Werewolves Conversions 🌙

Here’s a set of 20 conversions all from The Sims 4: Werewolves! A few of these items were requested by two anons and the rest were ones that I wanted for my own game lol. I also made a quick edit of the billboard sign so you can place it on walls. The telescope is fully animated, the planter box can hold up to four plants, the wall clock actually tells time (and the full moon glows!), and the electric guitar is functional. Just made the mistake of watching the gameplay trailer for Sims 4 Horse Ranch(eros) or whatever that expansion pack is called (really? seriously!? an EP?!?!?!?! Because how else would you charge €39.99, amirite?!)

Am the only one who cringed all of those 3 minutes while the narrator lady was basically making an improv about things you can do with this EP?

"So....yeah....I have a horse....um, my friend also has a horse....oh, and a foal....totally cute foal............we can make nectar....um, different kinds of nectar.................hm.....what else?...

...oh, there's mini-goats too....

....and sheep...

...........

........

....." End of the painfully 3 mins long trailer.

The FEATURES!!!! The GAMEPLAY!!! The DEPTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The INNOVATION OF IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ASTONISHING!!! Never seen something like this before!

So loving the NEW ranch hand feature!!!! (which is probably added because players get bored after 2-3 hrs of playing any new DLC for TS4. And because EA is being considerate this way. You get bored, you call the guy to take over. Simple!)

At this point The Sims 3 Pats has been broken down into TS4 Cottage Living + TS4 Cats & Dogs + TS4 My First Pet Stuff + TS4 Horses.

I'm not in the habit of reacting to TS4 related content and news -at least not "publicly"- but the rude boldness of this embarrassing trailer got me this time.

Shouldn't have watched it!

I haven't watched the first one (the reveal trailer) and everything was fine....*sigh

Will I convert something from this pack? Maybe, maybe not. It appears to be missing even the basic equestrian competition clothes which we do have in TS3 Pets (hence the TS4 Equestrian Apparel Kit *snickers)

Day six: “Let The Light In Library”, A CC-free Community Lot

This is a shell challenge I “converted” from the Sims 4 - in fact the first shell challenge LilSimsie ever released, back in March of 2019. You can see the challenge winners she picked in TS4 over on YouTube - I get a lot of inspiration from her videos even though we play totally different games.

You might notice a little 4x1 box in the middle of the first floor which we weren’t allowed to delete. At first I wanted to make it a custom aquarium, but then decided to make it CC-free, so I came up with this odd sort of indoor terrarium instead - and that shaped the rest of the build.

The back entrance makes it ideal to place between two roads, backing onto another community lot, or attached to neighbourhood deco like in the previews.

(Quick note - while I did playtest this lot, there are no walls on the top floor - it’s just windows placed with moveobjects - to abide by the rules of the shell challenge, so if this causes you weather problems, please just... add walls, like as if it had been built by a normal person.)

But the views make up for that!

//Luke has had many hobbies over the years that he's picked up, had fun with, and then never touched again thanks to his ADHD. Some of them he does circle back around to and only a few actually stick.

His love of The Sims is eternal, though how often he actually plays it varies. He has logged over 1000 hours in playtime both for Sims 3 and Sims 4 each, though he tends to play 4 the most often. He has almost all of the DLC and the ones he doesn't have are due to game play changes he doesn't want. No matter how much he wants to play in Tartosa he refuses to let the wedding system change, even if they someday do fix the bugs.

Some of his hobbies he can really only partake in by watching YouTube videos about them, such as terrarium/aquarium building.

He greatly enjoyed making blankets for his and Dwayne's babies and would like to do more quilting but lack of motivation has always been his biggest enemy.

He wants to learn how to weave.

PORADNIK: Choroba świnki morskiej (ang. Guinea Pig Disease)

W zeszłym tygodniu (notatka jest z 2018 roku, przed premierą The Sims 4 Mój Pierwszy Zwierzak) światem “wstrząsnęła” zapowiedź nowych akcesoriów do The Sims 4, które obracają się w tematyce małych zwierząt. Największe podniecenie wśród Simomaniaków wzbudziła… nowa śmierć. Dodajmy - nowa-stara śmierć, bowiem chodzi tu o niejaką chorobę świnki morskiej. Przeglądając fora natknęłam się na różne komentarze, jednym to nic nie mówi i chwalą pomysłowość twórców “czwórki”, inni natomiast z łezką w oku piszą o wielkim powrocie tej choroby do serii. Tak, choroba świnki morskiej to relikt przeszłości odkopany teraz przez twórców The Sims 4. Czy to sentymentalny powrót i zachęta dla starszych fanów do sięgnięcia po najnowsze DLC, czy po prostu brak nowych pomysłów i odgrzewanie starych, dobrych kotletów? Tego nie wiemy i nigdy się pewnie nie dowiemy, a przy okazji bazując na tym, że temat stał się nośny oraz na prośbę naszego czytelnika Grzegorza, tworzymy poradnik dotyczący tej tajemniczej choroby.

W słynnym dodatku Światowe Życie w trybie kupowania możemy nabyć za 120 simoleonów świnkę morską. Jest to drugie (po rybkach) domowe zwierzątko, które wystąpiło w serii. Opieka nad naszym małym gryzoniem ogranicza się do karmienia go i zabawy, co jakiś czas należy też wyczyścić terrarium zwierzakowi. I tutaj zaczyna się nasza zabawa… Jeśli nie zadbamy o to, żeby przybytek świnki morskiej lśnił czystością to spotka nas z jej strony duża przykrość w postaci ugryzienia, po którym Sim przeraźliwie krzyknie i ciśnie świnkę z powrotem do terrarium.

Dalej jest tylko gorzej, Sim zaczyna kaszleć i kichać, a jego potrzeby komfortu i energii przeraźliwie spadają. Możemy je podbić, ale to na niewiele się zda, bo za chwilę znowu spadną w zastraszającym tempie. Jednak to co się dzieje z potrzebą rozrywki jest jeszcze bardziej niepokojące - maksymalny spadek i tak naprawdę nie ma szans, żeby czymkolwiek ją poprawić, nie udaje się oglądanie telewizji w najlepszym telewizorze, czy gra przed najlepszym komputerem… Tylko zabawa ze świnką morską jest w stanie tę potrzebę polepszyć, ale moi Simowie zwykle szybciej wtedy umierają.

Sama śmierć jest gwałtowna i gra nie pomaga nam odgadnąć co było jej przyczyną (w albumie rodzinnym zdjęcie ma opis, że Sim zmarł na “bliżej nieznaną chorobę”), co prawda piana z ust nie leci i duch nie jest chomikiem, tylko nasz Sim kaszle, po czym upada na ziemię, a Kostucha zabiera go na tamten świat. Ciekawostką jest fakt, że zmarłego na tę chorobę nie da się wskrzesić w żaden sposób. Jeśli ktoś z rodziny umierającego wybłaga Kostuchę o litość, to nasz chory Sim za moment znowu umrze. Z tego co wyczytałam w internecie jest to błąd w grze.

Chorobą świnki morskiej można zarazić innych, ale tylko na terenie naszej parceli mieszkalnej (i na niej tylko choroba będzie aktywna). Możemy zatem spokojnie wyjeżdżać do miejsc publicznych bez zagrożenia, że wytłuczemy połowę mieszkańców SimCity.

Skoro to aż tak poważna choroba, przez którą na zawsze możemy stracić naszego Sima, to czy są sposoby, żeby ją wyleczyć czy spowolnić? Oczywiście wszystkiemu da się zaradzić. Mamy trzy sposoby, żeby pomóc Simom.

1. Kupienie obrazu “Zaginiona Świnka Morska” za 60 simoleonów. Po 16 simowych godzinach całkowicie usunie chorobę z naszej parceli. Warto też zapoznać się z opisem tego przedmiotu, który ostrzega nas przed “klątwą” małego gryzonia.

2. Przy stole doświadczalnym “Alchemik” za 980 simoleonów tworzymy biały napój, który jest lekarstwem na chorobę. Od razu mówię, że prawdopodobieństwo jego uwarzenia jest nikłe i zwykle kończy się na tym, że Sim w międzyczasie zejdzie z tego świata. Co więcej, lekarstwo może zrobić tylko chory, gdzie przy ekspresowo spadających potrzebach komfortu i energii, a także w pewnej chwili wręcz niemożliwej do podniesienia potrzeby rozrywki, opcja ta staje się zupełnie niewykonalna. Dzięki uprzejmości naszego czytelnika, wiemy że to jednak nieprawda (wygląda na to, że my i wiele źródeł w internecie się pomyliło). Napój może zrobić KAŻDY Sim, który przebywa na tej samej parceli z chorym.Tak czy siak musimy liczyć na szczęście, że dość szybko trafi nam się biały napój, bo występuje on bardzo rzadko. Na potrzeby tego poradnika, żeby mieć swoje materiały, wspomagałam się modami na nastrój i 18 razy robiłam doświadczenia z chorym Simem (a łącznie 14 razy próbowałam Simem, który nie był zarażony), aby w końcu trafić na lekarstwo.

3. Życie Sima da się przedłużać zaspokajając co chwila jego potrzeby energii i komfortu. Jeżeli przez dłuższy czas będą one zaniedbane, to możemy się już żegnać.

I to by było na tyle jeśli chodzi o słynną chorobę świnki morskiej. Czy ktoś kiedykolwiek pomyślał, że taki mały, niepozorny gryzoń może dostarczyć tyle nieprzyjemności w życiu Simów? Pamiętajcie - dbajcie o swoje zwierzęta.
