil of what He has created; (2) And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away) (3) And from the evil of those who practice witchcraft when they blow in the knots, (4) And from the evil of the envier when he envies." (5)

Surah An-Nas - In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of mankind, (1) The King of mankind (2) The Ilâh (God) of mankind, (3) From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allâh), (4) Who whispers in the breasts of mankind, (5) Of jinn and men." (6)

Transliteration

bismillaahir-raḥmaanir-raḥeem

(1) qul huwa-llaahu aḥad (2) allaahuṣ-ṣamad (3) lam yalid wa lam yoolad (4) wa lam yakul-lahuۥ kufuwan aḥad

bismillaahir-raḥmaanir-raḥeem

(1) qul a‛oodhu birabbil-falaq (2) min sharri maa khalaq (3) wa min sharri ghaasiqin idhaa waqab (4) wa min sharrin-naffaathaati fil-‛uqad (5) wa min sharri ḥaasidin idhaa ḥasad

bismillaahir-raḥmaanir-raḥeem

(1) qul a‛oodh-u birabbin-naas (2) malikin-naas (3) ilaahin-naas (4) min sharril-waswaasil-khannaas (5) alladhee yuwaswisu fee ṣudoorin-naas (5) minal-jinnati wan-naas
