Headcanon: Grusha becomes at least 20% more stereotypically Spanish Paldean when in the presence of other young guys who aren't Spanish Paldean
When around Paldea's League: 'Sup
When around other young male jock gym leaders: (aggressively thicc accent) ¿EyYyYY qUe pAsA hOmBrE?

It's a beautiful lovely sunny day perfect to go outside and ignore my homework and eat ice cream and read comics on a bench surrounded by nature but instead of doing that I feel like any minute now I'm gonna start seeing cartoon bombs attached to balloons falling down upon me

The most unrealistic thing that’s happened so far in my first ever viewing of Trollhunters isn’t that Jim makes a half-assed guess as to how much time he has left in the time-pausing-doohickey-thingamajig, it’s that he guesses correctly. right down to the SECONDS.

Comment on “Smartie Kid”
MK thought that his powers were gone because his staff was gone. But why? How is MK a mega Monkey King fan, yet doesn’t know that the staff is just a fancy, heavy pogo stick? Wouldn’t it make more sense for MK to believe his powers were gone because LBD absorbed them?
Also, it’s weird that MK would make this assumption at all, since literally in the pilot, after Princess Iron Fan steals the staff, MK unlocks his golden eyes of truth when looking at the mural on Flower Fruit Mountain. We are shown, from the beginning, that MK can still use his powers without the staff.
I never once thought that the staff was tied to MK’s powers. The only power that I thought could be related to the staff was the materialization ability, where MK creates LEGO sets, since we never saw him use that power without it. Maybe the writers assumed that this was the fans’ assumption. But I don’t recall ever seeing someone suggest that his powers came from the staff.
Baffling. I swear that line took me out of the episode.
