@freezerbunny-sims2's post about Cassandra Goth's quotes from SimGolf (which I also dislike) reminds me that there was, technically, canon portrayals of how these SimLane Sims spoke.

Love that Bella seemed like your typical upbeat classy neighbor lady while Mortimer was a moody, gloomy dude, and Bob was the kind of people to call others 'sport'. And how they make fun of each others' homes is pretty funny considering they lived next to each other lol.

I'm gonna find SimGolf again to see more of this stuff.

Alright folks, let me let you in on a secret.

My favorite version of Cassandra isn't the S2 Cassandra, or the S1 Cassandra, or god forbid, either of the two S4 Cassandras, or even a theoretically possible S3 Unborn Baby Cassandra

The one I like the most is whatever they were trying to go with for her in that Simgolf nonsense. The sad altar abandonee can sit on a shelf, my fighter of choice is the golf-club-swinging Manson-quoting death-loving rock goth nerd. The coolest Cassandra in the Cassandra-cooler-Cassandra lineup. Her sprite is like, a 5.5 pixel blob and an S1 head, so I get to get wacky with designs, which is also a plus

hi Phil! i also collect old games (Maxis in particular funny enough), and as a fellow collector i have to ask - is there a holy grail game you've been trying to get your hands on that you haven't managed to yet?

I'll give you a Maxis-specific answer! One of my favorite weird Maxis quirks is that in 1996, for a promotional run called Sim Week, Maxis published special editions of all four of their Sim games that year that came with bonus "gifts," depending on the audience for the game. So they came with...

SimCopter: a pair of aviators

SimGolf: branded golf balls

SimPark: a nature watch

SimTunes: a SimTunes-branded harmonica (!)

These have been my holy grail for years, and I managed to get SimGolf and SimCopter... and then managed to locate the other ones earlier this year!!! A former Maxis employee had them, and they're all going to VGHF (and maybe eventually the Strong Museum of Play).

Ever since I was a kid, I've been a fan of SimCity (and of course now enjoying Cities: Skylines II). At the time though, I hadn't really been aware of the extent of the franchise (other than SimAnt which I played once and SimTower which I watched played at my friend's house).

But recently I've looked into the depth of all of the Sim games. There were such wild concepts as SimEarth, SimHealth, SimGolf, SimIsle, etc... But I feel like they've missed one important one:

SimLibrary

Having worked at a library in the same era as these games were produced, I feel it's a horrible oversight to ignore the crazy and complicated task of actually running a public library. And imagine if it did exist in that era. Imagine what scenarios you would encounter. Things like

Managing that army of shelvers and shelf readers.

Adventures down to... The Archive.

For the record, I'm running XP Home Edition and all of my other specs more than meet the system requirements for the game. The Complete Collection of The Sims, March 24, 2005, The Sims Triple Deluxe, The Sims Hot Date, The Sims. I'm happy everything's working now, however, I'd like to know why it kept crashing in the first place and will I have the same issues if I reinstall my other Sim games. The Sims Double Deluxe and The Sims: Vacation. Version: v 1.37 + DLCs + Store Content - Complete Collection. Finally, as a last ditch effort, I did a system restore, reinstalled The Sims and then everything worked out fine.

Right click it and select Update driver software 5. Windows 8 xbox 360 wireless controller driver. Click Download Origin, and the file will download to your computer. The Sims Complete Collection Disk 1 Iso Download 4share. Click on the Play on Origin button, and a download page for the Origin client will open. Before you can start playing, you will need to download the Origin client. I have a couple of other Sim games on my computer (SimsCity 3000, SimGolf, etc) and thought perhaps they were somehow interferring with The Complete Collection software, so I uninstalled those, same result. The Sims 4 is now in your Origin Game Library. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but ended up with the same results. Sims expertise life levels (child, toddler, youngster, teen, younger grownup TS2: U, grownup, and elder) which have them age from start to dying and their genetics. The isometric view of The Sims is changed by a full 3D surroundings. The Sims 2 heralds sweeping adjustments from the unique. Everything installed fine, but I began having issues when I went to start the game I tried running it at 800圆00 and the EA Games screen loaded fine, but when the Sims splash screen popped up, it stayed there for about 5 - 10 seconds and then crashed back to desktop. The Sims 2 The Complete Collection freeload. I recently bought The Sims Complete Collection and have had some issues with getting it to run.

This week is the 23rd anniversary of Sim Week, a promotion Maxis ran in 1996 to kick off the launch of four Sim titles, SimGolf, SimCopter, SimTunes, and SimPark. (Perhaps not by coincidence, Sim Week also lined up with Black Friday.)

Mostly, I love that there’s a specific week of the year that’s designated as Sim Week. But another fun detail here is how these four games – which seem to have launched very close to each other? – all came with pack-in bonuses. The harmonica for SimTunes sounds like it’d be especially awesome and annoying for parents.
