The backlash from The Piltover Times’ ‘Antarctic Research Team Leaves One Behind – On Purpose!’ had almost lost the RGA investors, and Mr. Silco had made it very clear that they were going to institute a fix to the problem before the entire agency crumbled.

What had initially been a clever idea from the publicity team to garner interest in their research and distract the people from looking too much into the initial expedition had backfired completely on them, and Silco had been explicit that no one was to tell Dr. Lane of why they were sending another scientist to ‘research’ and really, maintain, alongside her in the middle of buttfucking nowhere.
