Alice's actions & image should absolutely be recontextualized and given more sympathy than they are #but I have absolutely no intention of diminishing or downplaying them either. That's why I love her so much.

finally trying out the saturn version of sotn bc of that one recent big patch and a general interest in replaying it

its pretty neat so far all the minor changes due to either regional or system differences are really interesting

besides the dxc dub and very minor annoyances with how hacks work (eg how the text scrolls, since they seemingly just replaced the japanese characters into chunks of the english words, making it look really choppy), i really like this version and might try to play it like this more often

#unless i end up liking the xbox 360 version more iirc i haven't gotten further than the alchemy lab last i played that one #hopefully someone will replace the dialogue with the original it shouldn't be the hardest job but for all the people that can do it it woul #probably be a waste and all the people that /really/ want it likely don't have the skills to do so #ngl maybe they should've just left it untranslated maybe except for some menus that meeded it bc then at least it would be a brand new #experience for me with how the voices sound hell the compressed audio is still the japanese audio
